Great location with just a short walk to the guarded beach, Fenwick Island State Park, family dining, a gourmet café and boutique shopping. Keep your boat at the private dock with easy access to the bays. Public launches nearby. Or, try your hand at crabbing, a favorite pastime in Delmarva. After a day on the beach, enjoy hours of family fun in the large yard.
Enjoy great bayside views and relaxed beach living from the house’s four porches, including one sleeping porch. Sleep comfortably in two more bedrooms including one master bedroom and one bedroom with two twin beds. A queen size sleep sofa is also available in the family room. House features one full bath upstairs, one half bath downstairs, a roomy and fully equiped kitchen, a living room with brand new TV and DVD player, and a brand new washer and dryer just off the kitchen.
If you are new to the area, South Bethany Beach is located 5 miles north of Ocean City, Maryland, 10 miles south of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and 1 mile south of Bethany Beach, Delaware. You can easily enjoy the boardwalks, dining, shopping and excitement of all three towns and then seek respite in the quiet, residential town of South Bethany.
If you are familiar with the area, this townhome is located on Bayshore Drive, just north of McCabe's Gourmet Cafe and one street north of Fenwick Island State Park. For a Google map, click on the "More Information" link below.
To get to the beach from the townhome, simply walk one-half block, cross Route 1, then walk one more short block and you are right on the beach. The beaches in South Bethany are guarded from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Photos were accurate. Description is right on. Everything was just as we were told. The owner is concerned that you enjoy the time you are at his townhome. I recommend this to all would be renters. The location is as stated, 2 blocks to a shopping center with a grotto pizza, a gourmet coffee/bakery/deli with nearly everything you could want. Nice big yard for kids to play, and opportunity on the canals to crab.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

This was our second stay. The location is great. We drop our canoe in the canal from the backyard each morning and walk across the street to the beach each afternoon. The decorations are tasteful. Lots of space. And the kitchen has everything you need.

We loved our stay at this property- The location is perfect and the beach is beautiful! The house is well equipt with everything you need- we were surprised there were even extra beach chairs and bikes! The area is quite and we were able to completely relax! We will be back next year for sure!

Your home has all the amenities a family looks for -- and the convenience of the great shops, deli, ice cream parlors, not to mention ocean's proximity. From our Guest Book... Loved that the beach was just a hop, skip and jump away and paddling from the backyard was great. Had fun crabbing off the little dock. House has all the amenities anyone could want, not to mention attractive appointments. Will be in touch about coming back same time next year. Note to future visitors: Don't miss James Farm Ecological Center (Rt. 26). It will be hard to leave beautiful Bethany Beach. It was epic!
