Our first time here and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to celebrate our engagement! The location is stunning - so much so that we shot our engagement photos here. The cottage is centrally located and was a wonderful place to come home to each evening. Thank you so much! Highlights included a tour of nearby Windsor Oaks Vineyard & Winery, and the Sonoma Canopy Tour. Among others, the Zinfindel at Windsor was fantastic. Dinner at Farmhouse Inn was superb. Our third year in a row and each year it's harder and harder to leave! It's what heaven must look like! Amazing sunrises, beautiful moon and stargazing, and always things to see (and taste)on the property. We dream of moving to this area and living like this! Thank you for continuing to share your sanctuary with us Brenda. Christie and Mike NYC, NY

The views from the cottage couldn't be more spectacular. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning, there were great views from the windows and the deck. The cottage was great too, especially enjoyed the cozy window seats/nooks. This is truly a special place. I would highly recommend this to anyone for a peaceful vacation.

We had a delightful stay at Lavender Cottage at Sunrise Ridge. I considered it spiritual, emotional, and physical healing on a little piece of paradise. We also learned something about organic and bio diversity in crop raising, particularly the watering system. Mary Carol & Jack Baird Penryn, CA

Lavender Cottage is just wonderful. The setting is perfect, it is quiet and peaceful. The cottage itself is very spacious and very nicely appointed. We were visiting Sonoma County to look at property and boy do we wish we could find a place like this! The views are fantastic and all the ripe fruit was wonderful. We will definitely come back to stay when we continue our search and will recommend it to our Bay Area friends. This place is a find!

The cottage was a beautiful, quiet escape from our busy lifestyles. The grounds were breathtaking and the cottage was private and had everything necessary for a homoe away from home.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Sunrise Ridge Retreat. It is the most peaceful setting to have a week away. The grounds are gorgeous and we had a full week of great wine, fresh fruit and vegetables, beautiful sunrises and nights in the hot tub under the stars. We look forward to coming back again soon! Home away from home says it all! We loved our week in your perfect cottage in such a pastoral setting. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening with a glass of wine purchased at the day's favorite winery. The area restaurants did not disappoint. But most of all the serenity of the place, the proximity to enchanting countryside, the coast, no strip malls or Wal-Mart...just the way it used to be in our beautiful country. Thank you for sharing your very special place with us. We will return...

We are counting our blessings each day at Sunrise Ridge! The gardens -- the cottage warm with wood and works of art in spacious blue sky. It was the perfect complement to our singing workshop. Thanks for all,

What a wonderful place to stay. The setup is just perfect for us! We just launched the awesome kitchen, plus a few! And the stargazing from the hot tub was priceless. An amazing getaway that we much appreciated. They've done an amazing job on the landscaping, and it will be beautiful for years to come. Peace.

Thank you for your hospitality and excellent accommodations. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our time here. Coleman Valley Road was a highlight! As well as the fruit trees being in bloom.

Hard to believe it took us over a year to get back here. The magic remains. The smell of rosemary on the walk, the full moon over the hot tub, quiet dinners, lazy afternoons reading, long walks, and lots of time to select it be grateful. We look forward to our next visit……….. Sooner, and later.

Wow!! Although the spring weather was not the best, we found this cozy guest house to satisfy all of our remote getaway desires. The full working kitchen and jacuzzi were very accomodating as well as the breathtaking views and close proximity to all of the wonderful California wineries in the area. What an amazing time we had in the Sonoma and coastal area, hiking, day trips, picnics, beach walks and coatal views, wineries, and amazing restraunts all in very short proximity to the house. These accomodations are a perfect location for a small family or couples getaway. We can't wait to visit again.

What a fabulous place! Our host was great. The views were nice. The property is situated on a hill at the end of a long country lane. It feels like its at the end of the world in the best kind of ways. Like being able to see stars and hear nothing but the music of nature at night. We enjoyed relaxing in this very private comfy, charming, roomy, bright, spotless, peaceful cottage. We explored the bucolic countryside, check out the several small towns. We Peeked into many interesting shops and some of the many garden nurserys in the area. Out of a rating of one to ten, we'd give Sunrise Ridge Retreat a BIG FAT TEN.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at Sunrise Ridge Retreat. It was truly a retreat for us. The cottage felt like home with all its ammenities. The views are spectacular! It is a wonderful place to stay when you want to get away from it all but still have easy access to the wineries and sights of the surrounding area. The cottage was immaculate and well stocked. We can't wait to go back!
