We have stayed at Sea Mountain before in a different unit. We enjoyed both the studio unit was great beautiful views, clean, and very well maintained. Had one problem with a leak under the bathroom sink but it was taken care of quickly by the owner, who stopped by the next day to check. we would recommend this unit to any of our friends and will probably return ourselves.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The condo was the perfect location for us on my first trip to the Big Island. A great place to base our day trips from - not too far of a drive and for the most part a sunny spot to go to and from. And then to relax in the awesome hot tub and cool off in the beautiful pool every evening just topped things off. Great beach and turtles a walk away and a wonderful view of the ocean over the golf course. Nice and private, quiet and clean. Mahalo!

Thank you for sharing your place for us. It is a perfect location with gorgeous view. The kitchen was very handy. Each morning we had breakfast with birds around and just short drive to say hi to turtles when we went out. We had a very good time and good memory for the first time in Hawaii.

29 years after our first visit to Sea Mountain we finally returned and we have been asking ourselves, why did we wait so long. Unit # 32 is one of the most private at Sea Mountain and the views from the lanai of the golf course and ocean are wonderfull from sunrise to sunset. We saw Humpbacks and Dolphins while having our morning coffee or lunch or pupus on the lanai. We also met some great and fun people during our stay. Bobby was a wonderful host and gave us lots of tips on where to go and where the best place was to get this and that. It was our home away from home. So much so we are going back next year for a longer stay. Thanks so much Bobby and we look forward to seeing you next year. Stewart & Linda

Stayed here in November of 2007 with my brother.We both absolutely loved it. We booked for 5 nights but ended up extending our stay by a couple of days. Great view, within 30 minutes of Volcano National Park, a 5 minute walk to a black sand beach, and right on a golf course with very few people around. This was by far our favorite place that we stayed at during our trip. I hope to make it back some time in the next year or two. Pretty much every day we would go out to the Lanai and have our coffee in the morning and beer in the evening overlooking the ocean. Awesome. Owners were very friendly and helpful as well. Thanks.

This property is truly beautiful. It looks out over a golf course and onto the ocean. The condo is very clean and fully furnished for a short stay. Barbara was very courteous and very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed for 10 days in March - absolutely wonderful. Excellent location - awesome view - nice facilities. We look forward to a return visit next year. Definitely the best and most peaceful vacation - exactly what we were looking for. Enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching the whales. Mahalo!

We really enjoyed our three days at Sea Colony. We were on the island to look for a new home and had spent more than a week looking at properties all over the island. This stop was to relax, recover, and make some decisions. The location and amenities were perfect for that. The unit is very comfortable with a nice view of the golf course and a distant ocean view. It had everything we needed and we enjoved a relaxing round of golf. the course isn't in the best condition, but there were no crowds so pace of play was relaxed. Would definately stay here again.

Definately 5 star! Perfect getaway for two. Very clean, quiet, and well furnished. Best view of all the surrounding condos. Convenient to Hawaiian Volcanoes Nat. Park. We spent 3 days there and one day to Mauna Kea's summit. The pool and hot tub were a relaxing way to end the day. Golf is reasonable, but the course needs some attention. We would happily return.

We had a very nice three days there with a beautiful view of the ocean and golf course. It was nice to leave our "things to do" at home and stay in a comfortable and relaxing unit. We appreciated that it was quiet, hardly any noises from others around. The refrigerator/top freezer size was good, lots of space to put all your groceries in. The location of the condo was conveniently close to the beach and fishing area. And it was about an hour drive to south point; we parked our truck and walk about an hour to the green sand beach. The walk there as well as the beach itself were very nice. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your place.

We wanted to tell you that we had a wonderful time on the Big Island. Your condo is great. Perfect for two people and probably with the best view out of all condos in that area. Looking at the ocean and not seeing other buildings gave us a feeling of being there alone. Sea turtles greeted us on the first evening we arrived and they were also there on the last morning just before we left. We will be definitely recommending this place to people who don't need city life during their vacation. Thank you for making our stay on the Big Island so enjoyable. Joanna and Michal

We stayed in the condo for 3 days and wished it would have been longer. Absolutely wonderful. Very peaceful. For those who want to relax and get away from everything. Shopping for food is a must in Hilo or Kona before arriving. The few grocery stores were very limited and expensive. The few restaurants 10 or 15 minutes down the road were very good. This place is a must for romance or relaxation.

This is the ideal place for total relaxation. The birds sing and the surf pounds while you enjoy the spectacular view from the lanai. The grounds are impeccable and the condo is well-equipped. The short stroll down to the black sand beach was always rewarded with sea turtle encounters. The golf course shows it's age a bit but for $36 a round, including the cart, you will not find a better deal on the island. It's rarely busy so there was no pressure and this added to the pleasure of playing here. Stock up on groceries in either Kona or Hilo as the local markets are handy but do not have the same selection as the larger centres. If you are looking for a place to get away from fast food, traffic and noise, this is where you want to be. I'm already saving for my next trip over. Leeanne & Lance Mueller Surrey, B.C.

You won't get a view like this, for even 2x or 3x this price, anywhere else on the island . . . we absolutely loved lounging around on the lanai with the waves crashing just 1/8 mile away. The black sand beach with its turtles was terrific. The condo is small, but it is clean and spacious enough for 2 people. We would come back here.

Your emails kept telling us wenwould enjoy your place--we DID. The pictures we took of your views: the ocean, golf course, flowers, birds, mountains and neat clouds will keep our vacation memories alive! Your location made it possible for us to take a helicopter ride from Hilo(we did see lava flow into the ocean), 2 trips to the Volcano Park including the night views of the plume(colors varing from white to gray to a light pink) & to see turtles at Black Sand Beach. We liked the character of your condo: the wooden doors dividing the sitting space & sleeping area. Your touch of decorations add intrigue: the woodcut prints of ocean life, paintings of coffee harvest, & the wall hanging of symbols that are close to those in the Volcano's auditorium. We returned from Hawaii this morning and wanted to let you know that we enjoyed our three days at your condo. It is a beautiful location away from the hussle and bustle of Kailua-Kona. The birds that visited us on the deck in the morning were beautiful! We also enjoyed the nice artwork in the condo. As we explored the area, we spent time at Whittington Park located fairly close by.
