Beach Club is the newest addition to the Beachside Colony community. These condos were just completed March 1st of 2008 and have been professionally decorated. They include gourmet kitchens with granite countertops and maple cabinets. The spacious living and dining room combination allows for a wonderful view of the pool and ocean. This condo allows for access to the Cabana Club, a private club on site with three pools right on the beach. Marlin Monroe's is a fabulous restaurant on site with poolside service and live entertainment on weekends.

Well, for starters, this picture is NOT the same unit we were given upon arrival, however, the same view was provided and the same designer did this unit as well as many others on the property and the color scheme was VERY similar so that's why the one picture is shown. Now, had I gotten there and had not received this view I would have been VERY upset. Clark helped me with this place and was such a help through the whole process. The whole office staff was great. If you have an issue (tiny ironing board for table-top) replaced with standard one in just a few hours, no can opener (they got us one), needed more silverware (it was provided), just let them know and they are happy to help. A few towels are provided, but of course they are not replenished because you have a washer and dryer. You may want to bring your own dishtowels and dishcloths just to stay sane because if you use the kitchen as we do, you will want more than the one provided. As for the review about the dirty floors - yep! They are hard to keep clean on the island -- with slip-resistant ceramic tile and grout it's nearly impossible. I had the privilege of meeting the owner and she said that she was getting a Dyson. That afternoon, I saw the cleaning lady with one on her cart so I have to believe this will help! One other thing, the chairs and table had loose legs, but I reported it and it should have been taken care of! The decor was really nice and they didn't skimp on window treatments or fabrics, so it's just a matter of maintenance. I know this sounds like a mixed bag of information, but I love this place and will hopefully get to return maybe next year. I'm just going for full disclosure. This was our second time on Tybee and we stayed in this same beach area both times and if you have small children, you just can't beat it. Three pools, one is heated and 5 feet is the greatest depth. Your private beach access is just beyond the pools. You can see both from this unit. The public library is across the street and directly behind it is a sweet little park that kids will love! The Marine Science Center is near the public pier and is supposed to be great, but we ran out of time as Savannah is just 20 minutes away and we spent our time there:)
Recommended for:People with disabilities, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

My family and I just spent a week in this condo for our kid's Spring break. I don't understand the other reviews because I have nothing but positive comments and great things to say about the condo and the visit ! It was clean upon arrival and well maintained. In fact, it still looked fairly new. It had a great kitchen which was equipped well so that we didn't have to eat out a lot. The view from the balcony was an ocean view and looked over the 3 pools. One of the pools was heated and a great experience! There is a great restaurant on the property and it was a great location for walking along the beach to the main pier and main street. Upon arrival there were no towels in the condo. We went to the office/desk and were given all that we needed and an extra roll of paper towels. The fry pan in the kitchen was scaped up and my wife didn't feel comfortable using it. I went to the office and by that afternoon we had a new fry pan and new pots and pans! I feel that if the guests who left the other comments would have made the office aware of any problems or missing items, that the desk would have contacted the owner and that it would have been provided. My family and I can't wait to go back to Tybee and the Beachside Resort.
Recommended for:Pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

I wouldn't stay here again. Here are some reasons: 1) The description says the condos were just completed in March. Well, that is not of THIS year, so the condos were older than I expected. 2) There are three pools, but one is a kiddy pool and the other two are VERY VERY small. And they seem to be shared with at least one neighboring condo community. 3) The floor was filthy when we checked in. After walking around for a couple of minutes, our feet were completely black. 4) The unit was terribly understocked. For a unit that sleeps six, there were 2 bowls, 1 tall glass, 1 short glass, only one pot which was a tiny one, no baking treys or cookie sheets, etc. We requested more from the property management, and they provided only a couple of things - still no where close to being enough for six people.

The picture on the web-site is NOT a picture of the view!! This condo looks out onto a climbing playgrpound that can get quite loud. There is NO ocean view. The condo is advertised as having a "FULLY Equipped" kitchen but, the pots were "Peeling" and the cookie sheets were "Rusty". There were NO hot pads, one kitchen towel and NO hand-towels in the bathrooms!!!! We had to go buy several items that should have been provided. I will say that the staff was very nice and I was impressed with the pool staff, but I would NEVER return to this condo, nor would I recommend it!!!
