Solitude is a ski-in/ski-out mountain resort. It will remind you of a quaint European-styled village that lets you experience the Greatest Snow on Earth--over 500 inches of powder every year!

The condo is in the Eagle Springs West Lodge - just a two minute walk to the chair lift. The unit has a beautiful mountain view. This is a two bedroom condo - but it has a lock-off feature that allows you to split it into two one bedroom units if you wish. It's perfect for a family that wants a little extra space or for two couples traveling together--who need a little private time, too.

The main unit has a living room (with sleeper-sofa), fireplace, full kitchen, dining area, washer and dryer, full bathroom, large bedroom and a private balcony. The second unit has a private bathroom, mini-kitchen, small seating area, queen-size bed plus a sleeper-sofa. This is a non-smoking condo.

Eagle Springs West Lodge is conveniently located in the middle of Solitude Village. You have easy access to stores, ski rentals and restaurants. The Lodge has its own hot tub and you can use the adjoining heated outdoor pool. This unit includes a ski locker and underground parking!

You also have access and use of Club Solitude in the Eagle Springs East Lodge where you'll find XBox, foosball and a pool table. Watch a movie in the theater. Check-out a book or some games.

Solitude has several other nearby ski resorts. Brighton is just three miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Park City & Deer Valley, Snow Bird and Alta are just a short drive away--so you can experience many great ski areas and stay in one great place!

    • We had a fantastic time in Solitude and at this condo. The weather and skiing were great with beautiful skies and lots of snow. We skied 2 days at Brighton and 2 at Solitude. Both are great places with a wide variety of terrain for skiers of all levels. Few crowds to be found even on the weekends. This condo is in a perfect location and has all of the amenities we needed. It is very comfortable, clean, and spacious with a well-furnished kitchen, gas fireplace, 2 baths, and a balcony looking up to the slopes. We also used the Club Solitude next door for a sauna, exercise, and relaxing. We enjoyed good meals at the Creekside restaurant and Silver Fork Lodge. We made a short stop at a full grocery store on our way up from the airport and had everything we needed. The owner is very easy to work with and gave us accurate and helpful information about Solitude and the condo. You will definitely enjoy your vacation here.

Pat, Our trip to Solitude was Great! Weather wise, I don't think we could have picked a better week. It was a great week for our kids to learn to ski, and they all enjoyed it and want to return next year! Within the first couple of days we probably had 24" of snow. We did lose power Sat night around 10:30 pm for about 12 hours. (You might want to pack a flashlight or some kind of emergency lighting, when we left the condo Sun morning, the hallways were dark, as the battery powered emergency lights had run out). The condo was great. I loved the gas fireplace! A great spot to warm up after skiing. The condo really had everything we needed. It worked out great with our kids. I would not hesitate to rent your condo again and I would certainly recommend it to friends. We enjoyed skiing at Solitude because it is smaller and very family oriented. We put our 3 kids (ages 5, 7 & 9) in ski school for 5 days and that was great. I felt very comfortable, because we were never too far away. We even saw the kids occasionally during the day while they were having their lessons. The kids loved the ski school and did very well. (They have never skied before) My 2 boys (ages 7 and 9) were even able to do a black diamond by the end of the week. (It wasn't pretty, but being boys they wanted to say they did a black diamond run) All the instructors were very nice, great with kids, and accommodating. All in all it was an awesome week. It was hard to leave and come back to reality, but my kids had to go back to school! If you have any specific questions about ski school or anything else, I'll be happy to answer them. Thanks, Amy R.

Man have we skied - today was blue sky - after 25" of snow Sat - Monday. We skied from 9:00 - 5:00 at Brighton - what a neat little resort. We liked Solitude as well. A lot of different terrain. The condo was spacious and clean - beds were great. Very convenient to all that you need in the village - ski rentals, ski shop, Creekside Restaurant, lifts etc. Indoor garage parking and elevator was great. One minor thing-we did not know your combination to the ski locker-and decided not to use it-we just kept our skis in our car. The office was helpful (except when we asked them for toilet paper...) We washed our towels using the washer and dryer - that was a great plus as well. We ate twice at the Creek side - great food. Incredible skiing two days at Solitude, two days at Brighton, great condo Thanks so much for sharing it with us. Jack E.
