    First I will say that Elena was a delight to deal with! I used to own a cabin on the South Shore & have rented many in the years since. Not only was she wonderful, but it was one of the best homes we've stayed in. Very cozy, the hot tub was amazing, the location was perfect and it was exceptionally clean!! Thanks Elena, we plan to be repeat visitors to your beautiful home!!

    Three of my cousins and myself recently spent 3 days and 4 nights in your very accommodating Tahoe City house. It was a perfect place for us to gather for a delightful ' family catch-up' time. The house was clean, spacious, easy to navigate, furnishings adequate and the kitchen provided with all the most needed cooking and eating utensils. Another important plus (for us seniors) was comfortable beds with each of us having our own bedroom. The weather was great so the lovely back patio/deck was a perfect place to start and end the day. Location of the house was optimum, a quiet street yet close enough to town so we could get there easily. I would definitely try to stay there again should another opportunity to visit the area present itself and will recommend the house to any friend or relative looking for a nice, comfortable place to vacation in a lovely, quiet wooded area.

    Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

    This nice cabin is conveniently located in North Tahoe. (so we avoided majority of the difficult mountainous roads, pretty much right off of I-80.) Close to Squaw Valley and town center. The bonus room was very kid friendly and my 6 yo finally had her first slumber party. The place is big enough to accommodate 6 adults and 3 children. Lastly, nothing beats a bottle of wine in the outdoor jacuzzi after a day in the snow!

    Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

    We had a wonderful time during a short mid-week trip to Tahoe. The house was very well kept, spacious, well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. The roads to the house were well plowed which was a plus! The proximity to Tahoe City is a bonus as well as it is easy to get into town and to nearby ski resorts. A pizza delivery even came to the house because it is relatively close to town. The hot tub was perfect even in the cold weather. We look forward to another trip.

    My family and I stayed here for three nights. It was a very nice and comfortable place to stay! The beds were very comfortable, we enjoyed the hot tub and the nice fenced in backyard! It was close to town and resteraunts. We ate at the River Grill, very nice and good food! We also ate The Fire Sign, great place for breakfast! I would like to note that for anyone with little ones, there is a pack and play in a box in the garage. I wish that I had known it was there, it would have saved me from bringing mine. Very nice and convenient to have one already there! :) There are some kids toys, movies, games and books as well.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

    This house was absolutely lovely! Next time we will definitely be staying more than 3 nights. It is very close to two grocery stores and a bunch of cute little cafe's. The hot tub is a great way to unwind at any time of the day, especially after a long massage chair. Overall it was a very peaceful and memorable stay.

    We loved the house. The location is excellent - close to town and the ski slopes. The bedrooms are big, kitchen and bathrooms are nice, hot tub is nestled in tall pine trees. We were two families with three kids total, and there was more than enough room (one bedroom was still empty). The house is charming and spacious, and the garage is an excellent feature because you don't have to shovel out the car in the morning. We will definitely go back.

    I had a great time staying at this house last weekend. It was close to several major resorts, which was great for groups of 8 adults. Also, the house was priced affordably, considering the nice fireplace and hot tub. I will definitely check this house's availability for the next Tahoe trip I plan!

    The house was clean and comfortable for our group of 6 (including our 2 year old). It was my brother's first time to see Lake Tahoe & staying by the lake made his visit even more special! We found 2 family friendly restaurants nearby- The Bridgetender and Rosie's Cafe-yum! The process was painless and very well organized-we hope to stay there again!

    Elena, Your home provided us a well needed rest and respite from our busy lives. We had a wonderful time in Tahoe, largely due to your beautiful and spacious home. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable that we both overslept. I can't remember when I had such a great night's sleep. I plan to purchase a bed just like it for home. I look forward to a return trip and thank you again for your flexibility at the last minute. You and your home are gems!!

    Thank you! The house was great, perfect location, perfect amenities, comfy beds...had everything we needed, lots of space too. Great hot tub and bbq. We could not have asked for a better location, 1 mile to town, 1 mile to Sunnyside, and a few blocks walk to the free shuttle that can take you to North Shore or Emerald Bay. What a great 4th of July weekend, we cant wait to rent again. Thank you Elena!

    We had a great stay at the house - it was very well equipped, nicely furnished, and in a great location. The house was spacious enough for two families to comfortably sleep and hang out. The renting process was seamless. We would definitely stay here again.

    Elena, We had a wonderful time visiting Lake Tahoe. We throughly enjoyed your home and all of its ammenities. It was located close enough to local attractions, yet far enough away to feel as if we weren't anywhere near a busy area. The house was very clean, and the upkeep was excellent.

    This was a fabulous place to stay! Near enough to grab groceries at Albertson's in Tahoe City, but far enough from the highway to be nice and quiet! Everything was ready "on time" and ready to go! This place has everything on my checklist: Hot tub, Grill, and a Fireplace. Next trip to Tahoe, I'll be sure to try to get this place again!

    We had a great weekend at your cabin and we absolutely want to come back soon. We had 8 adults and plenty of room. Everyone commented on what a great cabin we found - in the perfect location! As the “organizer”, I was really happy to see the living room was such an open space. We had plenty of room for some of the guys to watch tv (sports, of course!) and still plenty of room for the rest of us to comfortably hang out in the fireplace area or sit around the kitchen table with drinks or games. The hot tub was a huge bonus and such a great way to relax after a long day on the slopes. Thank you for sending great driving directions and details.     Our stay at the house was wonderful. Everything was comfortable and very clean. The massage chair and hot tub worked perfectly for sore muscles after a day on the slopes. We actually spent the day stealing the massage chair from each other! The beds were especially comfortable. The owner is fantastic and friendly.

    The house was absolutely perfect. It is very spacious and the kitchen is well-equipped. The hot tub was great after the long drive as well as the massage chair.     Your house was perfect! Everything was new and superclean. The hot tub worked great and the backyard was very quiet with lots of space. The beds were super comfortable with great down comforters. We loved going to the coffee house in the morning; a short walk. Tahoe City is within walking distance where you can rent bikes or connect with other activities such as river rafting. The hot water heater always had hot water for us and the new TV was perfect. Thanks for sharing your house with us and at a very reasonable rate compared to other rentals we were considering.     It is a beautiful house, very nicely furnished with everything we needed. It's close to town without being in a super busy area. The high speed internet was easy to connect to and we never had any problems with it. The house is close to lots of trails, perfect for mountain biking and hiking so we didn't even need to drive to get to trails. The hot tub and massage chair were definitely a plus after a long day of biking or hiking. It is a great vacation home. Thank you for sharing it with us!

    What a wonderful time, thank you so much. The house is in a wonderful area, beautiful trees all around and very quiet. We really enjoyed the backyard. Sitting on the patio looking up at the beautiful trees against the blue sky as the breeze rustled the branches was so calming. The hot tub, the barbeque, the quiet. Relaxation was my priority for this vacation and this house delivered!!! The house was very clean and comfortable. All the beds were cozy with great linens and mattresses. Plenty of quality towels in the 2 nice bathrooms. The house stayed cool during the warm days and cozy warm in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed with plenty of dishes and silverware. The new dishwasher and washer and dryer made easy work of daily chores. The location is great, you are in the forest but close to anything you need. I love the Tahoe House for a great cup of coffee and goodies to make a special picnic. Albertsons just up the street for all your grocery needs, a drug and video store just a bit further up makes it very convenient. We enjoyed the newly renovated BEAUTIFUL Commons Beach often during our stay. For myself, my 78 year old mother and 16 year old daughter, we each enjoyed our time spent in your wonderful home.     Good morning Elena!! We have a FABULOUS vacation!! The house was beautiful and in great condition. It was my husband and I, our 2 year old son, our 7 week old daughter, and my 13 year old step-daughter and her friend. my sister-in-law and mother-in-law came to visit for 2 days. We went to Common's beach pretty much every day, we rented a Sea-Doo, the girls went rafting down the river, there were horseback rides, glider rides, adventure park at Squaw Valley, a date night, and a lot of time just hanging out enjoying each other's company. The house was perfect distance from town. But the house itself felt very secluded. It was so quiet and peaceful. We were so sad to go! it was the first time in a VERY long time my husband was able to take a week off work so it was nice to have so much time to spend together, all of us as a family. We had such a great time, thank you for letting us rent it out. It was awesome!! We would love to stay again and try out Tahoe in winter! Lisa

    Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely Tahoe City house. Our family of 5... including 3 young kids... was very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the tall pine trees. The location is great... a few minutes to the grocery store, and just about 10 minutes to either Alpine Meadows or Homewood for skiing. We hope to come back some time.
