  We just returned from a week in Paradise. I can't add to all the wonderful comments other than to say it is true. The villa is without a doubt the finest you could ever find to stay. We loved it last year as well, but the remodel truely blew our minds when we arrived. Thanks for sharing this great place with us. We enjoyed every moment and look forward to returning next year.

  Just spent a week at this amazing view and I can't begin to say how great a value you are getting. The view is over 180 degrees...the sunsets are literally in your backyard. There is nothing like spending a day at the beach, coming back to the villa, hoping in the pool and watching the sun set before heading out for dinner. The bedrooms were spacious and so tastefully decorated. Each room had its own flatscreen (although who wants to watch TV in St. Maarten?!) and amazing bathrooms with skylights. The housekeeper was fantastic and cared for our group so well all week. I LOVED my week at the Villa and I will definitely be back! The theme of the vacation for the week "Worth Every Penny!"

  This villa is incredible. It exceeded my expectations. It was immaculate. It is beautiful inside and out. All three of the bedrooms are very spacious with their own large, modern bathrooms. The kitchen is also large for those who want to cook inside, plus there is a new BBQ on the patio, with a table beside. The grocery store and numerous restaurants are within walking distance. The panoramic view was spectacular. You can watch the boats go by all day and evening, and listen to the sound of the surf, just below. There is lots of sun or shade, whichever you prefer, from morning until night on the lovely patio. I would highly recommend this villa. It's first class accommodation in every way. We loved this villa and hope to spend more time there next year.

  I must say that I rarely write reviews online but felt that I had to in this case. The photo's displayed on this website don't do a great job in showing the real beauty and condition of this Villa! It totally exceeded our expectations. We were a group of six professionals using this Villa as a stop off before starting a two week yearly sailing trip. Our group has stayed in many high end houses and hotels world wide. We're always nervous booking online but we were totally shocked when we open the front door of this Villa. The renovations completed were top quality and the entire villa was spotless. We had multiple visits by the caretaker Marion making sure that our needs were met and that the unit remained prestine. This unit is completely set up with all the modern comforts of home. It lacks nothing! The appliances, fixtures, furniture, beds and linens are high end! Although fully air conditioned, it's hardly necessary. Most nights we fell asleep with the sounds of crashing waves and woke up to the native birds on the pool side ledge. My only concern was getting my wife to leave and board a much smaller sail boat. Thanks to Michelle for making booking this unit a breeze and providing us with quality directions and comments about area restaurants etc. I highly recommend this Villa! We will certainly be back.

  Top 10 Reasons We LOVE this Villa: !) It is stunningly beautiful. The second we walked in the door, our jaws dropped. Bright, wide open spaces, ocean views along two walls, beautiful furniture, all-new kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms with large closets and spacious ensuites....perfect for our family of five. 2) It is very safe and very quiet. We never heard a sound -- other than the waves! -- the entire time we were there. The unit is in a small complex which is on a very quiet street, and this particular villa is well set back from the road, so there are no road sounds whatsoever. 3) The back deck -- with the private pool, large retractable awnings, super comfy all-weather wicker lounge chairs and sectional -- is where we spent much of our time. Plenty of room for everyone to relax -- either in the shade or the sun. So calming to sit on that back deck and watch the every-changing sea. Fun to watch the pelicans dive bomb for fish as well! 4) The side deck, with its huge dining table, is where we ate every single meal. Can't imagine a more lovely place to share a meal -- overlooking the ocean, with the waves crashing on the rocks below. Very comfy seating. A huge new bbq is there as well - perfect for grilling fish purchased at the Marigot fish market! 5) We started every morning with a 10 minute walk to a bakery for freshly-baked baguettes and croissants. Yum! 6) It's an easy drive from the villa to get anywhere on the island. We visited one new beach every day. 7) Everything in the villa is brand new -- so it's all in exceptional condition. You'll feel like you're staying in a private villa at a Four Seasons' resort! High-end appliances and bath fixtures. Everything works beautifully. 8) Marion, the housekeeper, is a lovely woman full of good tips on where to go on the island. 9) Although there isn't a beach right at the villa, it only takes about 5 - 10 minutes to get to a beach just down the road. We prefer it that way -- it means this ocean-front villa stays quiet and safe. 10) With three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a huge kitchen and living room, and the huge outdoor space, we never felt like we were on top of one another. Plenty of space to spread out -- either to find a quiet spot to read, or to join others around the table. All great family memories -- and that's what a holiday's really all about, isn't it

  We were at Villa Libre for 2 weeks over Thanksgiving of 2012 and we really enjoyed the new look. We had a great time and I'm sending my son and some friends for his 40th birthday in April of 2013.

  This was our second year staying at Villa Libre and we were so amazed at the makeover. It was nice enough before with the location and having a private pool, but now, we didn't even feel the need to leave the villa except for going to the market to get food to cook at the villa, as well as the occasional dinings out. Love the spacious new kitchen and the very open floor plan as well as the scenic views from every seat in the living room as well as master bedroom. We're already making plans to return again next year.

  We were the first to enjoy the New Villa Libre'! It was indeed a 3 Wow property. We stayed at Villa Libre' 2 years ago. We couldn't beleive it was the same propberty. The Villa is so much bigger with great light and air. We also enjoyed the gourmet kitcen and gas grill. The owner's have excellent taste in deacorating. The private pool and ocean view is fabulous. We would highly recommend this property.

  We just got home from a beautiful week in the villa. We thank you for the bottle of champagne – it was a real surprise and a wonderful treat – which we saved for our last night to celebrate our week in Saint Maarten. I’m sure you’ve heard all this before but…we truly enjoyed your villa, the location is perfect. We really fell in love with Marion. She is full of helpful information regarding places to eat, go, and background information on the island.   Hi Michelle, We just wanted to thank you for sharing your villa with us. We had a terrific time and the villa was great, as was Marion. We hope to return again soon. We made it to Baie Rouge and Pinel Island and took a day sail (which wasn't so great for my Dad and I) but I was happy to just hang out by the pool with its gorgeous and relaxing view.
