Why the Owner Chose Highlands
Family ties in Highlands. Grandparents bought a place there in 1930 on Mirror Lake. Grew up going there in Summers.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
The temperature is our favorite. Love the cool air. Have even built fires on the fourth of July. The neighborhood and neighbors are great because it's small, there's only 11 homes. But we really enjoy entertaining there, and hiking. The Whiteside loop is five minutes away, takes only 2 hours, and you get to see what Highlands and Cashiers are all about.
