Come and enjoy beautiful Maui. Stay in our clean, luxurious and quiet (non-smoking) 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo at the renowned Maui Banyan resort. The condo features free high speed, wireless internet, HBO and upgraded cable and DVD players for 2 TV's. There is A/C as well as 2 new ceiling fans. Also included are many more new items including newer carpet, black-out drapes, a Sealy queen size bed, ample bedding and towels, small kitchen appliances, pots/pans and new cooking/serving ware, cooking utensils and more. No worries with our condo. It is extremely well maintained and if you do run into a problem, our property manager and his excellent staff are just minutes away to help.
The Maui Banyan is a favorite of visitors because it has the convenience of condominium units, with complete kitchens and private laundry facilities in the units, while presenting the feel of a fine resort. Additionally, there is an activity desk on site, near the front desk, to arrange all of your outings from whale watching to biking down the volcano.
The Maui Banyan is located on the gorgeous South shore area of Kihei near Wailea. Directly across from the Kamaole beaches, the best white sand beaches on the island! It is a short 5 minute walk down the path and through the gorgeous,tropical resort grounds (not across a hot parking lot!!) to the beach. Truly one of the nicest and best situated resorts in Kihei.
We are also located just 7-10 minutes walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants. The numerous staff at the Maui Banyan are very friendly and accommodating and the grounds are tropically gorgeous. An added bonus is their excellent security and maintenance.
The bedroom to our condo opens onto a covered lanai with a relaxing garden view. It offers a comfortable Sealy queen size bed, black-out drapes, ample bedding and towels, a private bathroom with an extra deep bath tub, upgraded cable TV with HBO, DVD, a new ceiling fan, mirrored closet doors, a dresser and lounge chair. The bedroom opens, via etched glass pocket doors into the living area to provide a spacious, airy floor plan. No long hallways. The doors can also be closed for privacy.
The living room also opens onto a covered lanai with a garden view. It features high speed internet access, a queen size sofa sleeper, black-out drapes, a new ceiling fan, upgraded cable TV with HBO, DVD, VCR, and a stereo/CD player. There is another bathroom located just off the living room for added space and privacy.
The clean kitchen includes everything you will need for dining in and cooking. Including a full size range and new refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, toaster, as well as nice cooking and serving pieces. We even remembered the coffee bean grinder for that great Kona coffee. There is a breakfast bar as well as a dining table. Private, newer washer & dryer in condo.
The Maui Banyan offers 2 gated pool/spa areas, one of which is located very near our building. The pools are large, beautifully landscaped,and also offer a great stainless set of BBQ’s for those nights when you prefer to eat in. There is a covered dining area adjacent to the pool and BBQ's. There are also tennis courts on the property.
The glass enclosed lanai faces NE and gets lovely morning sun. There are chairs and a small table on the lanai. It does have a partial mountain view.
Our condo is located in the last and quietest building. It is on the ground floor (safe for children) with a tropical garden view and a glass enclosed lanai. It is next to one of the gated pool/spa/BBQ facilities. You can park close by in the beautifully landscaped parking area or in the covered parking structure. Both offer complimentary parking.
It is only a short, beautiful walk (5 minutes) down the path and through the tropical resort grounds to the famous Kamaole II beach directly across the street. Many Kamaole II is nestled between Kamaole I and Kamaole III. Altogether, the three best white sand beaches on the island. Perfect for swimming and walking. There is also some good snorkeling. Tennis raquets, beach towels, beach chairs, and a rolling ice chest are provided for your convenience. We only ask that you leave them in the condo when you leave for the next guest to enjoy.
Linens and towels are amply provided as well as a “starter kit” of personal necessaries. We pride ourselves on offering a clean, comfortable and relaxing Hawaiian experience down to the last detail.
