Enjoy a getaway vacation in this wonderfully decorated cottage. This house has been fully renovated and professionally decorated by Velvet Cabbage in a relaxing cottage style. You will be amazed by the before and after pictures. The entire furnishings are for sale by Velvet Cabbage. The queen-size beds are two side independent air adjustable beds (by Anderson Beds), so you can set it to the way you like your bed.
The back-deck overlooks Church Lake and connects into the large Tsala Apopka Lake system. If you love to fish, then you will be in your element. There is a small dock that can accommodate a bass boat or other small boat. The "Rails to Trails" bike path is only 100 feet from the driveway where you can walk or bicycle the entire 42 mile trail. There are bikes available for your use. The cottage sits on one acre and provides a quiet and secluded escape.
This is a natures getaway where you can bird watch and enjoy all the other wild life that abounds in this area. Homosassa and Crystal River are close by for more wild life viewing. There is nothing better than sitting on the deck and listening to natures orchestra that plays every night from the lake.
The house is located one hour from Disney World and one and a half hours from Tampa. It is close enough to the Florida attractions but away from the traffic and crowds. There are numerous golf courses located nearby and including some championship courses.
This is the perfect place for a week or a month. Ask about a monthly rental discount; escape the cold winter and come to Florida for much less than a hotel room.

We had a wonderful stay here in this lovely cottage. As soon as we walked in the decor left us absolutely breathless. The color palette was very relaxing and soothing. The backyard deck was amazing. We kayaked through Church Lake and enjoyed the biking trails. We spotted some deer along the trails too! We explored the town and found that the locals were very pleasant. We went to a few antique stores and thrift shops and had great lunches in town :) We even built an awesome bonfire!! Although there were many entertaining things to do throughout the town, we always loved coming back to the cottage. We felt really at home here. It's truly been a romantic, rustic, adventerous experience. So unlike everything in Miami. Can't wait to come back!

We live just seconds from the Chesapeake Bay, but after a few days on the water here.....we are sold!! It has been very majestic for us as we enjoyed family, friends, fishing and the scenery. Everything from the weather to the ripening of all the citrus fruits seemed to fall right in line for us, and in combination with the marvelous cottage, have created a family memory that will be cherished for generations. Thank you.

Wonderful getaway! Our family had a very relaxing time! My children loved exploring the property. The really like the bike trai! We visited the local pool (it was very clean & cheap and at a very cool park). The phone number is 352-726-1995 We had so much fun in the evenings building campfires. We made popcorn, roasted hotdogs and marshmallows! We did not have any luck fishing, but that might have had more to do with our lack of skill than location. :) We saw lots of wildlife including a baby gator that visited us every evening, snakes and more! The house was very comfortable. We had a great time!

Two days prior to our arrival in Floral City, our house in south Florida was flooded with about 18 inches of water. We left everything in God's hands and come to the Hamiltons hopeing for some needed rest and relaxation. We were not disappointed. We had a great time! This place is so cozy and relaxing. It was a perfect Thanksgiving getaway from the hectic pace in Atlanta. We tried to find some gators and racoons, but I think they are headed out for the winter! The kayak was a blast. Maybe next time we'll take it out on the big lake. Thanks for making this place so comfortable. Hope to come back again.
