This is the perfect home to escape from reality. This Bridgehampton traditional home is bright open and spacious. The home borders both Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor and is minutes from Southampton. It features a large great room for entertaining that opens out to a spacious deck with a grill overlooking a heated pool. The kitchen area is an open layout featuring bar and SubZero refrigerator.
The pool is surrounded by a large brick paver deck perfect for sunbathing or just hanging out. Adjacent to the pool is an outdoor shower. On the side of the property is a 30' x 35' basketball court (about a half court). The court was professionally installed, painted, and is lined to NCAA rules.
This home features five bedrooms and three full bathrooms.
The living room and formal dining area has a cathedral ceiling, a fireplace, and large, high windows. It opens to a huge, wrap around deck that overlooks a pool with outdoor dining area, adirondack chairs, a barbeque, and a state of the art hot tub. The adjoining kitchen is fully-equipped, has a spacious indoor dining area and also opens to the deck overlooking the pool.
There is also a charming front porch perfect for reading or just relaxing. In addition, the first floor contains one bedroom with a queen bed that opens up to the pool area, one bedroom with two twins, the office with a pullout bed and two full bathrooms. There is also a laundry room and the computer equipped with a large flat screen and high speed cable internet so keeping up with your emails will be a breeze.
On the second level, there is a huge master bedroom suite with a king-size bed. The master bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi and has double sinks and an enclosed shower/steam room. The house has central air, a wood burning fireplace, gas barbecue, four TVs all with cable, DVD player, CD player and a stereo with built in speakers throughout the house and outside on the deck. The main room has a 50" Hi Definition TV which is perfect for sports and movies.
The house is centrally located in the Hamptons, convenient to everything. It is less than five minutes from ocean beaches and downtown Bridgehampton and just as close to Sag Harbor which has great restaurants, antique shops, a spa, trendy shops, and boutiques. It is also close to golf courses, tennis, and fitness centers.
