My friends and I recently stayed in the house for a week. We had a great time. It worked out great for us because I have a friend who can't walk up steps so she stayed downstairs and had the place to herself.Everything you need for a comfortable stay is in this house.I would reccomend this house to anyone coming to the Surfside Beach area. I have put in on my list of favorite places to stay. Thanks, Kevin

My family had a great vacation. We had all of the comforts of home, including Wi Fi which has become a necessity with the grandchildren. Kevin was very helpful in answering my questions. We would love to spend 2011 Thanksgiving here also. Kitchens were very complete and we were able to prepare Thanksgiving Dinner with help from Bi Lo which is near by. We had 11 people and it was very comfortable for all. Dogs did well on the upper deck.

We stayed here for the 4th of July holiday week. The location and vacation home were perfect for us. We had a problem with a water leak the first night we arrived but it was quickly corrected the following morning. The property owner was very responsive and personally handled everything. The inside furnishings were the best we have found in the area. The golf cart and grill were also high quality. We are looking forward to coming back in 2011! Thanks for sharing your property with us...

We had a GREAT time staying at Kevin's house in June. We really enjoyed the huge deck upstairs which was perfect for our evening family gathering for the 9 of us. Our dog Ruby enjoyed people watching from the deck, and the house dog toys kept her entertained. Nice touch! The kitchen, dining room and bar area were perfect for prep of our meals. The new Weber grill (same as mine at home) on the deck was the final touch. The L-shaped couch in the living room was the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach or golfing. Unlike some hotels, the beds were all very soft and comfortable. Having a new upscale golf care was a plus. No having to stand in line for golf cart rental at the office. The pool is a short walk down the street. We enjoyed this house and we recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place to enjoy a vacation at the beach!

Jennifer & Kevin: We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation this year. The beach house was wonderful. It was very clean and we felt at home there. Piper our Italian Greyhound really enjoyed the deck. She would sit there every evening and watch people go by. It was so quiet. You have a great place and hopefully we can stay there next year. Our extended family thoroughly enjoyed the use of this property (4 generations ages 76 years to 1 month). Paul's Mom was able to move throughout the lower level in her wheelchair. The house was very clean and there were no pet odors detected either. Thanks for the use of your home and golf cart for the week.

Jennifer was a delight to deal with. She gave us a lot of information and was always available to answer our questions. Our whole family enjoyed the place and the amenities of Oceanside Village were great for a family with young kids. The fact that our Lab, Cole, was able to come made the vacation even more enjoyable. There were even toys for her to play with while we were there. One of them she loved so much she tried to take it home with her. Thanks again!!

What a wonderful place to stay. Our schnauzers loved the porch and esp. the golf cart. The grill was great and we so enjoyed having meals and playing cards at the nice table on the deck. It was one of the nicest places we have stayed in Oceanside Village. Will return to this home again if at all possible.

Amazing, the house is beautiful, large and very clean. The gated porch is great for the dogs also, and the pet toys that Jen supplies are a great perk. The golf cart was perfect, and best of all the private beach access, parking and bathrooms afforded only to Oceanside Village residents was great. Overall we WILL be back again. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a wonderful time at this home. plenty of space, privacy and creature comforts. It's like you are staying a a friends home, and you have everything you need to relax, and the location in the communiity and surrounding area is fantastic. We would love to stay there again!

My husband and I stayed at this home for the full month of February. The home is clean and beautiful. We had our two sons and their families come down for a week and we had enough space for everyone. The house has everything you need to feel comfortable. The golf cart is a great plus. Jennifer is wonderful to deal with, and bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable. My husband used the high speed internet, to keep track of his business back home. WHAT A WONDERFUL CLEAN BEACH HOME.ALL I CAN SAY IS GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS HOME.STAYED HERE OVER XMAS AND NEW YEARS.WHAT A NICE PLACE, THE LOCATION IS QUIET BUT CLOSE TO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO.WE USED THE GRILL AND IT WORKED OUT GREAT,AND SO DID THE GULF CART.THE GATED DECK WORKS OUT WONDERFUL FOR OUR DOG.I CANT WAIT TO VISIT AGAIN.OCEANSIDE VILLAGE IS A GREAT PLACE FOR A VACATION AND THIS HOME MAKES IT GREATER!!WE HAVE STAYED IN THE VILLAGE FOR 5 YRS. My husband & I along with my parents and their 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at the McDermott's cottage. It was a very comfortable house with all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed having access to the internet and the great tv system. Also the guys really loved the new golf cart! We will be back for another visit.

We've finally found the perfect place to vacation at Surfside Beach, NC. Joel and I were thrilled to find such a nice beach house with room for our family from North Carolina to join us. The icing on the cake was that our dogs could be with us also. Sure there were other dog-friendly sites that we viewed, but Jennifer and Kevin's house really stood out as being the clean, roomy, "fun to stay at" place to be. The house location was a nice surprise too. It has a private setback that was also useful with parking. Jennifer and Kevin were genuinely interested in us having a great time at their house and made us feel very welcome. We can't wait to be able to go back and the rest of my family was just as impressed.

My husband and I purchased our beach house in July of 2005. His family built this home, and it has a lot of happy, treasured memories in it. We're happy to share our home with others, and hope they get as much enjoyment out of it as we do. We have already had several rentors, and everyone has enjoyed their stay, with lots of wonderful feedback. We welcome both suggestions for improvement and/or ideas. We have just added a beautiful new golf cart for the added enjoyment and convenience of our guests - pics will be added soon to the website! Come and enjoy our "home away from home...!"

What a great place! We vacationed with two families and this home was perfect! The teenages enjoyed their privacy downstairs and the adults enjoyed their own space upstairs. This home is so comfortable and clean! We rented a golf cart for the week as an added convenience. The location on the beach is great and the pools are very close to the house. Jennifer and Kevin are super. We would love to stay here again.

This house is a great place for a large family to enjoy the sand and water of Surfside Beach. Our family of 8 adults plus the family dog had lots of room to spread out in the top and lower units. Both units are very tastefully decorated with all the amenities of being at home. Kevin and Jennifer are great owners and a pleasure to rent from. We highly recommend their beach home for your vacation. We will be back. Brad Amrhein
