Palm Cove Tropical House is a magnificent, luxurious, tropical, holiday home in the centre of Palm Cove Village. Palm Cove is a beach-side village approximately 25 kilometres north of Cairns - the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.
The Palm Cove Tropical House is big and sophisticated. Imagine yourself coming home from the Barrier Reef to laze on a recliner around the massive swimming pool, listening to the sound of rainforest birds singing in the surrounding melaleuca trees, or you sip a cocktail while you put on a CD and relax.
There are four large bedrooms in the luxurious beach-style house, and an enormous open plan living room complete with a brand-new designer kitchen, separate dining room area, and large comfortable lounge. There is an additional rumpus room with doors leading straight to the large, in-ground pool. Relax with a drink at the outdoor breakfast bar, or have a barbecue by the pool.
Take an easy 500-metre stroll to magnificent Palm Cove Beach - Australians cleanest and friendliest beach and 16 beachfront restaurants (three AWARD WINNERS) and bars in five minutes.
Palm Cove Tropical House has four bedrooms and two luxurious bathrooms. The design is clean and modern with a contemporary colonial theme. It has its own large private swimming pool and pool spa in tropical garden surroundings conveniently built right outside the kitchen server window. You can sit around the pool in the huge outdoor entertainment area or in the pool spa itself and take in the views of the mountains and rainforest backdrop, before strolling out to the beach for a swim or dinner.
The master bedroom is a huge parent's retreat with a luxurious en suite bathroom containing spa bath and twin glass overcounter vanity basins. There are glass panelled sliding doors opening out directly onto the beautifully landscaped pool area. All the bedrooms have air conditioning, fans, and built-in robes. The whole house is luxurious and newly renovated under the discerning eye of an interior designer. There are two separate, large, indoor, living areas and two outdoor recreational areas plus the front and rear gardens/lawns areas.
Fine dining at a different restaurant every night of the week, and no worries about driving home because its less than five minutes to stroll home under a balmy, tropical, starry sky. Palm Cove is the most special place near Cairns due to its unique combination of olde village atmosphere and stunning modern resorts all set against a rainforest backdrop. Add that pristinely clean beach and the magical, warm, clear waters and the result is the perfect holiday destination! And, of course, do not forget that Cairns has the easiest access to that Great Barrier Reef!
The massive master bedroom and parents retreat has a row of built ins and two large sliding wooden doors with glass panels leading to an outdoor dining area and the pool. This has a queen-size bed. It boasts a luxurious en suite bathroom complete with spa bath, shower head, and twin Italian glass above counter wash basins, Stone Italiana vanity top, and the latest contemporary-style stainless steel fittings. You can pamper yourself in style while taking in the rainforest views from the bathroom window. This is the ultimate in luxury!
The second bedroom has a double-size bed, the third bedroom contains two singles. The fourth bedroom is located at the rear of the house with its own exit to the rear garden lawn and has a queen-size bed. All bedrooms rooms have built-in cupboards and air conditioning.
The main bathroom is designed in the latest contemporary colonial style with beautiful, travertine marble, floor tiles and huge, Italian, white, wall tiles. There ia a luxurious shower and beautiful over counter (but low enough for the kids) over-counter sink. There is a door opening directly into the modern, new, paved pool are so it is easy to shower straight after swimming.
The house is equipped with a TV, Hi Fi, DVD player, and video, and has an enormous selection of movies available (over 100 to choose from). You can also BYO (bring your own) own music CDs and DVDs. You can choose to BYO bed linen, or we can supply linen and make up the beds for you at an additional cost of $25 per single bed or $50 per double-size and queen-size bed.
CAIRNS - THE GREAT BARRIER REEF. TWENTY-FIVE MINUTE DRIVE TO REEF FLEET TERMINAL OR FIVE MINUTES TO GREEN ISLAND JETTY (walking).
Anything you could possibly wish for while on holiday, can be found at Palm Cove. Reef trips for diving, snorkeling, and relaxing. For the sporting enthusiast there are two golf courses, Paradise Palms for the pro and Novotel nine hole for the family. Fishing off Palm Cove jetty, tennis, swimming, hot air ballooning. The palm Cove Tropical House is a 5 minute easy stroll to the cleanest beach in Australia ( award winner 2008). Palm Cove is close to Cairns International Airport - just 25 mins by car, close to all amenities and a fabulous place to have a relaxed vacation. Access to Great barrier Reef Trips is very easy and so is the Daintree national park with 130 million year old rainforests to explore. Another day in a Tropical Paradise! need I say more?
