Location: Wintergreen, Virginia, USA (Approx. 30 miles to Charlottesville, VA/Shenandoah Valley)

Accommodations:  Condominium, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)

This Non-Smoking, No-Pets condominium sleeps six: the master bedroom features a romantic King-size bed, an LCD TV with DVD player and a master bathroom with bathroom heater switch. The second bedroom has two Twin beds with a television and stereo. There is also a Queen Aero-Bed air mattress that inflates in less than a minute.

The dining room with a view seats eight comfortably. On a warm evening you may take advantage of seating for four on the deck overlooking the beautiful mountain vistas. The well-equipped kitchen offers a full complement of cookware and appliances including a microwave, four-burner stove and oven, coffeepot, and more.

Vistas is directly across the street from the Devil's Knob Golf Course and tennis courts, as well as the Devil's Knob Grill. It is a short walk to the Wintergarden Spa and the Nature Center, while skiing, childcare, hiking, and other amenities are but a few minutes away.The unit is at the highest point on the ridge with the best views of the slopes and the mountains. I have just redecorated the unit this summer as well.

The Wintergreen shuttle literally picks you up in the parking lot right outside the condo to take you to the Mountain Inn, the ski lifts, and the tubing park. Also, the beautiful new Wintergarden Spa, Pools and Fitness Center is located less than 1/4 mile from the condo.

  • We spent a wonderful 4th of July at Vistas 1553. The mountain views from the balcony are truly breathtaking and the condo was comfortable in every way. The furnishings are very stylish and clean and I can't think of a single amenity we lacked. We would love to stay there again, should we have a chance to return to Wintergreen. Thank you!

  • We had a great weekend getaway as a family...the view from the condo was incredible, the weather gorgeous with the leaves just starting to turn, sunrise from the deck, etc. Owners were very easy to deal with and rental process was simple. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

  • What a wonderfully appointed condominium with an impressive view! We had a much needed break and everything was handled so smoothly by the very thoughtful and friendly owners. Having rented many vacation homes in the past, we both agree that the owners made sure that the rental process was hassle-free and that the unit has everything you could possibly need or want.   • What a amazing view! This lovely condo sits at the top of Devil's Knob at Wintergreen.We rented for four days in June 2008. The owners were a delight to work with, the condo was exceptional and we will certainly go back! Don't miss getting on the Parkway at the entrance to Wintergreen. It ends where the Skyline Drive begins The next hundred miles of overlooks rivals Montana's.

  • We loved our ski weekend at Vistas 1553! The shuttle stops only a few steps from the door, unlike many condos. We parked our car at the end of the lot so we could step off the shuttle and store our skis. It took only a matter of minutes to get to the slopes and was far more convenient than driving. Don't be fooled by listings that say "short walk to the slopes" as there is a lot to carry and it is up, down and all around a snowy mountain! The views are terrific. Look to the right and take in all the slopes, but look to the left and feel like you're the only person at the top of the world! The bedding and towels are exceptionally comfortable. The owners are so easy to work with and are prompt and thorough in their communications. I can't say enough about our wonderful experience!

  • Spectacular views, wonderfully decorated, extremely comfortable and well equipped…we felt as if we were in our own home. This place is awesome. From the initial contact, we knew we were in the right place and feel like we’ve made new friends. If there was nothing else to do but sit in the living room and look out the window, it would have been a glorious weekend, but throw in the winter activities, the perfect weather and the outstanding restaurants, and it’s almost heaven.   • Your condo is so gorgeous; every detail is just pure class. We can hardely believe that you rent it out. You obviously have a knack for decorating--anytime you are in the Charleston area give us a call and lend us your expertise!! The touches of hand lotions and soaps throughout were just exquisite and such a delight for me! Your thoughtfulness with the gift and tree were so generous. My girls loved the tree and thought it was real and you SAVED me from having to locate a little tree!! A million thank you's!! Anytime someone is on the fence about renting feel free to give them our number...we have owned several businesses and will be much more braggadocios about your beautiful get away than you are!!
