My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well furnished, and the mattresses were comfortable. The view from both decks looked out over the ocean. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the decks and watching the beautiful sunsets. Beach chairs were furnished which was a great plus! This property is close to everything....shops at Seaside, fantastic restaurants (The Red Bar, Cafe Thirty A, Christiano's, Another Broken Egg), a Publix grocery store, and of course, the beach! We hope to return again and highly recommend this property.

Peaceful and relaxing
Great condo...clean and furnished with everything you need. We rode the entire 20 miles of 30A and the access is close to the condo. Grayton Park is also close and Kayaking was terrific there. This condo is at the very end of public beach and borders a large state park (Deer Lake, I think)...so private beach is easy to find! Internet and Cable TV did not work first night but it was a problem with the service provider...could not be helped. Our stay was perfect.

Great location, very clean and most of all convienant to beach. We stayed here with our 2 kids(2&4) and was really close to beach so carrying all our stuff and the trips back and forth were very easy and short. Only thing we had a problem with was the Internet hard to connect and stay connected bit we were on vacation so wasn't a big deal to be unconnected lol. We will be back very family oriented beach and would recommend to any family

Great family vacation
Great family vacation
Great location, only steps from the beach! We really loved the 30A area. Great to ride bikes, great restaurants. We loved that the area was not too crowded, but also not too far from Destin. You have to try the Donut Hut if you are in the area, they are delicious! The townhouse was just as pictured. We had plenty of room for our family of 5. My girls loved the bunk beds and the hammock on the deck. Great views of the gulf from both front decks!

It really is On the Beach
It really is On the Beach
Two adults and two 16-year-olds had more than enough room. Two more teenagers would have fit comfortably in their room because of the large bunk bed. Tom, the owner, is very polite to first time callers and very attentive. We were given the code to enter upon arrival, and when that didn't work, a friendly maintenance man arrived within 10 minutes to update the code. With the car under the large covered parking spot (keeps the car cool), we entered the apartment and up the stairs. On that floor, you have a large kitchen that overlooks the living room, which opens onto a covered porch, which is furnished and overlooks the ocean with a sunset view. There is also a bathroom on this floor. All is very nice and clean and roomy. Going up the stairs to the top floor, you have a very comfortable king bed with a balcony and bathroom. This furnished balcony is covered, overlooks the ocean, and gets the same sunset view. Gorgeous. The bathroom has double sinks and the room has double closets. The short hallway between the master and the 2nd bedroom holds a washer and dryer closet and another full bath for the 2nd bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has a full and large bunkbeds. This balcony gets the morning sun and is not covered - great for suntanning. It overlooks the neighbors backyard and a bit of the ocean. The kids loved the privacy. There are 3 TVs (both bedrooms and living room), a stereo, a well-stocked kitchen. The grocery store is 15 minutes away. This middle unit is one of very few (5 maybe?), so it is quiet and private. We did not hear (or see) our neighbors very often. The beach, just steps away, is also quiet since the location is far from high rises and next to a park (so no future high rises!). This is why we chose this unit. We rented bikes (cheap) and the teenagers were in Seaside in 20 minutes, using the very safe and popular bike lanes, bypassing the traffic. We went for spring break so the teenagers could experience Seaside, which is packed with high schoolers (not many college students). The weather required sweatshirts and only the brave got in the water, but I hear that it is usually warmer. We were scheduled to leave on Friday, but because we were having so much fun, we checked the VRBO calendar to see if Saturday night was already rented. It was not, so we called Tom, who happily agreed to let us stay one more night. He's a great guy. We will be back.

My family and I have enjoyed this beautiful place 2 years in a row! It is in a perfect location and has everything you will need to make your stay Perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a family would need to cook at home after going to Goatfeathers a short drive away. It has easy access to shops and great restaurants. The view is beautiful from the den and upstairs master bedroom. I would recommend this property to anyone based on everything from cleanliness, comfort, perfect owner management and SERENITY!!

Location and comfort!
Location and comfort!
This was a last minute mother/daughter shopping and beach trip. Since I am a travel associate, I wanted to check out the different beach communities, shops, and restaurants (Georges, La Crema, Great Southern Cafe, The Red Bar,) all along 30A. Whenever possible I like to stay in a VRBO and I was looking for one right on the beach. This one was perfect. The listing and photos were accurate. The townhouse is lovely, very clean, and the beach view was beautiful! It was easy to drive to all the places we wanted to go, including to Silver Sands outlet in Sandestin and Destin Commons for shopping. The owner was very accessible and accommodating and provides just about everything you need for a week or a month, with the exception of groceries :), (and household supplies for more than a few days.) There are stairs up to the main floor from the carport, and stairs up to the bedrooms. It was nice to have a half bath on the first floor. We did not rent bicycles but there are companies that you can rent from that will deliver. Next time we plan to do this as there are bike paths for miles through the different beach communities. We had no issues and I highly recommend this property. Thank you, Tom!

Our family of 4 stayed here during Spring Break and the location is excellent. The walk over to the beach was so easy with our children. The digital lock was so convenient as well - no worries about keys! The photos do not do the home justice. It was very clean and well stocked. The beds were so comfortable! And tvs in each room was a bonus. Even during Spring Break, the complex was quiet which we loved. The unit has an amazing view of the beach and surf from both balconies. We saw dolphins just off shore and the beach was uncrowded being right near Deer Lake State Park. We have rented homes off of Hwy 30A for 7 years and yet we are looking forward to coming back to this location in the future! The owners were very responsive and helpful in answering any questions. We highly recommend this location for those looking for a relaxing, beautiful beach vacation.

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving week here and it was one of the best vacations we have had. We knew we liked the 30A area because of the beautiful beaches, restaurants and bicycle paths. Sea Shell on the Beach was amazing, the beach at your door step, sunsets that take your breath away and a comfortable home away from home. The townhouse was larger than expected, so clean and tidy and the bed was not only comfortable the sheets were even superior! We have stayed at other VRBO properties and while they were not horrible they were sometimes not up to par. But Sea Shell was so perfect we can't wait to go back. The owner was easy to work with and helpful. We highly recommend this vacation property!
