Mountain Magic.....Rated # 1 in Pigeon Forge by Trip Advisor
Year Purchased: 2004
Why the Owner Chose Pigeon Forge
We chose Wears Valley for the outstanding beauty and its close proximity to the Park and Pigeon Forge. We can enjoy all the shopping and attractions, but return to the peace of the valley in 10 minutes. We live here after retiring from the Chicago area, and could not be happier.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We don't stay often at the cabin as it is usually booked, and we live only a mile away. But every so often we will spend the night just to enjoy the beautiful views, and relax on the deck. It is such a pretty spot, and easy to get to. It is not sitting on top of a mountain, but it still has incredible views. Life is perfect when at the cabin.
You can take Lyon Springs road to the back entrance of the Park and take a short cut to Gatlinburg or Cades Cove. No Traffic!
Owner's Map of Pigeon Forge
Mike and I lived and worked in the Chicago area for all of our lives. Mike was in Industrial construction and I was in real estate. We have traveled extensively and decided to settle in Tennessee for the second half of our lives. We found Wears Valley, one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited, and decided to make it our home. We love the cabin and want others to experience the magic. Its our only cabin so it gets all of our attention. Only our grandkids get more.

When we arrived at Mountain Magic on December 4th I did not know what to expect since I had never stayed in a cabin. From the moment we arrived and saw the cabin I was thrilled. The porch was all decorated for Christmas and when we entered the cabin there was a beautiful Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations. I loved it. It was very clean, cozy, and had everything you could want. The view was the back deck was awesome. Loved the cabin and Wears Valley and will definitely come back again.

Driving to the Cabin for our first night, I started getting nervous! It was dark, cold and foggy and I started thinking what if's!! Well, the moment we drove up and opened the door, it was WOW!! We had the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving!!! We had not even spent the night yet but knew we had found our place to stay from now on when we visit the mountains. The pictures and descriptions of the cabin does not do the cabin justice! I had never stayed anywhere traveling as clean as Mountain Magic. I would highly reccomend this cabin but my husband does not want to tell anyone about it just in case it is at the same time that we would be coming back!!!! Love Mountain Magic!!!!!!

We so enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cabin! It certainly lived up to the listing and then some!!! It is situated in a good, quiet area, that is still close to local attractions. Mike and Cathy, truly thought of everything! The cabin is so tastefully decorated and has all the amenities that one would need, even down to the candy on the nightstand! We had a wonderful time and will for sure call Mountain Magic "our place" for future visits to the Smoky Mountains! Thanks again, Mike and Cathy for a wonderful stay! Very clean, the views were beautiful, so relaxing and we felt at home. I cant believe how they had thought of everything, including toys for our grandson to play with. Sitting on the back porch with the mountain views were my favorite. We really did not want to leave, but we will be back! Thank you Mike and Cathy for sharing your cabin.

After being detoured from the Caribbean by hurricane Irene we choose to visit Pigeon Forge, TN. We did the research and came across Mountain Magic. Having never been to TN we were not sure what to expect, but our luck had turned around. The cabin was clean and homey not to mention the amazing view! We were within 15 -30 minutes of everything allowing us to zip- line, white water raft, horseback ride, Dollywood, shop and see a show. The best part was returning to Mountain Magic to relax where we all had our own space. Mike and Cathy we will visit again -thanks for everything!

Folks, if your looking for a perfect cabin in the Smokies look no further! Mike and Cathy have put their heart into this cabin. They should write a "how to" manual for cabin rentals. Everything that you need is provided when you arrive. The table was set for two when we walked in the door which was a very pleasant surprise. The jacuzzi was warm and ready to go. The whirlpool tub had bath salts and chocolates set out on a tray spanning the tub. Everywhere you turn the personal touches where there making our stay absolutely perfect. You can watch the sun set over the mountains off the back porch while sitting in the jacuzzi. The location is within a quick ride to everything including Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. However, it is just far enough away to make it very peaceful, quiet and private. My wife and I said over and over again to each other that "this place is so great"! We will be back with the family. Every little detail has been thought through by Mike and Cathy to make your stay incredible. Thank you for making our time in the Smokeys so wonderful.

A review from Tripadvisor Our stay at Mountain Magic was great. The location is perfect. It is very close to the national park. The cabin has everything you could want and then some. It is perfect for a couple or family. I would certainly recommend staying there and would stay there again if I get the chance to return. Even though it is in a rural residential area, it is surrounded by trees and seems so secluded and serene. The view from the back porch is amazing. It was so peaceful compared to the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. · Jan from Roswell, New Mexico on 6/30/2011 for a stay

"great get-away!" Thanks to Mike and Cathy! After looking at the website, we booked it thinking it looked nice. It's really nicer than we expected...the way it's decorated and put together just really made us and our 6 and 7 year old daughters feel right at home. Everything we needed. Really appreciated the binder of maps, restaurants and things to do. Thanks again. I've already recommended it to all my friends and family. Kirsten

Guest Review from mimi - Aug 28, 2011 "Wonderful place to stay!" Magic Mountain Cabin was perfect for our first visit to the Great Smoky Mountains. Beautiful view from the back deck of mountains. Cabin was super comfortable for the 4 of us, but could easily have accomodated 2 more. Best of all was the convenience to the National Park through a nearby backroad. Great place & very nice owners - no problems at all! Surely will visit again
