This could be the best kept secret in Tuscany. A fabulous smaller villa completely renovated with beautiful tile baths (showers) and a full kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. Located in an area of Tuscany known for private country homes and fewer tourists, this villa is perfect for a small group or family traveling together. Two bedrooms have king/queen size beds and one can be either 2 twins or a king as you prefer. The floors are terracotta and the ceilings are wood-beamed. A perfect combination of old and new.
There is also a wonderful pergola for dining al fresco and a private swimming pool set a short distance from the villa that is surrounded by olive trees and a private vineyard. The view of the countryside from here is spectacular. And when you tire of that, you can head out for day trips to places like Florence, Rome, Siena, Assisi, Cortona, Orvieto, Perugia, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Chianti all within an hour's drive from the villa. Or if you prefer, the Eurostar between Rome and Florence stops in Chiusi just a few minutes from the villa.
We are happy to help you with your planning and itineraries and can organize, wine tastings, guided tours of the Etruscan tombs nearby, a special meal prepared at the villa or any number of other activities. Please contact us for further information.
We look forward to seeing you in Tuscany!

The villa was great!

We had a wonderful time in Tuscany. The villa was great. It was perfect for the four of us and given where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see, it was in an ideal location and a beautiful location as well. Our first full day there we took the train from Chiusi to Orvieto (a half hour away) and spent the day there. Otherwise, we drove everywhere else (Montepulciano, Cetona, Montalcino, Pienza, San Gimingnano, Chiusi, Cortona and Citta della Pieve). Because of the location of the villa, we were able to do and see a lot in a week. We were about an hour and 45 minutes late getting to the villa the first night due to flight delay, etc. But we finally made it to the villa and Yaro was waiting for us (we called him from the airport in Florence to let him know we were on our way). After arriving at the villa, Patrizia came to welcome us and the two of them got us settled in. They couldn't have been more gracious. It was late and we hadn't eaten for several hours. Patrizia called a restaurant in Cetona (Osteria Vecchia) to see if they would stay open until we got there so we could get dinner. They said they would and they were incredibly gracious and hospitable as well. (The food was excellent and we went back another evening for dinner during the week. There is a great little grocery store (Supermercado) in Cetona as well.) Patrizia stopped by a couple of times during the week to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. But everything went well and, as a I already mentioned the villa was perfect for us. We hope to go back again soon.

We were three adults who spent 10 days at La Casseta. After a bumpy arrival in Italy (lost bags, car rental issues, etc.) it was so nice to come to this beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean farm house. Also great to be greeted by Patrizia who had prepared a basket of fruit, a fruit tart, home made wine and olive oil, and had stocked the house with coffee, milk, bottled water, and home-made jam. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the view of the sunrise from the master bedroom was spectacular. The stove, showers, pool, washing machine and all else worked perfectly. We also loved the location that was out in the quiet countryside where we could dine under the milky way, but just 10 minutes by car to Chiusi for shopping, banking, or to take the train to Florence (or Siena or Rome). It's well positioned for exploring Tuscany and Umbria by car. I can't say enough about Patrizia and Linda, who really cared about making our stay wonderful and putting themselves at our disposal for whatever we needed.

We spend a wonderful week in Tuscany with our 2, 9 year old, twins. The villa was perfect for our family. It was charming, with all the modern commodities. We were welcomed by homemade treats, delicious....The swimming pool was a blast for the kids. The location is spectacular, and very convenient for day trips to Southern Tuscany. The proximity of the railway station also easy trips to Rome or Florence.

We traveled with our three adult children and this was the perfect home away from home for us. The pictures cannot capture the beauty of the location. The villa was immaculate. Lovely surprises waited for our arrival. The central location and proximity to Chiusi made daily travel by train or car simple. Returning after a long day of walking and touring for a daily swim and time to relax on the patio were wonderfully pampering. Our dinner served at the villa was truly a treat! We left Italy feeling totally rested in a way that a hotel stay cannot provide. We definitely will travel in this way in the future, and hope to return to Italy to do the many things that cannot be experienced in a week and a half.

We are a family of four: 8 and 11 years old kids. We spent one week in la Casetta, a great little house near Cetona, in the Chiusi area, Tuscany. The house is perfect for a malily of 4 to 6 people. 3 BEdrooms and 2 baths, in excellent condition, clean, well equiped. The views of the house are much better that the pics in the webside, yes MUCH BETTER. It is a great experience to have breakfast and dinner "al fresco" with outstanings views, not to mention the pool that belongs to the house. BEST OF ALL: IS PRIVATE, none else but you and your family. The owner Patrizia is great, warm, welcoming and VERY, VERY HELPFULL, her english is limited, so Yaro, nice young man, helps with the translation for the first day/tour of the house. Home made olive oil, plums tree in the porperty: help your self, explore the vineyard, jump the haystacks, have a Brunello at the end of the day after exploring Tuscany: one of the most beautifull places on earth are things you can do. Perfect location near Chiusi scalo, where you can rent a car and drive in Tuscany and returned there on your way back to Rome, no need to drive in ROME. Finnaly, Linda, US contact is great with recommendations,, tips etc. One of the best vacations ou my life!!!!!

My husband and I, along with my brother and one of my sisters, stayed at this lovely Italian farmhouse the end of September and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Patrizia was generous sharing produce from the garden, welcomed us with a fruit tart, and later in the week brought us some of her wonderful pasta sauce. The location is absolutely perfect for visiting some of Tuscany's beautiful villages. And the views from the farmhouse are so spectacular, far more breathtaking than the pictures on the website. We would love to come back in every season, especially when the sunflowers are in bloom. We also appreciated how relatively close we were to the Chiusi train station so our day trips to Florence and Arezzo by train gave the drivers a break and allowed all of us to watch the countryside go by. Over the last several years we've rented a variety of properties in Italy with varying numbers of family members participating and found this farmhouse to be ideal for our small group this time. Probably my favorite memory was the first night watching the full moon rising in a clear sky over Chiusi Citta. Unforgettable.

Our 2-week stay could not have been any better. The location was amazing - the 360 degree views were ever-changing. The villa was great and Patrizia's smiling face, along with her wine, olive oil, jam, ragu and crostata were a wonderful welcome. Even the weather was perfect. The villa is centrally-located and perfect for day trips to so many interesting towns and cities. Nearby Cetona is great if you want to live like a local - a terrific bakery, fresh fruit and vegetables and local wine. I really hope we get to go back.

What can be said of an amazing place⦠the pictures you see do not do it justice! We recently spent a wonderful week in this oasis of peace and absolute beauty! We enjoyed the pool everyday and obviously the scenery. The recommendations we received on places to visit and local restaurants were so good. Cetona, the nearest village, is so beautiful and the people so friendly. We had probably the best meal of our trip at a local trattoria, not to say that I cannot cook! We did enjoy cooking in a very modern and convenient kitchen. We will definitely go back and bring our friends and family. Our thanks to Federico and Patrizia (her tart was so delicious) and to Linda who was so helpful in the preparation of this trip. Thank you so much for such a great week.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway and caught a glimpse of the view, we knew this was a special place. Quite literally it's beauty and charm are beyond description. Thank you Linda, Patrizia, Federico and Family for sharing such a magical place with us. You have kept us dreamimg of Tuscany with your homemade ragu sauce, tiramisu cooking lesson, the fine wine from your vineyard, the peaceful walks around the property, your welcoming smiles, our "Eng-Talian" conversations and of course, that endless view. Please give a hug to Likka for us! We look forward to enjoying another sunset and a glass of wine on the patio in the future.

Spent one week in June with wife and three adult children. Excellent location. The people in the scores of little towns with picturesque castles and other buildings within an easy drive are all very friendly and helpful. Desptie Linda's warnings, I found Tuscany easy and fun to drive in (heaven compared with driving in the Sorrento/Amalfi area). But, we did Florence by train, an easy ride from Chiusi, if you pay attention to the schedules (there is a train that takes 3 hours instead of the usual one and a half.) The house had everything we needed including Patrizia's tart and red sauce and Antenello's wonderful wines. The view is magnicifent and not captured well in the photos on the web site. Lavander and rosemary hedge around the house is a great touch - as are the fire flies in the treeline along the road below the house. We would stay there again. It is an excellent value
