My husband and I spent a week at Attico ROSA and it wasn't enough time. The apartment was bright and cheerful with everyhing we could possibly want including jacuzzi, computer, printer and fax. The Parello family were the greatest. Guiseppe couldn't have been a more gracious host. Mama Rosa's cooking-THE BEST. The local shops were very convenient- beach is within walking distance. Tropea and Taormina are a must for nearby day trips. We definitely plan to come back, only a little bit later in year. Joseph and Carol Costello

"Well, were can I start. Me, my boyfriend my sister and 3 Friends of ours (and one of my friends 5 year old son) stayed at Attico Rosa for two weeks in July. We really had a wonderfull time. The House was great, big and we had about everything we desired. We also had the chance to go to the beach everyday since Attico Rosa is only a tiny walk away from the Beach... Also the stores were located very close to the House. And our hosts, the Parello family were such wonderfull and nice people. They made us feel really comfortable. We thank them so much for everything. We had a great stay at Attico Rosa. The next time we're in calabria, we'd be glad to stay at Attico Rosa again. Where do I begin?!?!? My friend and I spent a week in Attico Rosa, from September 24 to October 1., 2005. Mama and Papa were the most wonderful people we had the opportunity to meet. They treated us like their daughters. Mama was an amazing cook and Papa was a wealth of information. The apartment is gorgous and had everything we could possible wand or need. It is situated in a very good location - to the beach, stores, church and local shopping. Mama and Papa's ons (Fidele and Joseph) eve drove us to the train station on our day of departure! Joseph drove us to Sicily at his own expense. The little touches of hopsitality and kindnes will be never be forgotten. I can not recommed Attico Rosa strongly enough. We have full intention of going back there next year and we are looking forward to our stay once again at Attico Rosa. If ever someone is going to Southern Italy, do yourself a favour and book your time at Attico Rosa, you won't regret it.

If you read my comment in 2005 saying how much I loved Attico Rosa and Gioia Tauro this will cement my earlier comments. I returned to Attico Rosa in September 2006. Unfortunately my friend was unable to return with me, but I brought a different friend who LOVED it equally as much. Once again Mama and Papa were host/hostess extraordinaire. Also I couldn't believe how the people of Gioia Tauro remembered us and treated us like long lost relatives. The apartment was exactly the way I remembered it and I am definetely planning another trip this year and guess where I will be staying?!? that's right Attico Rosa. For good food, wonderful people and a great place to visit do yourself a favour go to Calabria, stay at Gioia Tauro and ENJOY!

Excellent choice. Moma Rosa & Papa Guiseppe were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for us to make sure our stay at the Attico was comfortable. It was like being at home especially Moma's homecooked "Fish" dinner-perfecto. Convenient location for day trips to Tropea,Vibo,Scilla,Reggio and Sicily. Our only problem-we didn't have enough time to sit around and enjoy the city of Gioia. Highly recommend you see Calabria now before it becomes another Tuscany. Especially we highly recommend you use Attico Rosa. The Salvatori Family, Hamilton,ON Canada

We stayed at Attico Rosa for a week in July 2005. Our stay was great! The apartment was very spacious. It was filled with light, had three good sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms plus two outside proches. The family had thought of every amenity to make our stay a very pleasant one. They were very warm and friendly, treating us like family; especially Giuseppe who went out of his way to help us since we spoke no Italian. We really enjoyed meeting all of them. They were wonderful and made our vacation an exceptional experience. In addition, Attico Rosa, because of its central location on the coast of the province makes a great base from which to explore the rest of Calabria.
