Beachwalk Four sits among a cluster of six uniformly white but individually styled cottages. It is a spotlessly clean house that is completely updated but still manages to retain a feel of generations of summer family fun. The owners make you welcome with a thoughtful gift bag, a very informative local information booklet, and a well equipped kitchen supplied with many basics you might have forgotten. I enjoyed reading the cookbooks although I never actually turned on the stove. The beds are comfortable and the rooms bright and cheerful. You should be aware that you need to go through the master bedroom to get to the second bedroom, making it more suitable for family accomodation than two couples. It is only a quick walk across a laneway to access the lovely sandy beach that stretches for miles. However my favourite spot to view the beach was the incredible rooftop patio while my partner favored stretching out on the windowseat in the master bedroom. I cogratulate the owners on a very well run enterprise.

Great holiday by the ocean

My husband and I stayed at this charming beach house with another couple for a week at the end of August this year. The cottage is very cute and well equipped, and is kept in immaculate condition by Steve and Valancy. And they were so helpful to us from the time of booking and during our vacation, answering very quickly to my myriad questions. The cottage is at the best section of the beach, with lovely sand and not as crowded. We were very lucky with the hot sunny weather and were able to go swimming daily. The best place for fresh seafood was picking it up at Bayley's Lobster Pound and having fun dinners in the cottage. It is also centrally located for visiting areas like Freeport, Portland, Kennebunkport, Biddeford Pool and Ogonquit. The only problem we encountered was that, as 2 couples, there is not much privacy in the way the bedrooms are set up. Probably better for one couple with children. But we had a great time and would do it again, Thank you Steve and Valancy!!

My family and I have been vacationing at Steve and Valancy's beach house for 4 years now. The house is absolutely adorable, clean, and bright and located on arguably the best section of Old Orchard Beach -- wide, flat, and well-kept. You can do no wrong in renting this adorable house. My family and I look forward to returning to our "home away from home" every summer and we are already counting down the days until we can return again!

What a great vacation we enjoyed this August in charming Beachwalk 4, which is really just 50 steps from the beautiful white sand of OOB. The cottage is so pretty and confortable, filled with little details that made our stay so pleasant and effortless. The roof top deck is a very special place for coffee, dinner or simply breathing in the ocean air. The private backyard with gas bbq made our dinner fixing a breeze. All the amenities truly make this property a real gem. I'm almost hesitant to rave in my review for I'd like to keep this wonderful place all to myself, my own little secret. Thank you Valancy & Steve for your thoughtfulness and all the TLC you obviously put in Beachwalk 4. Hope to be back.

We spent a week in October at Beachwalk 4 and could not have been happier with our choice of a vacation rental. The cozy, sunlit cottage had such fun and whimsical décor, comfy furniture and bed, and a well-stocked kitchen with all the basic essentials. What particularly impressed us was its sparkling cleanliness top to bottom, inside and out. In addition, there was a good supply of local tourist information and maps, and restaurant recommendations. Valancy and Steve were so congenial, and accommodating to make sure we had all we needed to make our stay a success.Beachwalk 4's proximity to the beach is great for frequent beachwalks and just enjoying the seaside, and it is centrally located to many points of interest to make daily exploring ventures easy to undertake. We would definitely return when our travels take us east again.

We just got back from a wonderful week at Old Orchard in Steve and Valancy's beautiful home. The cottage is clean, charming, comfortable, and has plenty of space for our family of 4. We loved the fact that the house is so close to the beach, with all the stuff you lug with kids. I also liked the enclosed in backyard area. We would definitely come back to rent here again and feel very lucky that we found such an amazing vacation spot!

We stayed with my 2 daughters here this past month - and had the best vacation ever. The house is so charming, clean and comfortable - plenty of space for our family of 4....the best part is that its so close to the beach, when with all the stuff you have to lug with kids - is so nice......I did not want to come home and will definitely rent this house again.....We feel so lucky to have found this great vacation spot!

This house was a dream come true for my sister and me. We were so close to the beach! The cottage is lovely and beautifully decorated. It has lots of light from all the windows. This beach house exceded our expectations by quite a lot. The owners take great pride in making sure that families are comfortable and have everything they need. Having such a delightful place to stay just added to our joy of celebrating our son's graduation. The rooftop deck was truly awesome with beautiful views of the ocean. We were made to feel so welcome and the owners did whatever they could to make our stay perfect. Even though we live in Maine and have travelled a lot, we have never found a more beautiful beach than Old Orchard. This lovely beach house is truly located on the nicest stretch of the 7 mile beach. Its so close to the Beach you can pretty much say oceanfront and the views from the rooftop deck and the second floor are breathtaking. The house is nicely furnished and very clean. We had a couple of special requests for a special needs child and the owners were extremely accomodating. We can't wait to go back!

We love Old Orchard and used to go every summer when the Canadian dollar was worth more. We were happy to be able to go back this year and this was the nicest place we have ever stayed. You could eat off the floors, it was so clean. The 2nd floor window seat was my favorite spot, well maybe the rooftop deck was. It is very tastefully decorated and even has a wet bar and refrigerator upstairs on the rooftop deck. It is only a half minute walk to the beautiful beach and you can see the beach from alot of the windows in the beach house. We have already booked a week for next summer at Beachwalk Four. I would highly recommend this place.

We had an extremely relaxing time at Beachwalk 5. The house was SPOTLESS clean, which is important to us. It is located on the nicest part of the 7 mile beach,away from the busy pier but close enough to walk to downtown in less than 10 minutes. It has an incredible rooftop deck where we enjoyed our morning coffee everyday. There were beautiful flowering window boxes. We will definitely return. It is obvious this property is well cared for.
