We were looking for a home that offered privacy but we didnt want to be too far removed from the hot spots of Breckenridge. Well this home was perfect! Only around 2.5 miles from town it was behind a private gate and there were no other homes around. The views were amazing and we definately soaked up the scenery in the hot tub on the deck. It was our own little retreat. the house itself was cozy and the convection oven in the kitchen cooked the best pizza. We would stay here again and again.Did you find this review helpful? Our family was looking for a vacation home in Breckenridge and we decided that this home best fit our needs. This home completely exceeded our expectations!! First of all, its only two miles to town which made a quick trip to town super easy. We cooked every night in the completely updated kitchen (granite countertops, new appliances, the works) The house is on several acres, so we also loved being able to hike the trails that are right outside the back door. The open floor plan made it very nice for the entire family and the floor to ceiling windows were just spectacluar as we enjoyed the views!!! The best part was we decided to bring our beloved pet beagle, Daisy, and she loved being able to run in the completely fenced in yard ( which was very large). Sitting in the outside hot tub on the deck at night watching the elk and deer was also one of the highlights. We are currently planning another trip to Breckenridge and we would not even think about staying anywhere else!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Just spent two weeks in this home. I would never stay here again. One night, the electricity went out four times. My husband uses a breathing machine at night. I called the emergency off hours number that I was given, and was told that someone would call me back in half an hour. I waited up all night, no one returned my call. I have reported my concerns in person as well and never heard back. When I called during the day, I was told that frequent electricity outages were to be expected. (I think the surrounding homes had emergency generators). My husband ended up staying in Denver for several days. Also, For the price I paid (And that is another complaint that I won't get into), to expect renters to lose privacy while the house is being shown to prospective buyers is outrageous. --yes, thats right, we had to change our plans for a daily outing until the real estate agent and two strangers went through the property. I was afraid to let strangers there with my husbands medical equipment and medications without supervision. The only reason I would give this a "fair" rating is that the view of the mountains is beautiful. Renters beware!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners.
