- Pet Friendly : Mannerly dogs are welcome. There is a $15 charge per night for your dog. Owners must clean up after their dog. Dogs may not swim in the backyard pond or be allowed unsupervised in the residence, front & back yards.
- Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations) : The residence in one main floor except for the basement laundry room. There are exterior entrance and exit steps.
- Kid Friendly : Skate board park is only two blocks away! 2 foot deep pond and waterfall in the backyard to enjoy; not for wading please, and always with parental supervision for children's safety. Front & back yard are fenced.

Great location and cute cottage but dated and needs maintenance. Photos looked nicer than actuality. No WiFi and TV with rabbit ears?? Nice back yard for outdoor dining but needs yardwork, BBQ was dirty, and patio needed cleaning. Bathrooms are very odd--one nice bathroom with shower (mold in shower) and 1/2 bath was right next door, not close to bedrooms. Toilet handle broken when we checked in; garbage disposal blocked. Need mirrors in bedrooms. Road work on the street started at 6:00 am; neighbor was power washing gutters at 8:00 pm. Owner was difficult to get a hold of to secure the rental, and did not return calls the day we checked out. All in all, overpriced for the quality.
Owner response:We appreciate our customer reviews and care very much about your feedback. So sorry that we were only able to reach you twice in response to your calls. We discovered the broken toilet flushing arm two hours before this check in and we were happy to be able to repair it within hours. We have local and major network channels, 9 total, with very good digital clarity reception. There is a DVD/video player also for guests who wish to rent movies. A professional plumber cleared the moderately sluggish kitchen sink which was clogged with bacon grease in the pipe trap. Fortunately, this was resolved within two hours of our knowledge of it. We routinely patch paint and deep clean the Cottage. I will discuss other issues with our professional gardener and housekeeper, as they have pride in their work. We are grateful for guest feedback as we strive to keep our standards high. We are glad that you enjoyed the pond and waterfall, outdoor dining, etc..and hope that you had a great time in general. Met my sister and her family in Coeur d'Alene to spend time together and of course Silverwood for the kids. There was eight of us all together and we found the cottage by the lake gave us plenty of room. The master bedroom is fabulous with the king bed and the view of the pond! The neighbourhood was very quiet and it was nice at the end of the day to just sit in the backyard and relax. The kids were more than happy to chill out after a busy day at Silverwood Park, plalying board games or watching movies. A lovely spot. Would definitely recommend it.

Myself and five best friends met in CDA from all over the northwest to spend our annual girl's weekend together. When I came across this rental property it seemed that it would facilitate our needs sufficiently. To our surprise it was absolutely WONDERFUL, and so much more. It was exactly what we were looking for, something comfortable, affordable, CLEAN and well-maintained, with enough space for 6 women, close to water for morning walks, and with a short walk or inexpensive cab ride to enjoy cocktails downtown in the evening. We had a great weekend filled with spas appointments, family style dinners that we were able to cook at the house, and lots of great conversations around the dinner table and in the living room. Without a doubt I would recommend this for families, friends, couples, ect. and when we return to CDA we know where we will be staying!!! Thanks a million!!!

My husband and I recently stayed at the cottage by the lake in Coeurd'Alene. We had a wonderful time. The home was everything and more. We walked to town everyday for coffee and we rented kayak's nearby and we also biked the centennial trail. We both own small businesses and were able to work in the morning with the WIFI in the home and then spend the rest of the day exploring this beautiful city. We were close to the public park and marina for boating. Its located on a very beautiful and quiet street just a short walk from the public beach area. The home was very well kept and had wonderful small touches to help you navigate your stay. Very clean and had all the kitchen tools we needed to cook gourmet meals.

Leslie, the kids and I really enjoyed the cottage over Labor Day week-end. The cottage itself was lovely and definitely did have everything you would need for cooking and living - just like (or even better) than home! Great access to the tennis courts at the college if you play. A very short walk to the lake and downtown - you don't need a car once you are there unless you want to. Also a manageable drive to the Gorge (we saw Dave Matthews Band!) and to Silver Mountain in Kellogg for biking, hiking, gondola ride. And CdL Lake was beautiful for boating!
