The beach below the cliffs - Capo Vaticano, Calabria Perched on a high cliff at the tip of Capo Vaticano, this unique property is located in a gated compound where nature has been preserved from the over-construction that plagues much of the Italian coast. Years of care and meticulous landscape design have transformed this cliff into a green haven, from which to enjoy breath-taking views of the Mediterranean, and the Aeolian Islands. The volcano of Stromboli, directly west on the horizon, is the protagonist of some of the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see. The compound enjoys a private access to the beach below, but the addition of a nine-foot/ten-inch by 50-foot/ten-inch (three metres by 15.5 metres) pool has greatly enhanced the enjoyability of this very exclusive villa. The property consists of a main house with kichen and living areas, master bedroom and second bedroom, each with en-suite bathroom, and two guest houses, separate from the main house, each with a bedroom and a bathroom.
