Bearly Irresistible, a Canaan Valley vacation rental, is located within the 24 hour gated area of Old Timberline. We are within a minutes drive to Timberline Ski Resort. We are within 10 minutes of Canaan Valley Ski resort. Our mountain home, located in Canaan Valley, West Virginia, is a wonderful place to enjoy your winter, spring, summer or fall vacation, family get-together or Canaan Valley or Timberline ski vacation.
Each room in our house is decorated for comfort. It’s a perfect home for your whole family to settle in and enjoy with room for extended family and friends. While our home is spacious (over 5800+ sq ft) it offers privacy and a coziness and offers more than your typical Canaan Valley Cabin Rental. We are located on a 5+ acre wooded lot.
Hiking is plentiful in the area. There are five bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are master bedroom suites. The bedrooms are very comfortable with luxury linens and unique Amish and mountain furnishings. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.
Bearly Irresistible, near Timberline offers an open floor plan with extensive use of glass. The main floor offers a Great Room with a 20-foot knotty-pine cathedral ceiling. In this room one can sink comfortably into a large sectional sofa and enjoy the wood burning, floor to ceiling hand-cut stone fireplace. Also, on this floor is a master suite which has a king-sized bed, private bath with Jacuzzi tub and private deck.
Curl up on the hanging swing and read your favorite book or sip your favorite libation and enjoy the fresh Canaan Valley air and wildlife. Satellite TV in room. There is plenty of room for your luggage in this huge walk-in closet. On the same floor, there is a second bedroom with a queen-sized Montana pine bed with a micro-suede duvet and down comforter. This bedroom has a bathroom that doubles as the main floor “powder room”.
The main floor also boasts a laundry room, huge fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with everything that you need to cook your holiday dinners, (if you don’t want to cook there are a few excellent restaurants nearby). All appliances are GE profile complete with a double oven with the top one being convection. There is plenty of room for the whole family to help with the cooking. The kitchen is very spacious.
When your meal is complete, get everyone together and sit for dinner at our large hand-crafted Amish oak table that seats 10 comfortably. The raised bar area seats four additional people. Don’t want to cook indoors? We have provided a gas grill on the spacious deck. From the deck you can view some of the wild life Canaan Valley has to offer. The laundry room contains a high capacity front loading washer and dryer (Whirlpool H3).
The upper level of our home offers 3 bedrooms, two baths and a loft. The master bed room suite offers a hand-crafted Amish oak sleigh bed, private balcony complete with bistro table and chairs, master bath with Jacuzzi tub, heated towel rack, desk and it’s own TV with satellite hook-up. Also, on the upper level there are two additional rooms with a king and queen sized beds that share a bathroom. Also, on that floor is a loft with couch, chair, TV and stereo. A perfect area for video game playing or watching DVD's.
The lower level houses the family/rec room. The rec room has a big screen TV with surround sound, DVD player and VCR. There is also a wet bar. On this level there is also a Brunswick pool table, foosball table, and a Texas Hold’em poker table. The lower level also has a full bathroom. A wood stove will keep your warm and cozy.
This room has a full sized futon. The room is tastefully decorated with sports memorabilia. Off of the rec room is the hot tub room. This room houses a Therma Spa hot tub with over 80 jets waiting to message your tired body. This room is decorated in a nautical theme.
A crib, toddler bed, high chair and booster seat are available. Please ask in advance.
