Gulf Pines is a residential community located off Sanibel-Captiva Road. Our home is located in Gulf Pines on Old Banyan Way. We are just steps away from a small heated community pool and barbecue grills. It is a short walk or bicycle ride to another community heated pool, clubhouse, and tennis courts. We are approximately three blocks from a short, private walkway to the most beautiful and private beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Shelling there is the best on the island. We have beach chairs, beach towels, and a beach umbrella to make your days on the beach carefree.
Our home is on a large tropical lot with plenty of privacy and has been professionally decorated in West Indies style. All rooms have ceiling fans, even the lower level outside porch. The master bedroom is large with a beautiful lake view and opens to the screened porch by sliding glass doors as does the great room. Each bedroom has a 33in LCD HD TV. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. We have three LCD and one 42 inch Plasma TV with high definition full comcast programing with a total of five in the home. We have recently added a Blue Ray High Def DVD player. The master bath has a double vanity dressing area and a large walk-in double shower. The second bath has a tub/shower and large vanity sink with mirror. We also have a lower, open deck overlooking a beautiful lake with abundant wildlife from Ibis, Great Herons to alligators. The lower deck also has a partially enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water. We have an elevator from the two-car garage to the main level of the house.The elevator makes this house handicap accessible for wheelchairs. The kitchen offers new GE Profile appliances,microwave, and convection ovens, cook top, dishwasher, as well as a GE Monogram Refrigerator with ice maker, crushed ice, and ice water on the door.The kitchen has all corion counter tops.We have added free long distance from our home phone and WIFI internet. We have a two car garage with six new bikes and helmets to tour the 23 miles of bike trails on Sanibel Island. We have a small library of books from birds of the island and shelling to fiction and non-fiction.
