Located in the heart of Saint-Germain des Prés, this vacation rental benefits from an ideal spot. There, you will reside in the center of Paris a few meters away from the Seine river, the Orsay museum and only 10 minutes walk from the glass pyramid - entrance of the Louvre museum. Ideal to walk your way around Paris without wasting time in transports ! Furthermore, one can’t talk about Saint-Germain des Prés, a charming village in the heart of Paris without mentioning its cultural and intellectual background such as Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Luc Godard or even François Truffaut who have contributed in making the area famous along with the well known bars café Les Deux Margots, Café de Flore or la brasserie Lipp (only 500 meters away from the flat).
Central and easily accessible with public transports (underground line 4, 10 or 12 and RER, only 5 minutes walk to the apartment), the area is full of restaurants, bars and cafés to live like true Parisians. To buy your groceries, you will find a big supermarket (300 meters away) open 7D/7 until 11pm, several bakeries (200 meters away), several good wine shops but also the massive Saint-Germain market (500 meters away) along with the famous Ladurée store where you will taste wonderful macaroons.
Former Palace of the Kings of France, the Louvre was transformed into a museum at the Revolution. Over the centuries, the Louvre has become one of the largest Museum over the world.
The Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral was built between the 12th and 14th centuries. It is a masterpiece of the gothic architecture.
The Eiffel Tower was built for the 1889 Universal Exhibition. After two centuries it became the most visited paying tourist site in the world. It is the symbol of France and Paris around the world.
Open from Monday to Saturday until 22:00 and Sunday morning until 13:00, this supermarket is an very good address for shopping at any hour of the day at very reasonable prices.
This baker offers a variety of breads: baguette tradition, ficelle or even leavened ball. On the pastries’ side you will find the traditional French pastries (croissant, pain au chocolate, etc.).
Opened in 1887, the Cafe de Flore is a must-see place of the Saint-Germain quarter. With its sunny terrace this cafe is a unique place for a drink with friends.
Held by warm and friendly Sicilians, the Cesar pizzeria is an Italian restaurant with generous cuisine and relaxed atmosphere. Do not miss the famous and tasteful Caesar pizza or the house bruschetta.
