Great for a family

We stayed here with our two little guys (2.5 yrs and 6 months) in September. The condo was perfect for our family's needs. The owners have outfitted it perfectly and thought of extra touches to make it easier on families (i.e. pack n play, beach towels, beach chairs). Our 2 yr old loved the turtles in the pond out front and we all enjoyed the gorgeous view. The pool is immaculate and the condo building is in a convenient location. The owners were very helpful and prompt with questions we had before our trip. We've rented other beach homes and condos before and I've never stayed in one this clean- which is a huge plus. We're hoping to return!

Our family really enjoyed our stay last week! The beach was not crowded at all even though it was a holiday week and the walk to the beach was short. The condo was very clean and everything in it was up to date. My teenage daughters loved the shops (especially the coffee/Ice Cream shop) located right next door to us. The condo was virtually sound proof and had a great ocean view. This was my 4th visit to the Destin area and we will definitely stay here again. Much quieter than Destin and just as beautiful.

Fun Week at Gulf Place Caribbean at "The Lookout at the Beach"

The Lookout at the Beach is a very well maintained and owner "cared for condo". The beds are comfortable, the decor of the unit makes one feel like they are "at the beach" and the owner provided amenities are wonderful and thoughtful. The kitchen was furnished with everything and more one would need for a week or longer. Again attention to detail by the owner. The pool was nice and a good place to spend late afternoon for a cool off after coming off the beach. Can get a little crowded but not too bad. The only draw back to our stay was the building elevator. During our stay a number of families got stuck on the elevator and while building maintenance did get the elevator running again, once one gets "stuck" it makes one "shy" about getting back on. The elevator was not "down" for long periods of time; but it did stop working on numerous occasions. We recommend without hesitation "The Lookout at the Beach".

Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car.

This condo is even better than the pictures! Very clean with lots of extras that you don't have to pack like beach towels and beach chairs. The view was great and the access to the beach was really close. We loved the pool and hot tub. The owners are above and beyond super nice! If you come to 30A this is the place to stay! Don't waste your time looking for something better you won't find any better than this. Book it and get to the beach!

We just spent a wonderful relaxing week in your beautiful condo with our best friends. The condo was exactly as described, and the photos were very accurate in describing the furnishings and the amazing view. We had stayed on the 2nd floor of this complex before and now we much prefer the 4th floor with the great view of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. The entire Gulf Place Caribbean complex is very well maintained with beautiful landscaping and very clean pools and grounds. The owners were very responsive and helpful in the booking process, and we received our security deposit back very quickly. We definitely recommend this condo to anyone - perfect for two couples or a family. We have fallen in love with Santa Rosa Beach with all its charm and laid back atmosphere. We rented bicycles right down the street and spent many fun hours riding up and down scenic Highway 30-A. We will be back next year! Thanks for helping us to have a wonderful vacation.

Wow! What a great condo at Gulf Place Caribbean. Not only is the view terrific, but the condo had everything a guest could ask for! The beautiful furnishings were exactly as described and photographed. The kitchen had all the appliances and cookware so we were able to prepare multiple meals at the condo. The owners were very quick to respond to questions before and during our visit and there is a binder full of local information on places to dine, shop, etc. My husband and I chose to stay at Gulf Place because of all the amenities (pools, tennis, etc.) and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived that there was a concert scheduled at the amphitheater for that evening! The beach is literally across the street with multiple access points and is just as beautiful as ever! We highly recommend "Lookout At The Beach" and love the Santa Rosa Beach area. Until we return!!

What a beautiful, CUTE 'home away from home' at Santa Rosa Beach!! It was truly a treat for us 3 'girls' to tan on the beach, sleep late, and refresh ourselves. Appreciated hosts providing beach towels and all the beach gear tucked away in our condo to tote to the waterfront. Everything in the condo was immaculate, up to date, worked great - very comfortable! A stunning, quiet location! We loved just staring at the beach/Gulf waters from our 4th floor patio, and yet had such fun exploring Hwy 30A - quick drives to nearby Grayton and Watercolor/Seaside, in addition to Destin to the west, where we all parasailed for the first time! Wonderful pools available, convenient parking, and walking trails along the quiet highway, leading to some nearby shops. Only 5 miles away, a new Walmart JUST OPENED the week we were there.... economical, familiar shopping for necessities - but lots of unique, cute shops and restaurants in the seaside towns, a few within walking distance. Our only challenge: connecting to internet. But we were here to vacation, after all!!

We enjoyed sitting in the livingroom looking out at the ocean every day of our stay. Your cono was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. There even was a reminder to "Relax". The weather was perfect and the sunsets were gorgeous.

We really enjoyed our time at your condo. We loved the view from the balcony...my girls (5 and 8) loved looking for turtles in the lake and my wife and I liked that we could see the ocean. It is a very easy and short walk to the beach. The condo is in a great location that is within walking distance of a few restaurants, shops, etc. The condo is well decorated and stocked and is very confortable. My girls also loved the fun sea-themed bunk bed area. I like that it is a top floor unit because you get the best views and it is very quiet. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Our family of 4 to include two teen girls enjoyed our time at The Lookout. The condo was clean and well-equipped. The booking process through the owners was pleasant and effortless. Although we have stayed at Gulf Place numerous times before, the view from this top floor unit can't be beat. Easy access to the pool, beach, and shops of Gulf Place with an easy drive to any other places along 30A that you may want to experience. Although our stay was during the oil spill, the beach was just as pristine as ever.

My family and I had a great experience at the unit. It is spacious, clean, with easy access to the beach, bike trails and many other attractions. The listing description was accurate (including the photos), the owners were very pleasant to deal with, and everything went very smoothly. If you're looking for a quiet, pleasant experience close to the Gulf, this is a great place to stay.

Our family recently visited this condo, and really loved it. It was nicely furnished, and if you like to cook--had the best cooking equipment I've ever seen in a rental condo. There's a seafood market just down the street.... The view was spectacular. We were there in Mid-March, and it was a little chilly/windy to be walking on the beach for a few days, but we still felt like we were on vacation just because we could see the water from the living room. It's in a quiet area, but you will find what you need. It's only about 15 minutes to the really great outlet malls and many restaurants. Thanks for a great vacation!

My husband Tommy and I just spent 5 glorious days at Gulf Place Carribean #302. This beautifully furnished condo was just perfect. It faced 30A, was nearby to great restaurants and stores and was just what the doctor ordered for us! I highly recommend this rental and hope to come back soon. Ann Ballenger Eufaula, Alabama P.S. This unit was fantastic! We loved it! unit has a wonderful view of the ocean and evening sunset! A 3 minute walk to the beach was a real plus and a wonderful pool to cool off in was also great. You are walking distance to the shops, restaurants so if you forget something...no need to drive. The unit is nicely decorated and nice and neat. There is plenty of room for the family to enjoy

This vacation unit was wonderful. We found it to be very neat, comfortable, and decorated beautifully. The gulf view was fantastic. The amentities were plentiful (great pool, tennis courts, and BBall courts). Free concerts for the family at town center, several shops and restaurants within walking distance. We could also rent bikes and/or kayaks at Moon Doggies. Thanks so much for your hospitality. We have many fond memories. We will definately return as soon as we can!!!
