  This was our fifth vacation to Barbados and specifically to Holetown. We brought another couple with us and this was their first trip to the Carribean. Villa Escape was paradise to quote Lee who was travelling with us. It was everything we expected and more. We were six and so enjoyed having the space. My rating is 4 Good because the ceiling fan in two of the bedrooms didn't work although the air conditioners worked fine. But it would have been nice to just have the fan sometimes. The kitchen was well equipped and the BBQ a nice extra. We used it a couple of times. We usually had breakfast and lunch at the Villa and often went out for dinner. Georgiana, our housekeeper, took great care of us. She is a gem and it was wonderful to see her again. Villa Escape is close to the grocery store and after our initial shopping trip, which we had delivered by taxi, we just walked over whenever we needed something. There is also a nice fruit stand just aorund the corner. It is also close to many great restaurants, both low and high priced. We were able to use the beach at Discovery Bay and rent beach chairs at a very reasonable rate. The villa was very clean and has many security features. We felt very safe there. The Clark's (the owners) were extremely helpful and provided lots of information. I would definitely recommend Villa Escape if you want something a little different than the all inclusive. We will definitely be reserving Villa Escape again

  OMG! This place was spacious! The best mangos - There was a large mango tree in the frontyard -we ate fresh mangoes daily, and prepared smoothies. It was the perfect place for our group to stay - We enjoyed our stay immensely. We were close to the beach - A bus ride away to various other pristine beaches, walking distance to restaurants, my favorite "Just Grillin" excellent fish dinners - A most go to eat! Mews is a good breakfast place to eat. You are in walking distance to Limegrove(favorite club locals hang out) fantastic music - Shopping malls, and not far from Westmoreland a beautiful golf course. I will be back! Many thanks to the staff at Villa escape in making our stay enjoyable.

  The best thing about Villa Escape is its location. Secluded garden in the middle of Holetown. Nobody disturb you but you are still just a walk away from everything. Bus stop around the corner linked us with everything we wanted to see in Barbados. House was clean and had lots of space. Actually in real life it looks better and bigger than on the photos. Since we came from cold winter - our favorite place was definitely the terrace. Barbados is quite expensive but fully equipped kitchen did let us cook our own meals.   I stayed at this property with 3 friends in November 2008.What a great place,central for all our needs the property was maintained by a lady by the name of Georgie nothing was to much for her she is a star. Try Tides for a meal,superb service and great food try surfside bar on the beach at Holetown for a less formal meal Mike and his staff will make you feel at home

  The villa provided a wonderful first experience for me in the Caribbean. It is situated at quite an ideal location on the island, right across the street from a beautiful beach with jetskiing and snorkelling availible anytime we wanted. Everything you could need (groceries, bank...) is within 5 minutes walking distance. The villa itself is beautiful, the high ceilings were a great surprise, making all the rooms feel so spacious. We had all the fans constantly running for a nice breeze throughout the house, and they were a blessing in the bedrooms at night. It was also nice to have the security of the safes in the bedrooms, as well as the wrought iron on all the exterior doorways, since we left the doors open a good part of the time for the breeze. Georgiana took beautiful care of the house, and had a wealth of helpful information about the area. All in all a wonderful vacation spot, will definitely be going back!

  The villa lived up to our expectations. It was in an ideal location, close to the local shops, supermarket, numerous restaurants and close to great beachs. The fact it was close to the main road was not a problem, be cause the local buses stopped outside. So in effect we did not need a car to get around. The villa was a very good size so offered lots of space to relax in. We recieved very good information from the owner before our visit. This was our third visit to Holetown and one of our party as difficulty walking sometimes. But this wasnt a problem because Villa escape was handy for all the local amenities. Another bonus was the maid Georgiana, who was very good and very helpfull. She kept the villa very clean and was always able to answer our questions. The property was very clean and reasonabley maintained. The minor problems where that the fans in the bedrooms did not work, but the owner did warn us of this before our visit. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was a godsend because it was very hot during our stay. Maybe air condioning in the lounges could be something to consider for future developement. The safe in the bedroom did not work but this wasnt a problem as the Villa was very secure. We had a great stay and would certainly recommend it to other people.

  This was our first vacation to Barbados. We were just with the two of us. We found Villa Escape a nice and charming villa and Barbados is great! We give a rate of 4 because we were disappointed that not everything worked well, for example the ceiling fan in the master bedroom (and we don't like using the air conditioning) and the tv and safe didn't work. Also the computer needs to be updated. We haven't sit in the garden or on the terrace once as we found it to close to the main road and therefor, to noisy. Georgiana is great and we loved her. However, we had a great vacation and did enjoy our stay in the Villa.

  The property was as described and was clean and well-maintained. The owner provided good customer service and I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. We were close to the beach for swimming and the restaurants nearby were fabulous (if expensive!). The maid service was also great and we liked Georgie very much!

  The description on the web site is accurate. The villa is in a good area (Hole Town- central to the west coast) across the street from the beach. It is a good location to launch off on site seeing trips. It is within minutes walking to many good restaurants.The Villa was clean and well equiped. The housekeeper is very pleasant and will help you with anything you need. The bottom line is that we were very happy with our accomodations and the opportunity to enjoy what Barbados had to offer.
