My girlfriend was getting married and had her heart set on staying at "Sunny Disposition." The owners were more than accomodating and our bachelorette party had the best time, especially the bride-to-be. The location was perfect for the sites we wanted to visit. Everything was impeccably clean, we had a great time singing karaoke and house was just as described. I would definitely recommend this property and can't wait to visit again.

We spent 4 days at "Sunny Disposition" over Easter and were just thrilled. Stacy thought of everything! Even little things that we forgot, she had available for us! We felt very 'taken care of' before and after our stay via phone calls from Stacy to check in to see if we needed anything. Our group of 12 (5 kids 7 adults) thoroughly enjoyed the cozy house, playground right across the street and amazing view from the deck. The main room of the house was perfect for all of us to be in at the same time but we were able to do separate activities too. We have already talked about the possibility of returning for another get-away!

This is a correction to the previously entered comment regarding the air-conditioning. Instead of installing the mini-split air conditioning upstairs, we opted to upgrade the central AC. ALL rooms of the house now have vents with central air to keep you nice and cool!!

We continually strive to make "Sunny Disposition" the perfect vacation cottage. In response to the occasional comment of the upstairs bedrooms being warm during the summer months..We have newly installed 3 zone air conditioning for the summer of 2011. Now,the downstairs and both upstairs bedrooms have air conditioning units to keep you cool even on the warmest of summer days!! I rented the house and invited some of my friends and family to come stay for a week to celebrate my 40th, and it was easily one of the best birthdays I've ever had! The house is clean and cozy and very well equipped. The location is perfect, with the deck and the beach right out the door, and the playground across the street, both of which the kids LOVED! Everyone commented on how nice the place was, and everyone was surprised by something specific they liked the best, from the bikes available, to the fire pit, to the playground, to the gaming system and wi-fi, to the simple fact that there were enough coffee cups for all guests and then some! We were perfectly comfortable, perfectly entertained, perfectly content, and all would love to come back again some day.

We had a great time at this cottage. We used the cottage and condo combo to house our whole family of 9 Adults and 15 children (2 babies). We loved the bicycles and the park across the street for the kids and the water right at our feet. We loved watching the sunsets on the deck. The large, comfortable couch in the great room made a comfortable bed at night for a couple with their 4 year old. The unit is well equipped with everything from cooking utensils to marshmallow roasting forks. The only problem is no air conditioning vents in the upstairs bedrooms. Thank goodness we could bring kids downstairs and have them sleep on the floor. Other than that, we enjoyed being together and putting on shows and swimming and fishing and traveling to Put-in-Bay.

A group of 7 of us went up to bring in the New Year at the Port Clinton Walleye Madness. Overall the house was nice, clean, and well stocked. It's too bad the house does not have a dishwasher as that's a nice luxury to have with a large group! Having a fireplace came in very handy with the freezing temperatures outside! Stacy was great to work with and made things very simple. This would be a nice place for a family to stay.

We had a great time at the cottage for a weekend retreat for our small bible study group. Stacy was great to work with and very accommodating to our needs. The cottage had things for young babies - toys, highchair, pac-n-play, which we appreciated not having to pack! We would highly recommend working with them!

WOW! What a gorgeous cottage! We really enjoyed our stay! My girls were blown away by how nice, neat and clean the house was. We have stayed in hotels lately and this is only the 2nd house environment and we loved being able to all sit together in the living room/kitchen and visit before bed and eat breakfast in the morning. The beds were very comfortable also. No complaints. Even though we had 12 ladies, the one shower worked out just fine. We worked together and showered half in pm half in am and just worked perfectly! It was really too cold and windy to have any outdoor stuff like eating on the deck or bonfires but we did take pictures of the sunrise and some of the girls stood out there to drink their coffee. Thanks again for all of your help with my planning and I hope you found everything to be neat and orderly when the cottage was cleaned! I will recommend you to others in the future! Who knows, maybe me & the husband and kids will rent the cottage sometime for us! Becky (Ohio)

Our stay at this property was wonderful. The home was cheery, clean, well-kept and the views of Lake Erie were beautiful. Our families celebrated our parents' 40th anniversary over the weekend, and, since we have a total of 12 children under 13 years old, the playground directly across from the cottage was a lifesaver! We wholeheartedly recommend this location!

We were so impressed with "Sunny Dispositions" when we first walked in and also as the week went on. It's better than the pictures on the web. It's clean and well stocked just like it was your own place. In fact I felt at home there. Even felt safe in the community...very privet. The sheets, towels and even blankets smelled fresh. Everything was there right down to night lights. The only thing you need to bring is food. We went to Cedar Point, Marblehead Lighthouse, Put in Bay and Kenny House (wonderful massage place). The rest of the time we spent at the cottage grilling out, playing games, swimming and relaxing on the deck listening to the waves. I was worried about only having a bath and a half but we had 7 people there and it wasn't a problem. All in all our visit was wonderful and hopefully we'll be returning next year.

My husband and I rented this cottage and invited all our grown children to join us. All 7 of us had a wonderful time. It felt like home as soon as we all walked in the door. It was well stocked with everything we needed, clean and welcoming. The sheets, towels and even the blankets smelled fresh. We spent some time away at Cedar Point, Marblehead Lighthouse, Put in Bay and a very nice spa called The Kenny House. And the rest of the time we just hung out at our cottage, grilling, swimming, playing games and laughing. We all had such a good time we hated to leave. Us girls will really miss the sound of the waves. It was so nice to sit on the deck and watch the sunset too. And the kids will never be too old for a playground (right across the street) with a basketball court too. Also took the bikes out for a ride around the area which is a very quiet clean community. We saw a sheriffs car patrolling the area ocasionally too which made us feel very safe. When I was shopping around for a summer cottage to rent, Stacy was the only one who called me at home and kept in contact with me to answer all my questions. All in all everyone had a wonderful vacation thanks in part to 'Sunny Disposition' and they're very caring owners

We Had a 50th birthday party for my sister at the house and had so much fun! We really liked the cottage feel about it. We were a little suprised by the size of the living room/kitchen area, it was a little smaller than the pictures looked but still very nice. We had a great time! Thanks!

We rented this cottage for 3 nights and everything was exceptional. Everything was provided as far as cooking and sleeping comfortably. The HD LCD TV was a bonus as well as the patio that looks out on Lake Erie. All we had to do to see the wind and waves was look out the windows of the cottage. The owners even provided a boat slip for our use while were at the cottage that was located just a very short distance from the cottage. This renter knows how to take care of their customers. We were very impressed and everything exceeded our expectations. Book your next vacation at this outstanding destination. You won't be disappointed.
