Welcome to our brand new, 7500 square foot, modern, expansive five bedroom, five and a half bath lodge located directly on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge, a short 90 minute drive from Atlanta. The possibilities are endless - plan your family reunion, summer vacation, corporate retreat, leaf watching expedition, girl's getaway, guys fishing trip, golf trip (30 min. from Brasstown Valley resort) or whatever else entails staying in a top of the line new lakefront home, with its own covered floating dock with swim platform just steps away from the approximately 2000 square foot decks, which run the entire width of this lodge that sleeps 14 in complete luxury.

The excitement begins as you drive up the gated driveway and see the exterior of this magnificent house- log siding, large front porch to greet you as you enter the front door. It is hard not to be amazed when you step into the foyer and see for the first time the gathering room with the 31 foot high fieldstone gas fireplace and the 31 foot high vaulted ceiling.

Highlights of this room include 2 leather sofas,2 leather easy chairs, huge picture windows overlooking the lake, wet bar with granite counter tops, sub-zero wine refrigerator, 42" HD TV inside beautiful armoire/entertainment center, corporate-style dining table, commercial ice-maker.

To the right is the ultimate master suite, which includes tiled shower, his and hers sinks, sauna, huge jetted jacuzzi, his and hers walk-in closets, 20 foot high vaulted ceiling, built in entertainment center with 26" plasma/tv/dvd, gas fireplace, and large windows overlooking the lake, and french doors leading to back deck where large hot tub is located.

To the left of the great room is an unbelievable gourmet kitchen, fully equipped with top of the line appliances, including Jen- Aire stove, stainless steel refrigerator/freezer, built-in microwave, trash compactor, and whole house stereo/CD player, with speakers in every room. Kitchen includes two separate dining areas, huge pantry, and extensive granite counter tops.

To the left of the kitchen is the large family room, 20 foot vaulted ceiling, large picture windows overlooking lake with another access to back decks, and also includes another fully equipped entertainment center with brand new Sony HD 57" big screen TV and huge sectional sofa with recliners.There is also a beautiful marble topped bar with 2 tall leather chairs..12 can easily watch the big game or a DVD in this room in laid back comfort.

There are two separate second floor areas, the first is the stairways leading to the sleeping area, where there are four large bedrooms and two complete bathrooms. Before you enter this area, there is a landing/balcony overlooking the great room and includes a built-in library complete with reading/sitting area. The four bedrooms include two with a queen and a set of bunkbeds and the other two have 2 queens each. This large upstairs area sleeps 12 adults comfortably.

Back into the family room is another staircase which leads to an enormous second floor rec room which includes the following features: second fully equipped kitchen, includes built in ice machine, granite counter tops, wet bar with bar stools, pool table, card table, sitting area, another entertainment center with sony 32" flat screen, DVD/VCR and full bathroom - the ultimate party room.

Plenty of outdoor sitting areas, including sun decks, covered porch(with ceiling fans/outdoor speakers/huge Jenaire gas grill) and lakeside deck that has unbelievable lake and mountain views.Also includes outdoor fire pit for winter bonfires.   • The week of July 10, 2006 was filled with wonderful lake front activities. The family enjoyed the lake and the HOUSE! Everything in the house makes this a great place for young and old to enjoy each other and to really feel like you are in a special place. Owner instruction were right on target and needed to enjoy this high tech house. Lake temp was 82 and the water was clear. Definately on my return list!!

  • What an incredible place! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home and piece of paradise! We celebrated my grandparent's 65th wedding anniversary in May with a mini family reunion. There were nearly 20 of us. This lovely home is truly like a resort ... there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The pool table was a wonderful added delight. We have visited Lake Blue Ridge a number of times and this is now our favorite place. We are definitely "lake people". I love to ski and find the water to be "flat" except during the day on Saturday and Sunday. Most of the other time you will find the water like glass ... a skiier's paradise. My husband loves to fish and he and others actually caught a number of fish during our May trip ... that was a first ... he had been convinced that there were no fish in Lake Blue Ridge (haha)! The dock is great ... we brought both of our boats and were very comfortable leaving them there overnight and throughout our stay. We are already scheduled to return in August with a group of friends and hope to get yet another trip booked before the end of the summer.   • Our family had the opportunity to stay at the Lodge after Christmas for a much needed retreat. The lodge is located in the middle of the forest and almost on the lake, it is very remote but conveint to shopping down the road. The lodge is fabulous. We have 8 children and all of them had plently of room. The hot tub and sauna were a great place to relax and the weather was great. Our daughter even had the wonderful opportunity to see a Bald Eagle fly over her. Yes, they do live in Georgia, particularly around lakes and open water areas. We also had the chance to watch a rare winter thunderstorm from inside the house. The lightening show was pretty impressive. We enjoyed playing pool late at night, watching football on the big screen t.v, walking down to the lake and on trails in the woods and cooking in the gourmet kitchen. Michelle Wolven Dallas, Georgia

  • We were here over Thanksgiving 2005. It was a blast. We had 23 members of my family ranging in age from 5 to 79. But, you could still have privacy. We are going to book it for this summer. Absolutely stunning home. The surrounding area is pristine as well.

  • My family and friends spent a long Labor Day weekend at this beautiful Lakefront Resort. We knew we were in for a wonderful relaxing weekend the moment we pulled up in the gated driveway. The pictures from the website do not do justice to detailed craftmanship of this Lodge. We truly felt like we were at a resort, relaxing in the sauna, evenings in the hot tub, playing at the boat dock during the day, and long card games or playing pool till late at night. Of course there was plenty of Football viewing available on the big screen TV's too! Go Georgia! There was something for all of us to do and plenty of room to do it. We have rented many times at the beach and in the mountains and this was by far the best! We will be back!
