We loved staying at the home, it is so wonderfully set up and the view of the bay right outside the door was amazing, We enjoyed or daily treks on the sand (which is great sand for sand castles by the way!). The home is filled with charming surroundings and the bridge views at night are great (the bridge has lights). We wish we could have stayed longer and plan a return next year with other family. We give the Red Door 11 out of 10 and it is also very close to the downtown only seconds away walking, a nice unexpected perk!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

red door house was a great place. Very comfy. great bedrooms and bath. Location was perfect for crabbing and clamming. We travel often, this was one of our top pick rentals.recommend hot tub.

Our entire family LOVED The Red Door House! We had a great time and ALL of us were very comfortable in this beautiful and very well stocked and maintained home. Our kiddos had fun playing in the sand during low tide and wading in the bay. Having a fire right on our beach was a wonderful perk! We would definitley love to come back to The Red Door House again someday to make it tradition for our extended family get togethers! Thank you so much for this beautiful jewel.

We went for a weekend in February 2005 and had such a great time that we are booking again for spring 2006. This house was the perfect set-up for hour entire family. I love that each room has a private bath. That sure helps with so many people getting ready at the same time. The furnishings were much nicer than i would have expected for this price. This house is truly a gem! Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

This house is absolutely a wonderful place to stay for a weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and found it to be extremely comfortable. The only thing we found missing was a hot tub--that would truly make it perfect--a nice long soak after a great day of crabbing....

Our weekend at the Red Door House demonstrated that a weekend on the coast, in a beautifully decorated and comfortable home, is a fabulous getaway. Our group enjoyed the large communal areas for visiting; especially the large kitchen, with ample room to share cooking duties. Each couple had a very private bedroom accomodation. We can't wait to visit again--- but the next time we will bring the children and grandchildren! The "apartment" area is an excellent setup for visitors with small ones---a great space for mini meals and child's play. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable.

After staying in the Red Door House it calls me back! It is located on the bay with an amazing view, but just a block from stores and downtown. The beds are comfortable and the house is very well supplied - a home away from home. It is definitely my favorite place to visit and relax on the coast! Polly, Dexter, OR

I love the Red Door House! It is so beautifull and relaxing. The veiw out to the bay is spectacular and always changing with the tides. I can't wait to go back!
