Residenza Mansi I
The ultimate in luxury! A Broadway Producer's Private Retreat in the heart of Lucca’s "centro storico." Every possible care has been taken to furnish and present this apartment in a luxurious and opulent manner that will delight even the most assiduous holiday makers.
Exceptionally large and spacious, there are five bedrooms, four full bathrooms (a feature being the main suite’s incredible double en-suite with connecting shower room.), three dining areas, a sitting room with balcony, a television lounge, two kitchens, and a very large terrace.
The full apartment is extremely spacious for 8 guests. The fourth bedroom contains a trundle bed (can be for two people), but the room leads to the terrace, so there is reduced privacy. It is perfect for children. For an additional rent of only $300 USD per week, we can add a large bedroom with three twin beds and another full bath with tub/shower.

We had the good fortune to be able to rent this wonderful apartment for two weeks in May. We
have rented many apartments in Europe and have never been in as lovely a space as this. Charles has
thought of everything and his taste is impeccable. Many wonderful meals were enjoyed on the
beautiful terrace. Cooking at home was a pleasure in the well appointed kitchen. One afternoon we
had a cooking lesson and would recommend that others do the same. It was such fun.
When we return to Lucca, this will be where we will stay.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Residenza Mansi in April '10. Traveling with 4 adult children, the apartment was perfect in that it gave everyone the privacy they needed. The modern kitchen was great for preparing dinner at "home" and it's location was great for a nice, easy walk to so many of the wonderful restaurants in Lucca. It was also in close proximity to the train and bus stations so travel to areas outside Lucca was a breeze. We loved our visit and look forward to a time when we can return one day soon!

My husband stayed at Residenza Mansi with another family in April 2010. It is a lovely, spacious, well-equipped apartment within the walls of Lucca. We had every amenity we could have wished for including a big kitchen, washer/dryer, and internet access. Residenza Mansi ranks as one of our top accomodations during our visit to Italy. I highly recommend it!

My girlfriends and I spent three perfect weeks at Residenza Mansi and thoroughly enjoyed all Lucca and this apartment had to offer. We found the location exceptionally good. The weather during March and April was absolutely "divino". We enjoyed a week of Italian school and the remaining time we visited nearby towns via bus and train and really got to know Lucca - its shops, restaurants and people. We enjoyed a cooking class in the apartment given by Alessandra and learned so much. The amenities at the apartment were very special. We did not lack anything and enjoyed shopping at the various markets and eating at home more often than we originally planned. We felt very much at home and safe. We can't stop talking about our "perfect" vacation. Thanks Charles and Andrea for your assistance. We hope one day to return to this beautiful, special town. Ciao.

We rented both the Residenza Mansi and Toro Vista to accommodate two families, 10 total. Both apartments are beautifully decorated and quite expansive. The kitchens are well equipped and everything you would want in a home, Charles has provided, even bikes. Lucca is the perfect place to stay in Tuscany. It is easy to take day trips to Cinque Terre, Pisa, Florence and the beach (the train is a short walk from the apartment.) Lots of quaint fabulous restaurants and shops are right around the corner too. I would definitely recommend the Residenza Mansi -- 4 stars! Our vacation was perfect. Thank you to Charles and Andrea for everything!

I stayed at Residenza Mansi in July with my children and one grandchild. Everything was wonderful. The apartment was exactly as described online. We hated to leave. The property manager Chiara is fantastic.

The Residenza Mansi was the perfect hub for our stay in Italy. This is a wonderfully appointed "home" with a great feel, plenty of room, and a perfect location. We cooked some great family dinners here, and took day trips from the train and bus stations all over Italy. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Lucca or in Italy for that matter. The bicycles made our stay even more fun, helping us blend in like the locals… Thanks for a great stay Charles and Chiara!

Thinking of Italy? Think LUCCA! Then think Residensi Mansi. Its twice as nice as Four Seasons and ten times the average suite. Safely and conveniently located in the "walls" its the best of the best. Shop til you drop in some of Italy's most classy boutiques, eat in a wide selection of gourmet restaurants, choose daily fresh vegetables, breads, pasta, desserts to die for! I live in my own paradise on the beach---but I'd move here in a minute. Everything you'll ever need is right here in the apartments--tastefully decorated and exceedingly comfortable. Through my years I have rented villas, time shares, apartments, weekly hotels and perhaps others. NOTHING can compare to residence Mansi. It was clean, spacious, well furnished, and a fantastic place to stay. The owner and property manager have only one goal in mind and that is to make the guest feel at home. I strongly suggest that if you want a pleasent and rewarding experience then residence Mansi is the appropriate selection. I look forward to my next stay.

We had a wonderful time at Residenza Manzi for the second year in a row - the exquisite renovation makes staying in the apartment nearly as enjoyable as exploring some of the surrounding areas near Lucca. It is perfectly located for the beach as well as numerous day trips to places such as Cinque Terre, Montefegatesi and Montecatini. With several fine restaurants within walking distance for nights when you don't want to cook, the outdoor deck for dinners "at home," and the big screen TV for the unusual rainy day, Residenza Mansi has it all.

Residenza Mansi was a wonderful, comfortable retreat to come home to after wandering the ever interesting streets of Lucca.The ammenities were everything we could have wished for, and more. I hope I will have the opportunity to visit again soon!
