We had the pleasure of staying for a full month last summer in Jeremy's home. Neither he nor Rachel could have been more gracious throughout our stay. Ideally located, kid-friendly, well-equipped - we had fun every day! La Jolla is a terrific place, and a great place to take it all in is at this house. THANK YOU!

I know my question as our week at Jeremy's house ended was, "Do we really have to leave?" There is a welcoming feeling to the house as you come in the door.....it is open, airy and very inviting. We used the deck and patio all the time. After a day in the village, the Sunday Market, the beaches, or The San Diego Zoo, we always found our way back to the patio and the lure of a very beautiful firepit. And of course, we loved the views and sounds of the ocean from the house and the deck. The beach is literally a few steps away. We are among Jeremy's guests who will be returning.

Love this vintage beach house! The location is really close to the water and we could hear the ocean from the house. The house is great and very comfortable. We loved the patio area and fire pit where we dined al fresco and sipped wine after dinner by the fire. We would walk down to the beach for the sunset most evenings too. The locals come here to surf it seems and it's fun to watch them do their thing. It is so easy just to kick back at the beach and at the house but there is lots to do in the area. We took surf lessons through Surf Diva which I would recommend. There are companies that are leading groups kayaking to the coves, diving expeditions and not to mention the things for the kiddies like Legoland, Seaworld, etc. Jeremy was super nice and we really appreciated him opening up his private home to us. We hope to return again next summer with the family.

Our family of 4 loved Jeremy's beach house. The location was great, so close to the beautiful beaches of La Jolla and eveything else. We walked to the farmers market on Sunday and it was incredible! Being from Michigan, we especially enjoyed the firepit and had some great s'more roasts in the evening while listening to the ocean. We hope we can come back again for a visit and would highly recommend this house to all.

MY FAMILY AND I STAYED HERE IN JUNE OF 2010. IT WAS EVERYTHING IT SAID IT WAS PLUS MORE. THE OWNER WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING. THE HOUSE WAS SPOTLESS AND VERY COMFORTABLE. I FELT VERY SAFE HERE AND WE HAD TWO FIVE YEAR OLDS WITH US THAT ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT IT. THE BEACH REALLY IS JUST ACROSS THE STREET. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE. WE MADE SO MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES HERE AS A FAMILY. I CAN NOT WAIT TO RETURN!!!!!

My family of 5 stayed at Jeremy's house in March 2010. We had a fantastic week! The girls (age 7 and 9) loved being able to walk to the beach across the street in play in the tidepools. The beach in front is terrific, not too crowded, and very beautiful. My father (age 68) loved sitting on the deck and looking at the ocean every afternoon and evening. I really enjoyed having wine by the outdoor firepit every night. Jeremy, the owner, made the stay very memorable. He was helpful with tips and genuinely cared about how my family enjoyed his home. He clearly cares a lot about his home. The location was fabulous also. We walked to La Jolla Village for dinner, and we walked to the beach - we walked everywhere, except for our day trip to Sea World - which was great too.

I love this house! it seems to wrap its arms around you with a sunny, happy feel and perfect layout. It is easy to live in, a great living room with wonderful view; nice kitchen; sleep in MBR to sound of waves. Just loved the deck! And we could walk everywhere--to the beach (just across the street), into town, to food shopping, yoghurt--or get there in the car in a short drive if we were too tired from playing in the sand. Not pretentious, just clean and friendly and wonderful.

Our family had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. It was very comfortable inside and outside. It is located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood that is very kid friendly. We had easy access to the beach and tide pools. Our kids loved the marine life and bike paths. We even had our grandparents with us. They loved the deck, the view, and friendly neighbors. This was not the first home that we have rented in the San Diego area, but it is the first that we hope to vacation in again!

Our family had a terrific experience. The house has wonderful outdoor patio where we spent all of our time. The house is open and bright and has a great character. The neighborhood is also wonderful and the promimity to the beach really made the vacation free and easy for our family with children. I owner could not have been nicer or more helpful. Definitely a great experience.

This house is AMAZING! Great open rooms, cheerful colors, comfortable furniture -- perfect for getting away from it all. Being from Hawaii, I was surprised to find out how much I liked the little beach right in front of the house. There is a little break right out in front with very respectable left and the outdoor shower makes coming in from the beach (even with little ones!) a snap. I know I will definitely be back!

What a terrific beach home!! We stayed at the beach house for one week, but wanted to stay for one month! The location of the house, and its comfortable feel, made the trip memorable. Nothing could be more convenient than walking right out the front door to the beach and retreating back to the house at the end of the day, only to walk back down to the beach to have a glass of wine for sunset. The house is very clean and the owner clearly cared a lot about our experience, as he continually went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of.

We had a great time this past 4th of July renting this house! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!! We brought our family and really appreciated the convenience of 50 steps to the short path to the sand for us and the kids!!! The house was clean and had a great courtyard that we ate every meal at! (we're from Phoenix, can you blame us for eating outside when we can?) We loved the sound of the Ocean and the cool breezes while we slept too! Less than a mile from shopping and fine dining in the cove, we would stay here again! There are lots of new features in the house and it seems like the owners are continuously improving it as well.
