When we arrived at Mountain Magic on December 4th I did not know what to expect since I had never stayed in a cabin. From the moment we arrived and saw the cabin I was thrilled. The porch was all decorated for Christmas and when we entered the cabin there was a beautiful Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations. I loved it. It was very clean, cozy, and had everything you could want. The view was the back deck was awesome. Loved the cabin and Wears Valley and will definitely come back again.

Driving to the Cabin for our first night, I started getting nervous! It was dark, cold and foggy and I started thinking what if's!! Well, the moment we drove up and opened the door, it was WOW!! We had the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving!!! We had not even spent the night yet but knew we had found our place to stay from now on when we visit the mountains. The pictures and descriptions of the cabin does not do the cabin justice! I had never stayed anywhere traveling as clean as Mountain Magic. I would highly reccomend this cabin but my husband does not want to tell anyone about it just in case it is at the same time that we would be coming back!!!! Love Mountain Magic!!!!!!

We so enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cabin! It certainly lived up to the listing and then some!!! It is situated in a good, quiet area, that is still close to local attractions. Mike and Cathy, truly thought of everything! The cabin is so tastefully decorated and has all the amenities that one would need, even down to the candy on the nightstand! We had a wonderful time and will for sure call Mountain Magic "our place" for future visits to the Smoky Mountains! Thanks again, Mike and Cathy for a wonderful stay! Very clean, the views were beautiful, so relaxing and we felt at home. I cant believe how they had thought of everything, including toys for our grandson to play with. Sitting on the back porch with the mountain views were my favorite. We really did not want to leave, but we will be back! Thank you Mike and Cathy for sharing your cabin.

After being detoured from the Caribbean by hurricane Irene we choose to visit Pigeon Forge, TN. We did the research and came across Mountain Magic. Having never been to TN we were not sure what to expect, but our luck had turned around. The cabin was clean and homey not to mention the amazing view! We were within 15 -30 minutes of everything allowing us to zip- line, white water raft, horseback ride, Dollywood, shop and see a show. The best part was returning to Mountain Magic to relax where we all had our own space. Mike and Cathy we will visit again -thanks for everything!

Guest Review from mimi - Aug 28, 2011 "Wonderful place to stay!" Magic Mountain Cabin was perfect for our first visit to the Great Smoky Mountains. Beautiful view from the back deck of mountains. Cabin was super comfortable for the 4 of us, but could easily have accomodated 2 more. Best of all was the convenience to the National Park through a nearby backroad. Great place & very nice owners - no problems at all! Surely will visit again

"great get-away!" Thanks to Mike and Cathy! After looking at the website, we booked it thinking it looked nice. It's really nicer than we expected...the way it's decorated and put together just really made us and our 6 and 7 year old daughters feel right at home. Everything we needed. Really appreciated the binder of maps, restaurants and things to do. Thanks again. I've already recommended it to all my friends and family. Kirsten

The pictures online do not do this cabin justice! Everything is taken care of, from towels and linens to the grill and hot tub! It is very close to the National Park, which was beautiful. While the rest of the country was in a heat wave (mid July) we had mildly warm days and cool evenings. Not one complaint from us at Mountain Magic!

A review from Tripadvisor Our stay at Mountain Magic was great. The location is perfect. It is very close to the national park. The cabin has everything you could want and then some. It is perfect for a couple or family. I would certainly recommend staying there and would stay there again if I get the chance to return. Even though it is in a rural residential area, it is surrounded by trees and seems so secluded and serene. The view from the back porch is amazing. It was so peaceful compared to the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. ยท Jan from Roswell, New Mexico on 6/30/2011 for a stay

Folks, if your looking for a perfect cabin in the Smokies look no further! Mike and Cathy have put their heart into this cabin. They should write a "how to" manual for cabin rentals. Everything that you need is provided when you arrive. The table was set for two when we walked in the door which was a very pleasant surprise. The jacuzzi was warm and ready to go. The whirlpool tub had bath salts and chocolates set out on a tray spanning the tub. Everywhere you turn the personal touches where there making our stay absolutely perfect. You can watch the sun set over the mountains off the back porch while sitting in the jacuzzi. The location is within a quick ride to everything including Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. However, it is just far enough away to make it very peaceful, quiet and private. My wife and I said over and over again to each other that "this place is so great"! We will be back with the family. Every little detail has been thought through by Mike and Cathy to make your stay incredible. Thank you for making our time in the Smokeys so wonderful.

This was a return trip for us to this wonderful cabin. As before, everything was thought of. They even had a crock pot, so I was able to have a roast cooking while we were at the breathtakingly beautiful Cade's Cove. The owner's told us about a back way to get into The Smokey Mountain Park , so we could avoid the commercialism of Pigeon Forge. When we visit this cabin, it is like dear friends have invited us to stay in their gorgeous home, rather than the business feeling you get at a "resort". I think the difference is being privately owned. You have all the luxuries of a resort, but this feels more like a home. I ran out of dishwasher detergent, and literally, within minutes, some was deivered by Mike the owner to our door. We enjoyed the hot tub every night at sunset, and it was a WOW. Our kids continue to talk about it.They enjoyed the foosball table and the Lincoln Logs. The cabin even has a s'more maker, which we used. The sheets on the bed are so smooth, and I love the pillow top over the mattress. I just can't say enogh good about this place and the owners, who just have a knack for hospitality. We make great memories here. Mountain Magic really does feel magical.

We were very pleased with everything about "Mountain Magic". We have been talking about this cabin, and its setting, since our return to family and friends and would certainly stay there again ourselves. It's perfect for a small family gathering OR a wonderful getaway for two. While the pictures of this cabin are beautiful, they don't do it justice. The views are wonderful. It was spotless and is obviously lovingly cared for by the owners. Lots of things to do in the area for all ages. A great Smoky Mountain experience.

We just returned from our stay at Mountain Magic cabin. We had the most relaxing stay and were able to rejuvenate and reconnect as a family. The setting was so peaceful and Kathy and Mike seemed to personally prepare the cabin to meet our needs. This is a cabin perfect for anyone that just wants to get away. My toddler can't wait to go back and stay again this summer!

We enjoyed everything about the Mountain Magic Cabin. Mike and Cathy took such pride in every detail of the cabin from a real Christmas tree to lovely chocolates & a book nicely placed by the whirlpool bath tub. Everytime we turned our eyes our mouths were saying "awe, look at this". The wonderful pictures on the website are nothing compared to the beauty in person. I could not even hardly get the kids to go places because they loved the cabin so much. We loved everything about the cabin and will be back in the future. Perfect getaway for anyone whether your newlyweds or retired or a family. Two Thumbs up from the Jones Family!!!

Mountain Magic Cabin not only fulfilled our expectations but far exceeded it. My husband and I were very surprised when we walked into the cabin. Mike and Cathy are experts are making their guest feel at home. From the beautiful fall decorations, table set for two, towels by the hot tub, and a good book with chocolates for a relaxing bath, every item we would ever need or want was supplied. All we had to do was bring our own grocieries and relax. We loved the easy access to Pigon Forge, Gatlinbug and the National Park. Mountain Magic Cabin is close to the Northern entrance to the park so we were able to visit Cades Cove during the eary morning hours when the wildlife were most active. Thank you Mike and Cathy for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back.

We've stayed at the big "fancy" cabins and this by far exceeded every cabin we've stayed at. The owners are amazing, they make you feel so at home and you have everything at your fingertips. The towels and bedding are sooooo nice, not those "yard sale" towels you find at some cabins. 3 steps to paradise, that's what the Mountain Magic cabin is! We'll definitely be back, if you are looking for an amazing little place, look no further.

We had such a great stay in this cabin in the mountains. It is well equipped, including all the personal touches to make things easy and care free. Mountain Magic was perfectly located for our trips in one direction to Cades Cove and the Park and in the other direction to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for great food, shopping and nightlife. Mike and Cathy were great to work with and checked on us after our arrival to make sure we had no further questions. (BTW, use their suggestions in the guestbook for restaurants and exploring!) We hope we can come back with our grandson and explore Dollywood. When we do, we will definitely stay at Mountain Magic. it's a great cabin for couples and for families and we plan to use it again "familystyle".

We loved our stay at Mountain Magic. This large, super clean cabin has all the comforts of home, minus the stress - plus many extras for kids and mom and dad. We enjoyed the beautiful mountain view off the huge back porch, without having to drive 20-30 minutes up a mountain road. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to everything. We'll be back for the snowy season!

Cabin included a dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, two bathrooms, Cable TV along with DVD and VCR. Free wireless internet. But still easy to unplug and just relax :) Cabin was super close to so many activities - Dollywood, Gatlinburg, National Parks and all the attractions in Pigeon Forge.

We spent 5 wonderful nights in the Mountain Magic Cabin during early April. The cabin was decorated so nicely for Easter. There were lots of little "extra" touches that made the cabin feel like a home away from home. We were traveling with our small children and they were thrilled to find lincoln logs, crayons, and children's movies at the cabin. The owners were very attentive and have put a lot of care into the cabin. We cannot wait to return!

Thank you for allowing us to spend these 2 days in your cabin. This has been wonderful. The cleanliness amazed me. At our house we do not wear shoes in the house only stocking feet. Told my wife to look at my socks, they look as if I had just put them on. We thought all the (fall) decorations were great and don't change anything. We have stayed at several cabins in Pigeon Forge in the last 40 years. I would have to say it is the cleanest cabin I have stayed at. I have been a quality inspector for 40 years and I don't miss much. Thanks again and we will return if you allow us.

One of the nicest things about this cabin is the location. It is conveniently located to Gatlinburg but far enough away to feel the serenity of the Great Smokey Mountains.
