Edisto Island is about 12 miles square.The Sea Island Cottage sits in the middle of the island, only 5 miles from the beach, in the historic area of Edisto near many of the Plantation houses, historic churches, and the Edisto Island Historical Museum.
The Sea Island Cottage is nestled under ancient live oak trees, draped with Spanish moss. Constructed in 2003, this charming cottage boasts a tasteful tropical/nautical decor, including its own screened, bamboo tiki hut with fountain. Enjoy the spacious and private one-acre grounds all to yourself. Walking distance to the nearby historic Presbyterian Church, built in the 1800s.
Enjoy Island living at its' best. Spend a sunny day oceanfront and return to the quiet shady grounds of Sea Island Cottage to relax! Not your typical Beach Cottage...this is very nice and very clean with many personal touches! All linens,bathrugs,bed blankets & bed covers are freshly laundered. Perfect getaway spot for couples.
