We were skeptical at first about paying upfront for a place we weren't entirely sure of its location....but ending up being very happy! We were close enough to walk with two kids, to dinner in the Village! The condo was very clean, warm (with a fireplace) and spacious. Close enough to the action at the ski slopes, without the noise of the bars and restaurants for kids who go to bed early. There were lots of games and movies for those apres ski lounging times too. We skated on the pond with fireworks and did lots of skiing. Drove to the scenic caves for some X country skiing too. Would return! Thanks Glen.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Of the questions to consider on the right side of this site, I would answer yes to all. We are very pleased and enjoyed our stay. We skied at the Mountain, tried to go snowmobiling, but were unsuccessful, enjoyed walking around downtown Collingwood, we did not eat out, used the hot tub and pool facilities provided. It was a wonderful location and will definitely consider it again when we come back to the area.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a great time with our three teen aged boys over the New Years period at Blue staying at this condo. It was perfect for meeting all of our needs. The unit is exactly as depicted in terms of location. We could easily walk to the village for shopping, restaurants, etc. It is also very close to the Grand Central terminal lift. The resort shuttle came by the court location frequently making even easier transport of skis, whether to Grand Central or the other base lifts. The unit itself is as per the photos for decor and space; it is very clean and well maintained and Glen responded immediately to all questions before we arrived. We never needed him after that as we had no problems. We had lots of space for relaxing after being on the hills and enjoyed all the kitchen amenities for breakfasts, lunches and snacks. TVs, Wifi, DVD collection were all great. The condo has all kinds of glass types for various drinks and is well stocked right to the tin foil, zip lock bags, etc.The facilities at Blue were great for skiing and snowshoeing. We loved our New Year's Eve dinner at the Manonge Italian Kitchen. Fireworks were a special treat at 9 pm and midnight. We would definitely recommend to friends and family for either winter or summer! Happy 2013!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you for the review Jan & Mark. Were glad you enjoyed Blue at New Years. We'd love to have you back any time. Thank you again for the rental and for the rave reviews.

The property is in a great location just across the street from Monterra's pro shop and the village. the condo is located at about the 150 yard marker on the first hole of Monterra golf course. It is also walking/staggering distance to everything in the village. Owner was extremely accomodating even after we had to switch weekends!. Condo photos and description are bang on. The condo is very well equipped with wine and martini glasses, tin foil, plastic wrap etc. Never stayed in a condo that was so well stocked with everything! Hot tub and pool are across the court and stayed open until 11p.m. Great after a golf game!! The condo is also on the main floor so no stairs to have to worry about except for people staying above you. We had a family of four with small children so you could hear them running around above us. Other than that, it was quite enjoyable. Owner was also excellent at getting back to you very quickly so if you have any problems etc. he'll get back to you within moments! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will return again sometime soon either for some skiing or golfing in the 2012 season!! Many thanks Glen!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Our stay at Rivergrass was very comfortable and convenient. The location to the ski hill was exactly what we wanted. The shuttle was available every time we went outside. The interior settings were very quaint, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The choice of DVD's helped to pass the evenings by the warm fire after a great day of skiing. We would strongly recommend this condo to anyone in the future. Thank you Glenn for making it easy for us to stay for a few days.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
