Living Room with Rock Fireplace looking towards Kitchen and Loft

Beautifully remodeled 3 Bedroom plus Loft - 2 Bath townhome in Vail Village. The only end unit at Skaal Hus. Bright with southern and western views. Five minute walk to Central Vail Village or Lionshead. Remodel includes new kitchen, baths, flooring and furniture. The entire home has new knotty alder panel doors and woodwork as well as oil rubbed hardware.
The Living/Dining Room has soaring 20 foot ceilings, a large rock fireplace with gas logs, south and west facing windows (looking towards the mountain),a large south facing deck, new furniture, electronics and distressed leather sofa. Electronics include a new 37 inch HD-LCD Flat Screen TV and DVD/Stereo. The new kitchen features granite counters, knotty pine cabinets and stainless steel appliances.
The large lower master bedroom has a private bath and new furnishings with king bed. Electronics include a new 27 inch TV with DVD. The two smaller (10' x 12')bedrooms feature queen beds, 20 inch TV's w/DVD and a shared bath. The new baths feature granite counters, knotty pine cabinets and marble floors and shower surrounds. There is a mini stack washer / dryer that is convenient for light weight loads and, with a long dry time, can accomplish slightly heavier loads. The loft overlooks the living room and features two trundle beds (sleeps four in total) and three large skylights. Please note the loft has limited head height and parents should review photos to determine if the loft access steps are suitable for their young children.
Although there are parking spaces adjacent to the town home, you will not need a car as the restaurants, art galleries and shops of Vail Village and Lionshead are close both by foot and via the Village Shuttle Bus. This townhome is located at 141 West Meadows Drive in Vail Village however on Google maps search for our neighbor, Vail Valley Medical Center, Vail, CO as adddress searches in Vail are inaccurate. Enlarge the image (which incorrectly shows the Medical Center enveloping the entire block) and look for the street numbers to determine the location of 141 on Meadows drive.
The Vail Village shuttle bus stops in front of our home. One stop west is Robson Ice Rink; Two stops west to Lionshead and Gondola. Two stops east to Vail Village and Vista Bahn Lift, four stops east to Golden Peak Lift.
Take a look at our two other Vail Valley homes. In Vail Village, we have a two bedroom, three bath condo at the Vail Village Inn (200 yards east of Skaal Hus) - See VRBO# 18996. In Beaver Creek/Avon, we have a 3 bedroom, 3 bath townhome that overlooks the Eagle River in Avon - See VRBO# 73361. Both have been substancially upgraded.
Remodeled Rustic Mountain Townhome

The owner of this condo spared no expense in remodeling this home with many upscale furnishings. Recently, the condo was completely renovated with all new furnishings including linens, leather furniture, flooring, stainless steel appliances, granite counters, all new cabinets, doors and fixtures, while still maintaining a welcoming, rustic lodge atmosphere.
The condo had plenty of room for a large family and featured three bedrooms, two full baths, and a kid-friendly loft with a sky-light overlooking the family room (which sleeps an additional four sleepy bear cubs). Each of the bedrooms had its own television with cable. The family room had a large flat screen television and a stone gas fireplace.
This condo offers a premium location at the base of Vail Mountain as it’s only a five-minute walk from either Vail Village or Lionshead. Each town has its distinct variety of quaint shops and restaurants. Vail Village is a European-styled village with an abundance of patio dining, eclectic shops and live music decorated by cascading flowers, potted plants and fountains. It is “unbearably” beautiful and definitely has an international feel! Lionshead Village has many choices of restaurants and shops, but one can also catch a gondola ride to the top of Vail Mountain and Adventure Ridge. The walk to Lionshead Village includes a scenic trail along Gore Creek. You’ll find parking at the complex to be very convenient as there’s a space right outside the front door.
The locale is a mecca for winter sports and an absolutely, beautiful place to spend a summer vacation with many outdoor recreational activities for the entire family.
Awesome summer activities in the area include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, zip line adventures, and white water rafting.
