Hey Tom, We're writing to thank you for sharing your Wildwood Forest Creekside Cabin with us last week. You have a beautiful place with great views in a perfect location -- easy access to everything. We all enjoyed a much needed R & R, and we all LOVED the house. We actually found another home in Wildwood for mid-July. We really wanted Creekside again or another of your properties, but we waited too long, and they are all booked in July, of course. Creekside was great, and you made it very easy. We have been coming to Highlands for over 20 years, and we definitely will book with you again. Thanks again for everything!! We definitely would love to stay there again. Best regards, Tip P.

Hi Tom, We've enjoyed another one of your beautiful homes, it's been a great week. We have hiked the last 3 days--and since tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and cooler we've decided to head back a day early. I just thought I'd let you know--in case your cleaning people can come earlier. Thanks again! Randy & Marilee G.

We are just back from a great 2 week vacation in North Carolina. Our first week at your Creekside Cabin with our children was wonderful. The house was lovely, perfectly set up for our 3 couples, and nicely located for hiking trails, waterfalls, and restaurants. Our daughter did bring her young dog who was amazingly well-behaved and fun. Thanks for providing us with a home-base. We look forward to doing it again another year. David

Hi Tom, We had a wonderful 2 week stay at your Creekside Cabin. The place was beautiful...better than your photos. It was cozy and comfortable with all the amenities of home. We cooked, barbecued and ate at many of the delicious restaurants in Highlands. Our 2 favorite restaurants were Wild Thyme Gourmet and Lakeside. The weather was beautiful with the exception of a few afternoon thunder and hail storms, never needing to use the air conditioner. Shopping was great and everyone in town was so nice and helpful. We even experienced the auction.... Jim and I would like to plan a trip sometime during the fall of next year. Hopefully this will happen. Jim and Susan
Owner response:Thank you, Susan! It was a pleasure to have y'all! Tom

I just returned home from a fabulous weekend in Highlands. I wanted to thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay. Your cabin is positively beautiful and was the perfect "home base" for our weekend full of hiking, sightseeing, and gourmet food and wine. I can't wait to come back and would most definitely first check availability at your place! Thank you once again for the lovely stay - I am going to drag my hubby back with me next time. :-) Take good care and warmest regards, Rachel

I cannot say enough about our recent stay - Creekside Cabin is elegant yet comfortable and so very convenient to downtown Highlands, yet private and peaceful. No attention to detail is spared, from the gorgeous furnishings and original artwork inside to the fabulous hot tub and 'living room' outside. I would not hesitate to book this wonderful cabin for my next mountain getaway. Creekside Cabin IS Creekside Heaven!

Visited highlands for the second time in my life with my wife and daughter and stayed in this cabin (again). The second time was as good as first and possibly better because of the expanded porch and hot-tub addition. This cabin is a considerable cut-above others with all the ammenities of home to include reliable internet, TV and phone. In fact, I would trade it for home! The setting enhances any vacation experience and regardless of the weather, the cabin is a restful interlude to one of the most beautiful spots on the east coast. We are going to aim for the winter trip next time and hopefully catch a fresh blanket of snow! I have no doubt that like the 1st two visits, the third will be a charm! I highly reommend this cabin; you will not be disappointed. John Alexandria, VA

I have stayed in homes all over the mountains, and this by far is my favorite. It has the three things I always look for, but are so hard to find all in one home. Spa on deck uncovered for stargazing. Woodburning fireplace, so cozy. Finally, location. This place is private, yet close to all the great shopping that Highlands has to offer. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the mountains.

This was our first experience renting a cabin and we had a wonderful week long stay at the Creekside Cabin in late April. The cabin is beautifully decorated and is located in a quiet community. My four year old daughter loved the cabin and did not want to go home. We look forward to returning in the future. Tom - Thank you for the dining & grocery suggestions.

Tom, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us. My husband and I had a delightful time sitting on the screened porch just reading and relaxing. We will be sure to tell our friends where to stay when looking to vacation in Highlands/Cashiers! Best, Sally

We've been vacationing in Highlands and renting houses here for years. This house is by far the nicest rental home we've ever stayed at in Highlands, NC. The house is decorated to the nines and the owner spared no expense in equipping this cabin even though it is a rental. It has the feel of someone's very nice home with flat-screens in each room, granite countertops and even antique oriental rugs.. We enjoyed our stay so much, we've recommended this house to our parents and several friends.

We enjoyed our 4-day stay at this picturesque mountain vacation home more than we can say. The gorgeous cabin (more like a home) offered us tremendous views and all the comforts that we could ever hope to have (to include flat-panel TVs and internet access and a modern kitchen). This resort cabin was truly a made-to-order vacation retreat for us that allowed rest and relaxation, jogging, fishing, fine dining, shopping, the crisp clean mountain air that only the North Carolina Highlands can offer. We had dinner every night on the spacious screened-in porch and watched really nice sunsets to the west. We have stayed at several cabins in the Highlands yet this one offered us upgrades over others; it is beautifully decorated. By far, this was the best! We loved it and hope to go back!

We stayed at Creekside Cabin this past August and had a fabulous stay. The views of Shortoff Mountain along with the gentle sounds from the adjoining brook made for the most relaxing 4 days we've had in a long time. The attention to detail was amazing. Thanks Tom!
