Welcome to Summerwind, an island beach cottage located approximately 22 miles from historic Charleston on Seabrook Island and adjacent to Kiawah Island. Seabrook Island is a private, gated, semi-tropical island with beautiful, uncrowded beaches, marshes and lush wooded areas. Enjoy golfing, tennis, swimming, shelling, fishing, biking, crabbing, horseback riding, dolphin watching or relaxing on the beach or at one of the pools.
Seabrook Island is a great place for active people. There is little traffic and the speed limit of 25 mph is strictly enforced for your safety. The beaches are just unbelievable -- we describe Seabrook Island to friends as a "tropical paradise" and we think you will too!
The North Beach and Seabrook Island Club Beach are great spots to spend your days when you are not engaged in the many activities available. The Seabrook Island Club offers 3 pools including a heated pool for cooler weather, beautiful oceanfront deck with cabannas, lounge chairs and uncrowded beach. The oceanfront Pelican Nest offers casual dining for beachgoers. The North Beach provides a serene and quiet spot to spend your days on Seabrook Island beaches. In the evening, walk the half mile to the Pelican Watch beach to enjoy spectacular sunsets while watching the shrimp boats return where the Edisto River and the ocean meet. This tropical paradise is often described as "heaven on earth". The Seabrook Island Club offers additional dining options at Bohicket Lounge and The Island House located adjacent to the golf course. Reservations are recommended.
Our Summerwind Cottage is set-up nicely for families, golfers or couples! Decorated in an island theme, our cottage is the perfect getaway. The master bedroom is located on one side of the cottage with a large living room/dining area in the center of the cottage. The two additional bedrooms are on the other side of the cottage with a door into the living area, allowing for privacy.

Our membership to The Seabrook Island Club will allow your purchase of an amenity card for priviledges to The Seabrook Island Club and all amenities.
