Greetings from Paradise, where the temperature is 82 degrees, water temperature 80, and the wind SE at 10, just enough breeze to blow sand in my margarita.
"Margarita Villas" are located in historic Old Town in a beautiful, very private gated compound that has won awards as the best development in Florida. (And yes it does have a blender).
It’s just off Duvall Street, with its bustling shops and nightlife; yet quiet and private. Fort Zachary Taylor on the south side of the property has one of our most picturesque beaches located amongst the tall whispering pines of the uplands; the view of the reef and the turquoise waters is magnificent.
The heated pool is conveniently located nearby so you are never far from a refreshing dip or just "conching out" in the sun.
There are two bedrooms and one (or two) baths; the master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, the other, two twins. In the living room a sleep sofa converts into a queen sleeper for extra guests. French doors in the living room open onto the garden deck for outdoor dining or to catch the tropical breezes. Outdoor porch furniture and a gas barbecue are available for cooking your catch or grilling up a casual meal.
The kitchen is completely equipped (including the mandatory BLENDER).
Fully air-conditioned, all rooms have tropical ceiling fans and all linens are provided. There is off street parking for one car.
We have several Condos situated close to one another so we can accommodate large groups.

Windsurfing in the beautiful waters off the Florida Keys.
My name is Michael Wernicoff. I grew up in Ocean City, NJ windsurfing the beaches and sailing the back bays. In 1977, when I was 10 years old, we loaded up our car and with our Hobie Cat sailboat in tow; we set off for our first family trip to the Florida Keys.
The warm breeze and the turquoise waters brought us back every school vacation. First, we rented a small house for a week, The next year a condo for two weeks. A few years later we bought our first home which we rented out between stays ... and Vacation Rentals in Key West was born.
After college I got a "real job", but warm waters and balmy breezes were calling, so I set off to teach windsurfing. First, in Key West, at Smathers Beach then in the Turks and Caicos Islands, St. Lucia and Mexico. I met my wife Darnelle and eventually moved back to Key West. Now we have two little girls who love the emerald waters as much as we do.
When the lovely gated community in the Truman Annex was being built, we knew that it was going to be the best rental location in town and we were right! We now have a wonderful selection of vacation homes and condos to rent, so take a look and give me a call.

This is our groups’ second trip to Key West. Once a year we try to get to get together and escape our hectic reality. Last year we stayed at Eaton & N. Roosevelt but it is too far from the beach and Duval. We are so happy we found this pleasant condo in the Truman Annex. The people are great, the landlord is great. Made some real friends. It is a short walk to Duval We loved the full kitchen and barbeque. Sometimes you just need to eat real food. Key West is not just a place; it’s a state of mind.

We just wanted to write you after returning from our vacation in Key West in your #290 condo at the Truman Annex with our friends, Glen and Linda The condo was so very nice, well-kept, comfortable, and located conveniently to everything. We had a wonderful vacation and thoroughly enjoyed the condo, deck, and pool. It is a beautiful complex and gives the feeling of being "very safe". It was so relaxing yet we were able to do a great deal of sightseeing and shopping as well. We have been to Key West a couple times before, but this was truly a memorable experience. We have already given your business card to another couple who likes to travel to Key West but have usually stayed in a hotel. They were excited when they heard of our experience with the condo, especially in the Truman Annex. It was also nice to meet you and your father and talk with both of you when you stopped by. We had a great time, as usual! This is our second time staying at in the Truman Annex. Very clean, safe, and quiet. We all love the location and how convenient it is to everything. We recommend Ft. Zachary Taylor. Not only is it for a day at the beach, but to watch the gorgeous sunset! Another great spot is La Trattoria on Duval. Yum-O! Very authentic Italian food and nice people! We loved it. This was an excellent place to stay in the Truman Annex, Mike, and Tevis were helpful thru the entire process. We have stayed with them for several years and they always go the extra mile to make sure we are happy. Tevis even took us to the airport the day we checked out. We will be back
