"My Sunshine" has been popular to families and friends alike. We get lots of return renters that make their annual vacation memories here. The house is set up to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. The house is near the front of the neighborhood, a few steps from the pool, and a few more steps to the beach. The cottage style community of Old Florida Village on 30-A is beautifully landscaped with two pools, lighted streets and white picket fences. It’s close to everything but tucked back so kids can play in the driveway or ride bikes around the block and not be exposed to 30-A traffic.
There is so much to do so close by. Down the street of 30-A is Gulf Place which has dining, shopping and spa options. Swimming, bike rental, horseback riding, golf are all within minutes. 30-A has a wonderful wide path to walk/run/ride bikes. Seaside and WaterColor are 6 miles down the road. Destin is a 10 minute drive and is great for shopping, movies, nightlife, and kid’s activities. And a brand new Publix grocery store is 5 minutes away so you spend less time at the store and more time on the sand.
We get asked a lot, how far is the beach? For our family with two small kids it takes approx 8 minutes to walk from the neighborhood to the beach. The closest beach access we recommend is outside the neighborhood, across the street to the left, behind Goatfeathers. It has picnic tables, restrooms and lifeguards during the summer season. If you want to swim closer to home, one of the two community pools is right in front of the house! We provide beach towels and beach toys, one less thing you have to pack from home.
If you chose to spend some time indoors, the well designed living room with a big oversized sectional couch is perfect for lounging around. A brand new flat screen TV with full cable package and surround sound means you don't have to compromise entertainment, even on vacation. Outdoor speakers allow you to set the mood for an evening outdoor cocktail party on one of the three decks. Hardwood floors throughout the family and living room, tile in the kitchen and carpet in the bedrooms keep "My Sunshine" comfortable and casual.
A well appointed kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, including a large breakfast bar. Kitchen conveniences include microwave, ice maker, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker/coffee grinder. Coffee and teas are available for you each morning, one less thing you need to worry about at "My Sunshine". And if outdoor cooking is more desirable, a gas grill is at your disposal.
The 4 bedrooms are laid out as: Three upstairs including master with king and in room suite including garden tub and separate shower. Queen bedroom and a full bedroom share a full hall bathroom. Downstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds and an additional full bathroom. Added bonus for the master bedroom... your own private deck with a swinging bench and chairs.
All second floor bedrooms have large TV's with cable.
Free WIFI is available.
And finally, another great convenience, a keyless lock on the door. You get your own code for your stay. No more worrying about picking up keys at a rental office or losing them!

When we come to 30-A, we get to the house, drop our stuff and hit the beach. We spend as much time outside as we can, whether it's the pool, beach, playing outside in the neighborhood. The house is comfortable and convenient and perfect for morning coffee, afternoon naps, evening cocktails on the porch. We leave feeling like we had a great vacation that was easy and stress free.

We stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! The home is cute inside and out and very comfortable! It's right across the street from one of the pools and not a far walk to the beach. The beaches in the area are breathtaking and there was NO oil at all while we were there. I highly recommend this house!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Beautifully maintained house,with a great pool just a few steps from the front of the house. White sand beach, shopping and fun outdoor restaurant within walking distance. We have been going there for 4 years and love it.

Ahhhh...our home away from home! Owner's are very easy to work with and make their home yours. Everything you could need, down to beach towels and a welcome basket filled with goodies, is provided. Love the pool right across the street about 20 feet away from the porch. In our sons younger years, we could be at the pool, have him down for a nap, see the house and have the monitor on to hear him! Easy access to beach, lots of restaurants in close distance, biking from the front of the community...couldn't ask for anything more from a beach rental!

This wonderful house has everything you could ever wish for and more. We have stayed here for the past 3 summers and love it more each time. The neighborhood is very children friendly and the beach is just a few minutes away. I wouldn't change a thing.
