The house was very nice, clean, and everything was as stated in the ad. The owners were easy to contact, responsive to our questions. They were also willing to get the house ready on short notice. The best thing of all about the house is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. It is very close to the west entrance station of Glacier Nat'l Park. We visited during November and the park was all ours. Very few people were there despite the fact the colors and weather were wonderful. The village of West Glacier was buttoned up for the winter so any dining out has to be done in Columbia Falls, Whitefish, or Kalispell. The house has a comfortable kitchen and eating area so dining out is not necessary. There are dishes and pots and pans in the kitchen and there is a nice dining area. We brought food and cooked in the house. We hiked a portion of the Avalanche Creek trail and there was no one else there. Several weeks prior to that I had hiked the same trail and there were hundreds of others. We plan on renting this property again--especially during the off season. Restaurants in Whitefish that we really enjoy are the Buffalo and Wasabi. We have recommended this to friends. Off season activities in this area would be hiking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and taking pictures. The type of the activity would depend on current weather. I check the West Glacier area weather by going to the Glacier National Park webcams and checking Lake McDonald and Apgar Village webcams.

I would definitely recommend this property. The location is great for all kinds of activities....golfing, rafting, skiing, hiking..the list goes on. It is clean and well maintained and is great for a family or just the gals!!

If you are looking for glitz, pools, and a need to dress up...go to Vegas. If you want the opposite...solitude and the natural wonders that northwest Montana has to offer, stay here. This lovely cabin is in the best location to walk/float the river, golf, and step over the road and be in Glacier Park. I have been here with friends to relax and forget about the constant schedule of 'busy' back home. Whatever the season, there is always something to do right outside the door. If you just want to have peace and quiet...you have that too. The home is clean and the management is easy and efficient to deal with. I will be planning another trip there soon!!!

Conveniently located for many outdoor activities

We found this to be a wonderful family getaway! It was so close to many outdoor activities. Hiking in Glacier National park is minutes away. Rafting, fishing, golfing are literally at your fingertips!! Great places to go out to eat if that is what you would like to do. The Belton Chalet is very close by. We found this house to be very clean and comfortable. Hope to spend many more vacations here!!

We have stayed at this beautiful cabin the last 4 Memorial weekends. Great location on the 18th hole of Glacier View Golf course. Awesome views and very comfortable.....everything you need for a great getaway......bring a little food, wine, and your beautiful spouse for a perfect date!!!

Thank you for sharing your home with us. All the amenities. Loved sitting on the bench and watching the golfers. Our 1 year old granddaughter was fascinated by the finches and wrens outside the window. Great location too. We will be back!!

I have rented homes, condos and cabins in the internet as well as all of my travel (planes, rental cars, dinner reservations, tee times, etc.) for several years now. I have had only a couple of disappointments. But, most, like yours, met all of my expectations. The location, cleanliness, satellite TV (I need my sports fix), kitchen and setting made the Staggerin' Inn perfect for my trip. Although only my brother and i stayed there, there is room for more people. If you golf, want to visit Glacier National Park or see the sights, the Staggerin' Inn is ideal. I cannot come back next year for the golf tournament because of a conference. However, in future years, I will be reserving.
