Payment due within 7 days of the day you booked, or dates will not be held for you. Payment can be made with credit card, but additional fees will apply.

Rocking Horse Ridge is nestled off the beaten path in the Foothills of Wears Valley, Tennessee, and is surrounded by natural woods.
Rocking Horse Ridge is newly-built, full, log cabin, and a little more on the rustic side. It's decorated with a horse theme in mind. The cabin has one main master bedroom with king-size bed, join in with a pool table and futon for comfort or extra sleeping quarters, accompanied with tub and shower. Upstairs you have a Greatroom, with queen sleeper sofa with memory comfort added, over-stuffed chair, and woodburning fireplace. (Sorry we close our fireplace for off season during the months of May through September for you safety). We do provide you with a simulated fireplace for the romantic nights.
Both Cabins's is perfect for your wedding plans. We provide extra needs for those special Honeymoons. The Cabins is with-in twenty minutes of the Towns of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville and Townsend. Local Airport, Knoxville is within forty-five minutes, and most popular rental cars agents available for your tranportation needs.
We welcome Church groups, re-unions, family get togethers, weddings and business groups.
The upstairs bath has a whirlpool tub for relaxing after a hard day playing in the mountains. Our kitchen has full amenities, including dishes, glassware, as well as pot and pan for cooking. Barbecue Grill for having those family get-together. Rocking Horse Ridge will sleep six persons comfortable, we provide linens and towels for your needs. Wrap-around decks and plenty of rockers and swings. Hot tub for relaxing and enjoying the view daytime or night.
We will soon be offering horse stable, you can bring your horses and ride the 40 plus acres with trails and logging roads. Friendly neighborhood with adjoining properties. Take you horses to the Smoky Mountains for a true pleasurable trial ride.
The furniture at Rocking Horse Ridge is rustic and most are hand made by a local craftsmen (Wade Richardson - Mountain Sage Gallery - Townsend) be sure to visit the gallery which provide lots of local artist's works.
Rocking Horse Ridge and our Cabin Shadyann is located in the heart of East Tennessee’s, Smoky Mountain vacation area. The cabins is located within minutes of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Townsend, known as the "quiet side of the Smoky’s." Pigeon Forge provides entertainment for all ages and is the home of "Dollywood."
Gatlinburg is known for the artisans of Tennessee who display their wares on the drive through, their Galleries located on a loop road in town. Townsend gives way to the West entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cades Cove, an 11 mile single lane drive that takes you back in time to what life was like in the Smoky Mountains during the preceding century with old churches, schools and homes actually lived in by the pioneers of Tennessee among herds of Deer and other wildlife native to the Valley. This end of the Smoky Mountain National Park offers many outdoor activities from fishing, horseback riding to just sitting under a tree with a picnic basket.
