My friend, my daughter and I stayed here for almost a week and we could not have asked for a better place. There are 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 baths, in addition to extra mattresses that could be put anywhere. My daughter likes falling asleep to the TV so we put the full-sized mattress in the living room for her while my friend and I occupied the other 2 rooms. We had come to the area to dive and were within 0.3 miles of the dive shop in which another of my daughters worked. It was very convenient, located on the canal, and we were very pleased with the accommodations. The house was very clean with tiling throughout the place, and we were well supplied with linens, dishes, and even some condiments. In addition, the price was reasonable--in fact it was the cheapest one I found. I had never rented from VRBO before but I certainly will again. I was very satisfied with the house, and the owners were unintrusive and always accessible by email. For example, I emailed the owner about the password for the wireless, and got an almost immediate response, so we were able to access the Internet quickly--seemingly a must in this day and age. If we are ever in need of a place to stay in the Islamorada/Tavernier area, we will certainly stay there again.

We stayed at this property 12 years ago with our parents and young children. This time we came back with our adult children. The house is very clean and most of the appliances have been updated. The location is convenient to shopping - there's a Winn Dixie and CVS right up the street. The location is great for boaters - easy access to the Gulf and is a short distance to Tavernier Creek and Snake Creek.

Being that this would be our first time staying in Islamorada, I really researched the vacation homes in this area and we were beyond pleased! This home was very nice and clean, comfy beds and a beautiful view of the canal. We packed so much as far as food, toiletries, etc. but got there and they had so much that we didn't have to use ours. They even had spices, coffee, flour and more! I'm sure it was from previous guests but still good to have. Not to mention, the super close Winn Dixie was very affordable, unlike what we heard of Florida Keys grocery prices. We dined out a few times but nothing was better than our candle-lit dinners of our freshly caught fish on the nice deck overlooking the canal! And we also loved our friendly manatee! We will definitely be repeat guests at this wonderful home! Thanks so much!

This lovely listing is true to its pictures and description - clean, exceptionally well maintained and well decorated. We really enjoyed our time here. The owner bends over backwards - we especially enjoyed the boat ride he graciously gave us as well as his recommendations for restaurants. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as less than a mile from shopping plaza that includes a Winn-Dixie, liquor store, pub, ice cream store, dollar store, Pier 1 Import and movie theater to name a few. Would definitely recommend this home to all. We were provided with a pass to Founders Park down the road. I especially loved the new state of the art washer and dryer in the house. The master closet was big enough to sleep in, plenty of linens and pillows available. The favorite spot was the red tiled veranda visited often by a white egret. Saw many fish and manatee from our dock. Snap this place up for your next vacation. Cleveland, Ohio

The house was clean and centrally located with shopping, gas, sight-seeing nearby. Perhaps because of the cooler weather we had during our stay we were captivated by a family of manatees in the canal at the house! We saw them throughout our stay, and because they are endangered animals it was a very precious experience. We had kids and dogs and found the house to be comfy and the owners very welcoming. We would recommend it highly.

We stayed in April of 2010. These are absolutely the nicest people you will ever rent from. We had the best time, caught a lot of fish, and intend on coming back in May next year when the fishing is even better.

My Family and I had a wonderful time in Key Largo. The location was perfect for seeing all of the Keys, but we didn't have to drive too far from the "mainland" . The house was clean and had a great layout for the family. The kids had room in the yard to play and fish right from the dock... they caught snapper and pinfish with the leftovers from dinner. The run out by boat was perfect and was in protected water. I hope this unit is available again next winter.

We stayed on this propety from 9-25-09 - 10-2-09.The house was awesome and the area was very quite and peaceful. The owner's treated us like celebrities and all the necesities were included. We trailered our boat and the boat ramp was 2 blocks away, very convinent and safe. The canal had easy access to the bay and ocean side via Tavanier Bridge (10 minutes boat ride). We can't wait to come back and highly recommend this property to anyone travel here with confidence you won't be disappointed.

A weekend here is was way too short...We loved the place, the tranquility, the cleanliness and mostly the hospitality from the owners. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in such a wonderful and peaceful place.

We have stayed at this home several times. It is a very nice rental, and is extremely affordable compared to other rentals in the area. It is situated on a wide deep canal, that is very close to the bay. The home is centrally located for shopping and restaurants. Close to the famous Tiki bar, but not too close! There is a small fully stocked grocery store right across the street. Property is fully fenced. Owners are super people. A+++++ for all aspects. Guaranteed you will have a great time.

We stayed at this house for a month and was very pleased. The house is very clean and the owners are very friendly. It's conveniently located to gas stations and grocery store. You could not ask for more accomadating owners. They have ample parking space which is a nice ammenity. I would definately stay there again.
