This beach home is used by our family often and we spend a lot of time and money making improvements so that it will be one of the nicest in Ocean Creek. UPDATES IN 2006-2007 INCLUDE: mirrored family room wall panels; new artwork; new carpeting; new master bedroom mattress/boxsprings; new queen bedroom mattress/boxsprings; new paint, wallpaper, light fixtures, drapes and bedding ensembles throughout; new flat screen TVs; new lamps; new dining room chairs; new deck furniture; new heat/air conditioning unit; new water heater; new disposal; two new DVD players.
We have tried to anticipate your every need. You will find a fully stocked kitchen, with coffee maker, microwave, ice maker, blender, mixer, dishwasher and more, wet bar, 4 cable TVs with HBO, 2 DVDs, CD player, and washer and dryer.
Sliding glass doors open from the living room and the master bedroom to the large private balcony where we invite you to relax for hours while enjoying the view and soothing ocean sounds. The master bedroom has a new king mattress, TV and DVD, large private bath with double sinks. A second bedroom has a queen bed, TV and direct access to the spacious guest bath. A third bedroom has twin beds and its own private bath.
The living room has a queen pullout sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman, digital flatscreen TV and DVD. The dining room comfortably seats six. Enjoy the various games and cards we have provided for adults and kids. Of course the condo includes central air, cable (2 free HBO channels), phone, iron, ironing board, dust buster, vacuum cleaner, linens, towels and departure cleaning. There is ample covered and uncovered parking near the three new tower elevators.
The Condominium is located on the 4th floor in the oceanfront South Tower of the nationally acclaimed 57 acre Ocean Creek Plantation Resort. Adjacent to the pristine and undeveloped shores of beautiful single family development, Briarcliffe Acres, our unit offers a magical tranquility, with spectacular views of the beaches and the tidal ocean creek. Visit us and you will see why Ocean Creek is considered one of the finest resorts on the Grand Strand and why it was voted "America’s Best Family Beach" by the Discovery Travel Channel.
The South Tower includes its own private indoor and outdoor swimming pool and hot tub - great for year-round use! A short walk across the creek bridge leads to the Beach Club with a large oceanfront pool, kiddie pool, multi-level decks and gazebo, playground with play structure, volleyball and, horseshoes, and the Cabana, a full bar and grill. You may also enjoy the miles and miles of undisturbed white sandy beaches. Lifeguards are present Memorial Day through Labor Day on the beach where umbrellas with two chairs can be rented.
Crabbing, fishing, and frolicking have not scared away the egrets and herons that frequent the tidal creek and add to the natural beauty of this unique resort. Great shelling and tubing in the tidal creek provide even more fun. And between the North and South Towers, ducks and turtles swim in the pond waiting to be fed!
Ocean Creek is a private gated resort with 24 hour security. Additional on-site amenities include a second larger indoor pool and jacuzzi, six outdoor pools, putting green, business center, fitness center, game room, tennis center with seven lighted courts including two clay ones, the fabulous Four Seasons Restaurant and Lounge, nature trail, and bicycle path.
Barefoot Landing is directly across from the entrance to Ocean Creek and features over 100 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues such as the House of Blues and Alabama Theater, as well as Alligator Adventure, a popular destination for children. The shops are located directly beside the inter-coastal waterway which provides a beautiful setting.
Also located just south of Ocean Creek is Tanger Outlets which boasts stores such as Polo, Ann Taylor Loft, Gap, Guess, Coach, and more. Golf is available at over 100 championship courses nearby. Finally we are only minutes away from Broadway at the Beach, the infamous Ripley's Aquarium, IMAX Theatre, Carolina Opry, the Dixie Stampede, Myrtle Waves Water Park, and the new Hard Rock Amusement Park.
