Perfect spot for our 10 days in San Jose del Cabo. Idyllic well kept setting, beautiful complex clean, friendly staff busy working all day long. Well equipped condo with everything you need including as many Canadian TV channels as you could have (hockey playoffs). There is sun all day long on at least one of the 2 sides of the balconies. Small balcony table for meals is great. With the sliding doors open to allow for a great cross breeze, and the ceiling fans on, there was no need for us to use the A/C. The van is terrific...very handy to use for touring, sightseeing, shopping, or even if you only go as far as picking up groceries. The van is very handy. The grocery store is not too far to walk to, but it is great to not have to walk back with an armload of bags. Taxis are not cheap, but, an honest Mexican taxi driver is an oxymoron, and zero cost for the van (except gas) is still cheaper than the cheapest taxi ride. The 2 minor nuisances are the very powerful surf (ideal for boogy boards, body surfing or surfboarding, but not good for swimming if you have small children...but a very relaxing tranquil sound) , and the proximity to the busy road, but you get used to the noise, and the loud pounding surf noise most often masks the vehicle traffic. You can always sleep with earplugs if the sound of the road, or the surf is bothersome to you. For the price, especially with the bonus van to use, I cannot imagine why anyone would stay anywhere else. We highly recommend this unit to you, and would plan to return to this unit anytime we consider a return to this area of Mexico.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Beautifully and fully equipped A/C condo with all the "extras" .. 2 ceiling fans,satellite TV, wireless internet, full kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge/freeze, etc.. and BBQ on balcony in a totally central, private, friendly, clean complex right on the beach with 3 swimming pools and 3 Jacuzzi pools (only 1 was "hot", but the other 2 were nice and warm). One of best features of this corner unit is a large balcony on 2 sides with sun shining all day - sun up to sun down. You are never in the shade unless you want to put up your sun umbrella. The 4 lane highway is busy, but the road noise is bearable, and the sound of the surf is nice. The location for the sun more than makes up for the disadvantage of being closer to the road. The waves are rough and high for swimming, but great for boogie boards, body surfing and surfboarding. If you have children with you, I would swim elsewhere. Wonderful to have the van for trips to town, sightseeing and to go to the Mega grocery store, Wal Mart or Costco nearby. We highly recommend this condo to anyone interested in San Jose del Cabo. We were there for 10 glorious days, daytime temperature mid-80's and not a cloud in the sky, evening warm and bug-free. We cannot wait to go back!! We have just returned from another fabulous 2 weeks at this condo and cannot say enough about the comfort and amenities offered. The grounds and pools are immaculate, the beach and surf close by. The condo is close to shopping and restaurants but with the van available, we could go shopping, golfing, touring around anywhere and any time we wanted. Peter the property manager greeted us by leaving us some chocolate squares and Mocha mix when we arrived for our first morning coffee and then met with us the following day. The condo is fully equipped with cable TV and Wifi. It has has a comfy queen bed, large walk-in tile shower, newly renovated kitchen with great appliances and stocked with everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and pampered. It was great preparing our meals and dining out on the balcony overlooking the pools and beach. What a view! We used the BBQ often and enjoyed the sunsets while sitting outside on the many balconies. Yes, there is some road noise but not enough for us not to use the balconies as a previous visitor claimed. The road noise just got drowned out by the sounds of the pounding surf. From the balconies and from our walks on the beach we also watch whales and rays playing and flipping in the waves. We found our second time at the condo more relaxing due to being more familiar with the unit/van and knowing what to expect but also knowing that mostly all we needed was there and anything else can be bought at the nearby Mega grocery store, Wal-Mart or Costco. The condo is very clean and tastefully decorated. We talked to two other couples who were renting other units in the same building and they were amazed at what this condo offered in addition to the convenience of the van, in comparison to theirs. So thank-you Kath and Norm for another wonderful vacation experience at your condo. Please book us for next year. I am a returning renter and my wife and I just returned came back from a two week visit in Norm and Kathy’s condo at Mykonos. I felt I needed to send in my review of the condo after reading the previous visitor’s review. The last one painted such a jaded view of a wonderful spot. Yes there is road noise but after the first day it just becomes background sound and we really didn’t notice it. We ate all of our meals on the deck off the living room overlooking the pools and ocean. It was so romantic. Mother Nature was kind to us and the winds never blew. A colling breeze was welcome now and then. I really enjoyed cooking pancakes for breakfast using the grill that fits onto the barbeque. The queen bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The van was perfect for exploring, visiting Cabo, shopping, as well as going to the snorkeling beaches. I know how to use a broom and mop, so cleaning was easy. We again will return. This was our third winter at Mykonos, we took this condo as it had a vehicle, you really do not need a vehicle at Mykonos, you can walk to the Mega store quite easily and cabs are cheap, you can take the bus into Los Cabos easily and the local bus into San Jose del Cabos with a short walk. The condo is compact, nice new kitchen, granite counters, however, the road noise is unbearable. we closed the doors to enjoy some peace and quiet. The balconies are unusable, the one facing the ocean isnot deep and has two leather chairs as seen in the photo's the table as in the photo is not there , instead it is a wooden table. The side balcony, larger balcony is facing the road and extremely loud and we used it for drying our bathing suits on the clothes hanger. Many days the wind, blew the plastic chairs around, we never sat out on this balcony. Since I have been to Mykonos three times the WOW factor is gone, the condo's in building C are gorgeous and I would only rent in Building. C if I returning. The balconies are large and spacious with lovely loungers and out door furniture which is important as you want to spend your time outside, they are more expensive, but worth it. I would have liked to have breakfast on the balcony but it is very windy as it is a end unit, and Extremely Noisy-"the highway from hell is right beside you" If you do not mind the constant noise, all day and all night you would love this condo, it is cheap compared to others in the comples. We had asked to hold it for 2013-14 but decided we could not take it for another vacation, due to the Highway Noise. Some condos in B building only have road noise from outside when entering your condo, you do not hear it inside, but due to the location of this condo the road noise is constant, and annoying. The owners were easy to deal with, the furniture was fine, the kitchen is well equipped there is NO dishwasher so I had to re wash the glasses before using them as they were all fingerprinted and dirty from the last renters. The bed is the one bedroom is a Double, we are used to a KING so this was a bit of a tight fit. I recommend the owners purchase a vacumm or some small appliance that would make it easies for their tennants to clean up easily, the broom and string mop did not work for me. We did get the cleaning service in again, as when we arrived the cupboards were all marked, the fridge had not been cleaned, it was christmas so the cleaners were probably in a hurry to get home on XmasRecommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+.

We had the good fortune to spend one week at this wonderful condo. Only regret is we should've stayed longer! The unit is immaculately kept and the location is amazing. It has three wonderful pools and hot tubs and then the beach is just steps away. And if surfing is your thing then this is the place to be! What more could you want. The unit was stocked with everything you could possibly need; a quick trip to the store to buy your fresh food and you are good to go. The van is a huge bonus and it was no problem to drive around in San Jose or Cabo. The staff are friendly and efficient - the grounds are beautifully maintained! It really was a pleasure to stay here and we would recommend this place to anyone - young or old!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I had the good fortune to spend a whole month (Sept. 1st-30th 2011) at Kathy's and Norm's beautiful condo at Mykonos. I saw the published pictures on the wesite, but on arrival and opening the door, stepping inside, my first word was, WOW ! First impression better than the pictures. Not only was the a/c on, (a great relief), but all the keys needed and a lttle note of welcome from Peter (owners Property Manager), that he will be dropping by in half an hour, to explain the remaider in regards to the condo and car. Even before I unpacked, I took at least 25 pictures, inside, outside, view (breathtaking), pools, and so on. The condo is very well equipped, I even found a small professional cocktail shaker and all kinds of small amenities, which one would only have in his home. Condo is very clean, well kept, comfortable and has this "I feel like home" ambiance. Next day I explored the grounds, pools and beach. Again WOW ! This is paradise. The grounds and pools are very well taken care off. Staff and Building Management, friendly and helpful, including staff maning the security gates. The car ( I called it "DAS AUTO" ) being european, all thought it is from japanese parents, was god send. I stayed a few times in privious years in San Jose and find staying more than 10 days, warrants a car rental, which could be expensive in Mexico. Two flat screen satelite TV's, DVD, CD, WiFi, Cel. phone, more channels than I have at home, distilled water, a small safe and owners who are very helpful and quickly to respond of any small problems one might have. Norm, Kathy and Peter on-site, what a team. Thank you. A satisfied customer is a returning one. Two days after my return, I booked with Norm for another full month in 2012. Looking forward the the compltely renovated kitchen and bathroom, Looks fab.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Nice unit and complex. Everything in this unit worked perfectly, wifi, updated TV's, satellite, dvd and the best bed that we have slept on in Mexico. 2 decks one with shade and one with sun, nice corner unit. Grounds are kept up nicely, saw 3 workers there every day. Owner was great to work with and his property manager Pete was great, his wife even baked us some muffins for our breakfasts. Much better than Mira Vista or La Jolla. We'll be back next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My wife and I just returned from our vacation. The condo clean and had everything we needed. The van was so handy. It saved us a ton of money. The views were fabulous. The weather was also fabulous. The traffic noise was not as bad as people have mentioned. We can't wait to return and we will rent the Rettie's unit again, especially since they are renovating the kitchen and bathroom in October.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

What a great place Mykonos is! Our stay at Mykonos was fantastic..There was hardly anyone there which was great, no one by the pool. It was like our own place.
