  Perfect location for a relaxing vacation on the beach! Enjoyed being close to restaurants, shops, and the white sandy beach!

  Nice condo, owner was very good helping with the reservation. The condo was very clean and had several beach items including chairs and rafts that made the trip more enjoyable. The kitchen had everything to prepare meals even though we didn’t actually prepare any. We did have one big problem after we left, I received a notification from the owner asking if I accidentally took home two designer pillows by mistake(cleaning crew told owner pillows were missing). I took this that I was being accused of stealing the pillows. The owner checked the condo and found the pillows(the previous renter had stuck them behind the headboard), no real apology was made but I was than accused of having a dog that soiled the carpet, I informed the owner that I didn’t even own a dog and we did not have any pet or dog with us. I did get my damage deposit back after this was taken care. I would recommend that any person renting this condo or other to treat it like a car rental, demand a list of items that the owner and cleaning crew check for and look over the condo for any damage, including carpet stains and damage to furniture. If the previous renter would have stolen these pillows, I would have been required to compensate the owner.

  Owner response: John, I'm sorry you experienced this. It was truly not my intent for you to feel this way. Both issues helped me confirm whether the cleaning crew had done their job correctly. Obviously, they had not. They overlooked the missing pillow and the pet stain from the prevous renter. I have talked to them to make sure this doesn't happen again. This is the first negative review I have ever received and I take it very seriously. I hope you will consider using my condo again the next time you visit Destin. Regards, Barb

  This is our third time staying at this beautiful condo. We came on the heels of Hurricane Isaac and were so relieved that we didn't have to cancel our trip. Barbara was wonderful and kept us very informed of the conditions. As with previous stays, we found the condo lovely,cozy, and perfect for our family of 4 (plus our little dog, Mollie). The beach is the central point of course, but we love to shop at the outlets and visit Harborwalk Village. Everything was great! Thank you Barb!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with young children.

  I had a Great time!!!! We haven't been on vacation in 14 years and loved every minute of it... The condo was perfect! Lots of room and it provided everything we needed and more! All we needed was clothes and food... Barb was great and provided lots of extras like everything you could need for going to the beach and everything for your kitchen needs... I will be back... Thanks for such a care free time we Loved it!!!!

  Excellent place to stay! This is our 4th time. Great for the whole family including the family pets!

  This being the first time I used HomeAway to plan a vacation meant I was a little skeptical if the property I booked would live up to it's listing... With that said, if all the properties on HomeAway are like this one then we are all in good hands. This condo was exactly as advertised and possibly even better. I took my mother to Destin for her 60th birthday and Mothers Day and she is already making plans to stay at this property again next year. Between the easy access to the beach, cleanliness, location in regards to shops/restaurants/grocery stores and the friendliness of others around, it's an ideal property for couples and families alike. The property owner was attentive and easy to work with even though I'm all the way in Texas. On top of that, our deposit was returned in a timely manner after our visit. We will definitely be back!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

  Well we started off with tropical storm Erin for the first two days which really didn't matter we was at the beach. The waves were amazing due to the storm, something we hadn't experienced on other trips to the beach. The condo was exceptional and had everything we needed, including dish liquid and laundry soap which we have never had at other condos we've rented. This was a pet friendly unit which was great, our Snickers loved being able to travel with us. We also enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella what a great idea to include in the rental of the unit. When we go back to the beach we will most likely rent this same unit it was a great time. Thanks Barb for sharing your condo with us.

  This is my family's second time staying at this unit. Both times Barb has been such a gem in the reservation process and following. She is very understanding and will work with you. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed the beach, with the umbrella and chairs included in the weeks rental. We really like the fact that we were in walking distance to our favorite restaurant, Pompano Joe's. :-) I highly recommend this unit not only for the price, but also the fact the owner is very easy to work with.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, families with young children.

  We were more than pleased with this condo upon our arrival from Houston last summer! The condo was clean and well-appointed. Even better, there was a washer and dryer in the unit as well! Also, our furry friend loved being able to hang out on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air. Barbara kept us updated regarding the oil spill and was so easy to work with regarding our reservation. We're heading back to Destin this summer and have every intention of staying here again.

  Recommended for: Pet owners.
