First time users of "Home Away from Home" and we "lucked out". The villa was very nicely updated and very comfortable. The view from the lanai is spectacular. Loved the Country Club. We loved it so much, we extended our stay for a few more days!

Yes, that's exactly what happens when you arrive in Palm Desert - you are instantly seduced by the beauty and ambience of the place! And this condo reflects that perfectly with its stylish, relaxed and welcoming ambience. Incredibly convenient location within easy access to all the pleasures the region has to offer, the condo offers every convenience to make your stay comfortable and stress-free, and is spectacularly located in the heart of the Palm Valley Country Club with magnificent views over the golf course and mountains beyond. This review may seem over the top in terms of superlatives, but this is the way it is. We loved our stay so much we started to look for real estate nearby, and we're not even US citizens!! We would certainly stay here again - the owner was quick to communicate and very easy to deal with. We would certainly recommend it to any family and relatives. It was a perfect size for us - a 55+ couple, but it equally could have accommodated another couple without impacting on privacy or space. Restaurants: Tommy Bahamas, Trattoria Tiramisu, City Wok Shopping: Ralphs was brilliant - amazing deals on alcohol, and only a 2-3 minute drive from the condo Golf: Amazing everywhere, but especially La Quinta Mountain course, Classic Club, Indian Wells Players, Terra Lago and PGA Stadium. Silver Rock....... Shopping: Begin at Cabazon Desert Premium Outlets, and if you have any funds left or your credit card provider hasn't cancelled your card - El Paseo is hard to beat. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

This rental was wonderful. The location is awesome on the course with the pond and waterfall across the way. The kitchen was well stocked, and very clean. Andy definitely takes care of his guests. This location would be great for a family with kids or adults getting away. We enjoyed just hanging out and going out for dinner. Thank you for a great weekend.

What a wonderful way to bring in the new year. This was my first stay at this property and it won't be my last. I was so pleased when working with the owner. He responded to all my emails and questions in a timely manner. The condo was clean, nicely painted, both bathrooms are newly remodled. There were plenty of linens and important toiletries stocked in the condo, as well as kitchen items.. The window (slider) in the living room and master bedroom both overlook the waterfall and the 18th hole. My husband had a fabulous day of golf. We cooked one night on the gas grill located on the front private patio and enjoyed our coffee on the back patio. I highly recommend this condo to anyone and know they won't be disappointed.

We stayed at Andy's condo in September 2009. It was absolutely amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The condo is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. We loved sitting on the patio listening to the waterfalls and watching the occasionally Roadrunner come by. We golfed at the Palm Valley Country club 3 times and really enjoyed it. Andy was excellent to deal with and had no problems. The pantry and fridge were stocked for us. We highly recommend Andy's place.

This is a beautiful spot and the decor is top notch. I've stayed at lots of places and been turned off by low quality furnishings and the feeling that the place was put together to be just a rental. This place was great; it felt like we were staying at a friend's beautiful home! From the custom lighting to comfy furniture to the plasma TV's to having a really nice kitchen with everything we'd need... this was way better than staying at even the nicest hotel in the area. Everything was obviously well thought out to insure we had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The club is great as well and one of the better spa facilities I've encountered. All in all just a wonderful time!

We have just returned from one of the best vacations we have ever had. We have been renters in the Palm Desert area for the last 20 years for seven to 10 days in August of every year. We love Palm Valley Country Club. Let me tell you about this beautiful condo we stayed in. We just enjoyed every minute of our stay. The condo is decorated beautifully, but yet it is so comfortable. Let me start with the garage, that fit my husbands truck, and made him so happy. The golf cart that he loved driving every morning to pick up our daily newspaper. He loved having his own golf cart as he golfed every other day. Everything inside the condo is perfect. Kitchen that is fully stocked with everything, top of the line appliances. Living room with a great entertainment system, where we watched the Olympics non stop. Each of the bedrooms had a very nice sized bathroom. Perfect flat screem tv in each bedroom. The back patio was so awesome to sit and and have coffee in the morning and read the newspaper. Listen to the waterfall, watch the ducks, very peaceful. We had our own private pool no matter what time of the day we went. We would enjoy hours of floating in the water, that was so refreshing. My husband golfed the championship course 5 times, and said the golf course is very nicely kept up. Every morning we would take a walk around the neighborhood. The clubhouse, people very friendly, huge workout room, olympic size swimming pool, which we did not use, but it was there for us. The daily paper gave us ideas of places to eat and shop, and what was happening in Palm Springs. Nearby is IMAX theather where we saw "Batman". We enjoyed walking around at the RIVER and eating at several of their restaurants. Palm Valley is located very close to the Fwy, and very close to many fun shops, yummi restaurants and grocery stores. This condo is everyting the website says, plus more. The worst part of our vacation was having to come home. Can't wait to return next summer. Thank you....Alice and Steve Klein

This condo exceeded our expectations. In addition to everything described in the listing, we were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen was very well stocked with all the basics plus good cookware, dishes and things like sugar, salt and pepper that in past rentals we have had to run around to pick up. I'm not a golfer so can't comment on the course, except to say it was beautifully maintained. There is great shopping and dozens of excellent restaurants nearby - but with our own barbecue and the great kitchen, we ate in most days. Everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable, the unit was quiet - an ideal rental unit.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
