"SEA CABIN" On the Beach side of 30-A, Sea Cabin is a charming and delightfully decorated Nautical Cottage in the popular community of 'Old Florida Cottages'. Sea Cabin has 3 Bedroom Suites, each with its own bath and Private Porch for Maximum Privacy. FREE long distance calling to Canada and the U.S., Free Wireless Internet, and cable TV.
A 1st FLOOR Guest Bedroom and bath with a Queen-size bed and private porch is conveniently located just down the hall from the great room. In the great room is a full size Sofa Bed for extra guests, and an Entertainment Center housing TV/VCR and DVD/CD player. Counter seating and dining table seats 10 people for dining. A large storage pantry and fully furnished kitchen provide a home away from home cooking experience.
On the 2nd FLOOR, the Master Bedroom porch overlooks the pool and cabana, tropical landscape, winding brick walkways, trellises and gazebos of the cottage community.
A large closet area, Separate bathtub and shower, and Queen bed, TV/VCR, and reading corner complete the master suite.
The 2nd FLOOR also includes a Guest room with 1 set of bunk beds and a double bed, its own bath and private porch. In the hall there is a conveniently located full sized Washer and Dryer enclosed laundry area.
Only a short 200 yard stroll (no roads to cross ) will bring you to the most beautiful white sand beach and emerald waters of the whole Gulf Coast. There are covered picnic tables, restrooms and parking available at the beach access, if needed.
After a day at the beach, let the kids play on the green, relax at the pool with your family and friends, and cook some seafood or steaks on the conveniently located gas grill next to the pool, or curl up with a good book from our collection.
Seaside and Grayton Beach, with many quaint shops and excellent restaurants are close by. You can walk to Goatfeathers Restaurant, to eat or purchase fresh seafood to cook. The trendy shops at Gulf Place, the free concerts on the green, Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor, Smiling Fish Cafe, Tango and other restaurants are within walking distance and easily accessed by the new walking and bike path. It is only a short drive to the Silver Sands Outlet Mall and the new Grande Boulevard on HWY 98, with Publix grocery market and many upscale shops for shopping and dining.

The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
We love to walk to Goatfeathers and buy fresh shrimp from the ground floor seafood shop, have them steamed and bring them home, toss a salad and have a shrimp feast! The restaurant is great, too, and so convenient. And the outlet mall is only about 15 minutes away and a favorite for shopping.
Rent a bike from the shop at Gulf Place, or stop in for a treat of ice cream or pastries and coffee at Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor. Lunch at Smiling Fish Cafe is always special, all at Gulf Place, within walking distance!
One of the favorite things about our house is that every bedroom has its own private porch, and you can get away with a good book or quiet moments alone after an activity filled day.

This is where we access the beach. It is a public access, but is off 30-A and is not really crowded. It is about a 3-5 minute walk from Old Florida Cottages.
New Airport opened in 2010. It is about 40 minutes from Old Florida Cottages. Southwest Airlines plus other airlines service the airport.

We stayed at Sea Cabin the last week of July, and brought exactly 8 people, my Wife and I, 4 boys and two girls. This place fit us perfectly with it's master bedroom, queen bedroom, and two bunk bed room. Each room has an en suite bathroom, as well as a porch/deck off each bedroom. The pictures don't really do this property justice, as the trees on the property have all grown, and in the case of the master bedroom, provide lot's of shade, and privacy for the porch off the master. My wife and I spent an hour every morning on this quiet porch with two Adirondack chairs, sipping coffee and surfing the internet on out laptops. The kitchen/living area is fully equipped. The kitchen has every utensil you will need, and the living area has a nice LCD TV with a DVD player so the kids can settle down to a movie in the evening. The deck off the living area (yes that is a total of 4 decks!) has plenty of room for storing your beach items, and the shower is right there as well. The pool is right outside the back deck, along with two gas grills. We cooked out two night, and it was nice to meet other people in the complex as they were cooking. The walk to the beach is very short, around a block, and with minimal parking at this access point, the beach is not too crowded. Sea Cabin has lot's of information about local activities, and there is plenty to do if hanging at the beach is not all you want to do. We went to the Outlets, Pensacola NAS Naval Museum, Margaritaville in Panama Beach, and the kids went to most of the water/game parks in Destin. Always a treat is going to Red Bar down the road in Grayton Beach. It was packed Friday night, but the food is awesome, and the jazz really good. The owner was very responsive to our inquiry, and promptly responded to our questions, and the unit is exactly as advertised. I highly recommend Sea Cabin for a quiet relaxing vacation.

Myhusband and I had a great time staying at Sea Cabin. The house was as advertised, very clean and beautifully decorated. The owners were friendly and helpful. Bicycling 30A bike path was fun and enjoyed all the little art shops.

Sea Cabin was just as we had expected. Great location, wonderful pool, close to the beach, and lots of friendly people. The cabin had everything we needed. In fact, we had never stayed in as much as we did at this location. Our girls, 12, 8 and 6 loved it too. We rented bikes and enjoyed the adventures. We plan to go back. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

May 21-28, 2005. We had the most wonderful vacation here!! We loved Santa Rosa Beach and Sea Cabin! This was our son's first real beach experience - he's two and had a blast playing in the sand - and having the pool right outside was wonderful! You guys really thought of everything to make your guests comfortable! We did not want for anything! We'll be back next year!

This was our 2nd trip to Sea Cabin and we had such a great time... Sea Cabin is a perfect place to spend a vacation - great layout, nicely furnished, pool and close to an amazing beach. We plan on making this a habit.
