This classy old gal is nearly 100. Her generous and gracious living and dining rooms have high ceilings, crown moldings, and rich maple floors. French doors lead up the open stairs to find spacious rooms including a master with a gorgeous, four-poster, queen-size bed. The kitchen and baths are modern, fun, and fully equipped.
Decked in an eclectic style all her own she is a country gal high up on one-point-four acres secluded by trees. The open yard is complete with grill, patio and furniture, private fire pit and a HOT TUB. Catch a lake breeze while relaxing on the big front porch. The driveway has enough space for extra cars and trailers so bring your toys (Kayaks upon request).
There are many activities in the area, ROAD AMERICA racing and events, fine and casual restaurants, water sports, fishing, hiking, biking, walking and gawking, farmers and artisans markets, antiques, galleries, museums, water parks, shops, tours, deep-water fishing, and THERE IS GOLF EVERYWHERE. There are 3 Chambers of Commerse to help with additional trip planning.

MontanaDear Karen: Jean & I are back in Montana now, but I would like you to know that we really enjoyed our stay in your house. It worked out just fine, the amount of room needed was just right. We walked and ran around the lake many times and the distance was just right. Thank you so much for the opportunity. We would like to make this same trip some year during the summer months. This house is beautiful! The paint downstairs is so bright and cheery, and the bedrooms upstairs are perfect for a large family to get together! We had a great time outside, taking walks to Elkhart and roasting marshmallows at night, as well as relaxing on the wonderful porch. And of course we still had a great time when the weather wasn't so good, playing many board games on that nice dining room table. We highly recommend the Apples to Apples game- you will laugh for hours! We also went to some nice resturants and shops in Plymouth + Elkhart Lake, especially the bookstores and coffee shops. We especially liked the ice cream and mint chocolate flurries from the vintage drive-in, Chester's. We had a great time and hope to come again! Love Sara, Abi, Nancy, John, and Judy

9/26/06 9:00AM Brisk, sunny morning- just lovely- Thank God for the Internet and that I can type and "surf the web" - Been to Elkhart many times, and can truly say that the stay here at the "House on Stoney Hill" was the very best accomadation choice. It's all been said in the previous guest comments, so I will 'ditto' all the aforesaid- and I will promise to myself that I will be back to this lovely, cozy, fun, comfortable, cheery, peaceful and memorable sweet spot... Also loved being able to hear the engines from Road America for the Champs Car Grand Prix 2006, awesome! Thanks Karen for all your info and assistance.
