    This house is a wonderful place for large family groups looking for a comfortable place to stay while visiting Oahu. We had three families of siblings, their spouses and their children and grand children living and playing together for a whole week. Our group ranged in age from 3 years to late-60’s but we still found the house met everyone’s lodging needs. A day didn’t go by that at least one person in our group would tell me they were so thankful I had found this place to stay. The house has plenty of room for everyone and is conveniently located close to stores (including Costco), good restaurants, fantastic snorkeling (Hanauma Bay) and very beautiful scenery. The back yard and pool offered a private place to relax after a long day of sightseeing or shopping in Waikiki. We found the house to be clean, comfortable, and well stocked with towels, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, and even those miscellaneous items that you seem to need when away from home. It was hard to find anything that limited our “Hawaiian experience” with this house since it is supplied with 2 washers, 2 dryers, 4 bathrooms and 2 complete kitchens! There is more than ample parking in the driveway and on the quiet suburban street. Cynthia was very, very helpful with some special requests we had and with answering our many questions. She never disturbed us while we were there and she was always just a quick phone call away. I would recommend this home to any of my friends and family and I hope I have an opportunity to stay there again.

    our family had a fantastic time during our week long stay in your beautiful home. We have rented several homes and this home had many "extras" included. One of the most helpful things were the access of two refrigs. It was so nice and relaxing with the space provided. It was so serene and beautiful (even though pool is chilly). We had so much fun with so many things so near by to do. We took surf /paddle board lessons, ate at Roy's, beautiful beaches all within close mileage. Can't wait to return.

    Our family stayed for a week. We chose this spacious house because it had 8 bedrooms but the property is an older home so the accommodations could have been better maintained. The downstairs kitchen has only a large screen separating the indoors from the outdoors, which was interesting. Our family enjoyed our time together; however, we would not stay here again.

    Our large extended family enjoyed our week-long stay in June 2012. Bedrooms were large & spacious with plenty of room in home to move around. Kitchen very well equipped with everything. Hawaiian style slatted windows all around.Costco nearby was convenient for bulk food shopping. Highly recommend the original Roy's restaurant only ~5 min drive away with good food and excellent service. Home Owner and son were absolutely helpful with answering questions and handling concerns.

    We've only been home for one day but are already missing our "Hawaii home". Our group of 15 included our five grown children, their spouses, and 82 yr old Grandpa. We found plenty of space for us all to be together and a great home for us all to have our own space. The location was perfect -- Hawaii kai had most everything we needed while still being a quick drive to Honolulu for the specific things we wanted to see. Cynthia is delightful to work with and we found the home "move in ready". We are already planning our next trip and will definately stay here again.

    We rented this home for a week and loved every minute of it. It's nice and roomy and was great for our large group. It was was so good to have a vacation that didn't involve everyone having to go back to different hotels. I will absolutely stay here again.

    The family really enjoyed staying at the house. The large gathering area was perfect in the evening after dinner. The house is close to Costco and Safeway for household shopping. After a day of site seeing, swimming, or shopping it was a nice to return to a quiet house. The house was clean and spacious I would definitely rent this again. There were 14 of us from ages 9 to 70+ and all had a great time staying here. Cynthia was helpful and answered all questions quickly.

    The home called Halemana is an ideal place if you are looking for a rental home for a large group. Close to many of the attractions of Oahu yet located away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, this home provides an ideal balance. After a busy day of sightseeing or activities you can return to this lovely and inviting home for dinner or an evening of togetherness with your group. Several supermarkets and Costco are nearby and you can save a fortune on meals by cooking at home. The location of the pool allows you to keep an eye on children who are swimming without having to sit right there with them. The grounds of the home are beautiful and private. The view from the second floor balcony is breattaking. This beautiful home has sufficient space to allow for privacy while also providing opportunities for your group to gather as well. We visited here with a party of eleven ranging in age from 7 to 80 years old. Our family had come for the college graduation of one of our sons who was commissioned in the Army. We could not have been happier with our choice of staying in this home.

    We stayed at this house for a week in mid February 2011. We were in Honolulu for our son's wedding and needed a large place to put up relatives and friend. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together or get away by themselves. The location is very close to Honolulu without being in the crowds and traffic. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. It is within a few blocks of some restaurants  and stores you can walk to and close to the bus line. Costco, supermarkets and more restaurants are a short drive away. The house fitted our needs perfectly. I was a newbie to this vacation home rental thing and Cynthia the owner could have not been nicer or more helpful.  Everything we needed was provided. I was quite thankful for the 2 washers and dryers with that many people! The kitchen has all the basic necessities and then some. The beds are super comfortable. The house was clean. I do want to warn you it is a older house and not the lap of luxury but a very useable and comfortable home away from home. At this price it is perfect if you have a large group. The house exceeded my expectations.  The pool is beautiful and we made use of it. It is cool this time of year but once you are in it feels great. You do want to be quiet at night because the house is in a quiet neighborhood, I considered that a big plus! If I ever get a chance to take a large group to Honolulu again I would definitely rent this place for it. Thank you Cynthia it was wonderful and we had a great time!

    Most of our large immediate family just returned from a delightful 8 day stay in this property. I found it to have been accurately represented and was thoroughly enjoyed by all family members. Our family is adventure oriented. It was important not to be a prohibitive distance from our planned adventure spots or the other attractions we had decided to visit. A comfortable place that would accommodate us, and allow for good interaction, sleeping and the preparation of some meals, were also important to us. This property met or exceded our expectations in all instances. It enhanced our vacation and in no way detracted from it. The owner was very helpful in promptly answering our pre-occupancy questions, and we had no need to contact the owner during our stay. We would be happy to stay at this property on a return trip and would recommend it to our friends and other family members.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

    I had a group of 11 people in all stay in the house and we had a wonderful time. There was lots of room and the setting and neighborhood was beautiful. We found it convenient to sightseeing, shopping and restaurants as well.

    I brought my Volleyball team to stay here for the week and we loved the house, the location, the views. actually we loved everything about it. It was a great week, in a really nice home, with everything right at hand.

    House has alot of room and is clean. Pool and backyard is nice to hang out. Neighborhood is quiet! Alot of nearby shopping centers. House is in a good area. Alot of the condiments are already at the house so if you are shopping to eat your meals at the house, I'd check with Cynthia on what is there and is not before you go or make your grocery list.

    This is a fantastic property and would advise staying, the area is a beautiful place to stay, the houses very upmarket, more a family villa then a party villa but everything you could possible wish for in your own home is accommodated here, Towels and lined provided, comfortable beds in all room, internet access and computer, free local phone calls and the bus routes are very close and very easy to catch in either direction, There is a big mall situated down the road a couple of bus stops away and some food halls round the corner, The private dock is stunning and serine and the people who live in the street are very friendly and helpful, overall 13 of us had a fantastic stay here and if traveling in a large group would do this again without a doubt, The owner was very accommodating to our need with a friendly phone call on our arrival and departure. The views out of the master bedroom are what dreams are made of and to walk out there every morning was blissful, i would make this property a serious consideration as your completely get your money's worth with your stay here.

    Stayed at this property for a week with family. Was close to everything. The house was wonderful for a large group. Very private. Well equiped kitchen, etc. Could not have asked for anything better. And the pool was wonderful!
